Service excellent.Beautiful view.
Everything was perfect.
Foods and service are lovely.
Especially, live music made us romantic.
A great place to take clients for lunch. The atmosphere works well and the staff know are the best at customer service. Food is delicious too!
Gorgeous view, good food and great service! Will be back for more.
My friends and I went to ARC for the NEW YEARS EVE dinner event. We had a great time. The menu was different because of the special event. The food was very good. We went back for breakfast and really enjoyed it as well.
It was great! Staff are really good.
Loved the food and atmosphere, great live music which was nice and not too loud. Kids under 6 eat free!!
Christmas Eve dinner was excellent! The food was delicious and the service was exceptional (as expected). Thanks for a fantastic meal!
A relaxed luncheon in a sumptuous setting, attentive service, tempting food. I especially liked not having to shout over the music in order to talk. In fact the music was discrete, but seasonal, and a quite enjoyable mix. What a relief and a joy!!
Portion size were to small for how expensive the food is. Bread doesn't come with meal it'seems an extra seven dollars. The skin on the duck wasn't crisp enough. But the live music was great.
It was a cold night when we ate at ARC. I was wearing a cocktail dress and nearly froze every time the outside door swung open. There is an entrance from the hotel, my recommendation is to not use the other door on colder winter evenings. I rated Overall and Ambiance a 3 because of this.
Overpriced and not worth it. Food was okay, nothing amazing. I tried the sablefish and roast chicken. As well as the crab cakes to start. The crab cakes were tasted like tuna and mayonaise. Not at all crispy like at other places. I won't be back.
Tried lunch and dinner and impressed by the beef and deserts, except this time in this Year 2016. The staff are very very professional, especially this time. He asked if thre were any special occasion. He proactively and secretly prepared an anniversary chocolate cake, after he had got our answer. Thanks, the gentleman server! (Sorry, I forgot his name.)
Both of our lunches were delicious and served hot. Our waiter was tops. My only 'even better if' is that the seat where I was seated on a bench style seat was all worn and had holes in it. I expect better at this fine hotel.
We had an excellent meal and terrific service. Very, very satisfied.
Appetizers were great with very generous portions; the skillet bread and honey butter was particularly tasty. Mains were good, but much smaller portions. I had duck and my bf had sablefish. We were happy we had ordered the appies! Very nice atmosphere.
Everything excellent, great musician but music a bit loud, so we took a table at the far end.
Fantastic food, great spot for business meals, getting together with friends or a romantic date.
The food and wine was incredible and loved the live music. Made for the perfect ambiance.
Think of the food as gourmet comfort food
Dishes were tasty. Good wine selection. Interesting drink list.
Attentive service. Tasty, well presented food. Very good experience
We were staying in the Fairmont Waterfront so this was a convenient spot for dinner. It turned out to exceed expectations with delicious food, entertaining but not intrusive live music, and a great view of costumed comicon participants across the street! Our waitress was friendly and flexible as one guest was later than planned. I will look forward to dining here again when the opportunity arises.
The servers were very nice and attentive. I had the duck Raghu and that was very good.
For a quick, no fuss business lunch the service is excellent. The food was hit and miss - but it was a meeting site over a meal so was not expecting gourmet. It is also conveniently located and plenty of parking options near to choose from. The hotel's valet parking is also a nice option too.
One of the few less-busy places in coal harbour on a Friday night. Nice place, smaller dishes, good drinks.
It was good food and service from the time we walked in to time we left
Beautiful restaurant setting. Our 2 people entre combo was amazing. Love all the vegetables they served with the dishes.
Had the chowder for a starter....wow, best I've ever had. The skillet bread was amazing and entrees delicious. Add a fantastic live singer and our experience couldn't have been better!
Great location. Very good service from reception to server. Food was good, if not spectacular. Pricing was quite reasonable for food, but I thought the wine was overpriced. Overall, well worth a visit.
Lovely service! Loved our waiters! They were very attentive to us and helped each other to take care of us for our anniversary.
We had traveled on The Canadian train from Toronto to Vancouver and stayed at the hotel. We thought, as the hotel is part of the Fairmont group the restaurant would be of a high standard with excellent Canadian choices on the menu. The lay out, an Arc, gives lots if views to many tables however it makes it very noisy. The food choices are very limited and no typical Canadian meats, such as Caribou, Mouse etc. The Halibut that my husband ordered was exceptional but the prawns I had were tasteless. The wines are very expensive but the service was very good, friendly but unobtrusive. Breakfast in the hotel us also served here and was excellent. We did not eat here the next night. There are plenty of good priced excellent restaurants within walking distance.
Great location and ambiance. We had the food board. Food presentation was better than actual taste. Portion was very generous - it's big!
Great cocktails! The Lavender 75 was amazing. Food was excellent. Service was very good. Our server was funny and described dishes clearly. Perhaps it was the time of day we went, but it still had a hotel restaurant feel which takes away from the atmosphere.
Our server was very helpful and gave us great suggestions. I accidentally took the signed credit card receipt with me, and he ran after me to collect it but was quite funny and kind about my silly mistake. Food is great and served quite quickly, menu has variety, and the place is relatively quiet, so it's perfect for a 1-hour business lunch.
Experience the love to detail and to fresh food ...
The Arc restaurant was an unexpected gem. The service during our dinner was over the top, the young lady who serviced us was excellent. The halibut was exceptional and my wife's Risotto was equally very well prepared. Later when our desert arrived, our waitress had arranged some wonderful additions to our order which we assumed as due to it being our anniversary. Overall a memorable and sweet experience!
We had a most pleasant lunch - the service was exceptional, the food delicious (I had the fish and chips with a Caesar Salad rather than chips) and a glass of wine each (our server apologized that they didn't do half litres/half bottles) and the ambiance was perfect and we wen't hurried at all.
Wine was ridicously expensive almost triple the price.
Food was very good, but not fitting of the price. The service was non-existent. We went there for dinner, felt like we had to constantly search for our waitress. Thought it might be a one off problem so went there for breakfast and had the same thing happen. Since we were staying at the hotel that it's connected too (Fairmont Waterfront) that we would have a drink during Happy Hour. We were seated and to our amazement didn't have a server even come close to out table for over 10 minutes. I had to get up and find the matradie. It wasn't until we got up to leave five minutes later that a server appeared - Strike Three!!!! Would not recommend for anyone wishing top notch service to go with good food that's fairly priced. I won't give it another chance when I visit Vancouver again .
The table was done so beautifully. Looks great inside; every seat is a window seat with such tall windows. You don't get much of a waterfront view, but I liked looking at Canada place. I liked that there was live singing as well.
The food was great. We both loved the entrees. The veggies were nicely seasoned, and my friend got a good amount of fish on her plate. The dessert was good. The ice cream had a surprisingly unique flavour. Will be coming back to try the other flavours. The tiramisu was a classic.
The only thing I did not like was the appetizer. We got arugula with prawn. It was for the most part arugula and 5-6 regular sized plain boiled shrimps for 18 dollars. I could put that together myself in a minute for under 5 bucks organic/seafood sustainable.
Lastly, amazing service! I don't remember his name, but a filipino man. Very friendly; even walked us to the washroom when we asked where it was.
