We made a reservation on line, which was very easy, our table was ready, and the host pointed out the washrooms on the way to the table. Covid passport was a learning issue, but that was to be expected. As it was a business meeting, we were placed away from main room. We will be back! Thank you!
Great food and service in a nice atmosphere at reasonable prices.
First class customer service! This restaurant knows how to take care of their customers; somehow my order was not entered in and thus delayed things a little and to make things worse for them one of the servers accidentally spilled my drink but they were so apologetic and completely handled this accident in a very professional manner which makes the difference between a happy customer and an upset customer. I have dined here several times before and have always had a great experience (both food quality-wise and customer service-wise) and the way they handle this mishap was exceptional and thus I will definitely continue to come here and support them.
This was my first time at ARC and will definitely be coming back! Food was delicious and definitely worth a trip downtown. Service was great, everyone was super friendly and attentive. My new favorite restaurant, especially for brunch!
Great food for the brunch and excellent service. We were greatly surprised
Our server was awesome and the food well prepared. We stayed past hours!!
Good service and food/drinks but for some reason my reservation was not listed in the system when I arrived. Managed to still get a patio seat though so no harm.
Went for breakfast, food came 40 minutes late, small portions and was cold. They sat us outside and we had to ask twice to get the heater next to us turned on.
Regular menu is not available on weekends until 1:30.
Crab guacamole is extremely bland.
Service is terribly slow.
Very expensive for mediocre food.
Would not go again.
Great idea, but it did take a long time to receive food… for all you can eat with a time limit the food took long to get to us.
Bottomless brunch was decent - variety of food to choose from, drinks were very disappointing. Service was good but I can’t say that the almost $200 bill for 2 people was worth it.
Great service & tasty brunch. I would love to visit again
Didn’t end up eating here. Got seated and took a look at the menu and we were extremely unimpressed. Tiny menu with little variety. Nothing caught our attention so we left & ate elsewhere
Great meal. Generous and delicious desserts. The 3 Course menu was a great value.
Our server was stupendous. Her food recommendations and help with wine selection were spot on
A beautiful Vancouver afternoon, our wedding anniversary. We'd enjoyed the Imagine Van Gogh exhibit at the Convention Centre, then an early patio dinner at Arc. The menu is concise but delicious. The fig jam, local honey, and grainy mustard on the meat and cheese tray added exquisite flavours. James offered helpful, friendly service and made our day truly special. Thanks again, James!
A regular, quarterly lunch - excellent experience.
Service from Vivian (waitress) and Frank (bar) was exceptional.
The food and the place were amazing. Our server was polite but too pushy at the same time. We were also hurried several times to order and we just wanted to take our time and enjoy the date. Overall everything was okay.
Our first experience at ARC. Fantastic service. Incredible food. In particular we loved the Dungeness crab and Guacamole appetizer!!! Ordered it a few times! Everything we tasted was phenomenal. Low key celebrating my daughter’s birthday.
Excited to visit again in the near future.
Everything was great, but just a little slow with bringing the bill
A nice restaurant with good service. Food was just average for the price and location. Good ambiance and quiet which is a plus.
Service was amazing.
Great options and amazing flavours. We sat on the patio and listened to street music which really added to the experience!!!
Enjoyed the food- heaters were nice - the busker music across the street was not the fault of the restaurant - patio very good
Always enjoy Arc
Amazing experience, food was so worth the price and quantity for the brunch flat rate. Highly recommend
I would have liked a few more options for the menu.
The server choose to ignore us and never asked us for anything. We left after 20 minutes. Sadly it was not even busy.
We tried several cocktails- they were unique but not impressive. Same for the food - only a few dishes stood out. That said the service was outstanding and the wait staff were friendly, accommodating but professional. This is a solid 4.5/5 restaurant in a city with many choices. PS all the COVID safety protocols are appreciated, we felt safe.
Polished and attentive staff seated us on the nicely appointed patio (view is of a busy street with slivers of waterfront, depending on where you sit). Although the menu is a bit pedestrian, food is solid... nice presentation, reasonable portions and tasty. Overall - definitely worth returning to.
Professional yet friendly service.
Food was overall great. Too much salt on Veggie/potato, but the steak was cooked right and tasty.
My son had Mac/cheese off the kids menu, disappointed as it was just like Kraft dinner.
The quality of the food was pretty good, but perhaps not good enough for the prices charged. The service was prompt and friendly. Overall, very enjoyable experience - albeit a little too pricey.
Our last day in Vancouver, so we wanted to fancied it up. We went for brunch at ARC restaurant, part of Fairmount Waterfront hotel. We had our reservation, and at arrival, we were quickly seated. Our waitress Vivian section was hopping. She was having hard time to reach us after she introduced herself. We are waiting patiently and little hungry. The assistant manager or manger Tobias saw us , decided to help Vivian and take our orders. He was super amazing and helpful. I started with hibiscus mimosa, and had and amazing and delicious salmon Benedict. My sister went for an egg and bacon sandwich. We both enjoyed our dishes; we devoured our plates completely. If you are willing to sworn extra money, this is one is good place.
Location is great, server was top knot and we enjoyed the evening.
Overall a positive experience , good service and prompt follow up . The reservation line was a bit long but once we were seated it was great :)
It was me and my moms first time coming to this restaurant and our server Gabriel was kind to start off with the food he recommended from the all inclusive menu. He was patient and served us delicious food.
The location and ambiance was great! We went for the Weekend Brunch where you pay $49 and have a menu of about 13-14 items to choose from. One person in our party had dietary restrictions (no dairy) which meant there was almost nothing they could have which was a bummer so they had to get something completely different. The food itself was a hit and miss.
Some things we really enjoyed including the buttermilk buscuits and honey butter, the ooey gooey skillet, and the beef shortrib poutine. The beef was so flavourful and melted in your mouth and the skillet was the perfect blend of sweet and spices with the sweet and tangy cream cheese.
Some items that were so-so include the Croque madame, the Jerk Fried Chicken, and the Traditional Benedict. Perhaps our expectations for the Jerk Fried chicken were too high, but something didn't sit right. The sauce for both the Croque Madame and Tradtional Benedict had a bit of a bitter aftertaste which was not so pleasant. One item we absolutely weren't satisifed with was the Migas Breakfast Tacos. No flavour whatsoever and very bland. Would not recommend.
If the menu was switched around every once in a while, we might consider coming again. Otherwise, this is manily one of those bucketlist type things where you can come to once for the experience.
Long line to get in for reservation. Which meant we were seated 15 mins past the time of our rez
Amazing service and dare I say the food was even better! Brought together with care and quality ingredients. I am so happy to have tried this place and will definitely be coming back!
The food was amazing! Server was attentive, friendly and made excellent recommendations. I would definitely come back again
Our server Chelsea was amazing! The food was delicious!
