   Came here with a group of five for my dad's birthday. Service from our waitress was superb. We started with a few oysters which tasted very fresh. I had the seafood special which was Ling cod, which was delicious. The rest of our group were very happy with their meals as well

   We shared a dozen mixed oysters and both had sablefish as our main. The oysters were very tasty. The fish was perfectly cooked and served in a soy-miso broth with Asian veggies' -an excellent well presented meal. Service throughout was attentive and knowledgeable. A wonderful evening. We go the Araxi whenever we are in Whistler and recommend this restaurant highly.

   Excellent restaurant,never disappointed me for years. I went there w/2friends on 9/25 ‘18 after a round of golf on Fairmont Chateau Whistler. We ordered 1dz oysters , tuna tataki & some other appetizers to share, together with tenderloin steak, home made pasta,and pork belly + scallops as our main courses. The oysters from the bar for sure were fresh chilled & milky sweet as usual, the sweet pork belly w/ a bit of too salty scallops was a surprise n my first try too. The tenderness of the home made pasta was a beauty, and the steak was the champion of the night. Good Ambiance ,lovely waitresses ,fabulous food n wine, and the friendly prices. It is one of my pocket lists every time I visited Whistler.

   We had really nice service, but there was a very obnoxious loud table that the servers didn't take care of, it was disruptive. They oysters and ship were great, but the mains (porkbelly and scallops) was meh.

   Our food was delicious, but our experience wasn’t the absolute best. Our waitress was incredibly friendly, but they seemed understaffed so the service did suffer a little bit. We were seated right next to the loudest table in the restaurant where a screeching group of drunk cougars were sitting. They were so loud we couldn’t even hear each other talk, I don’t mind people having a good time, but they were a bit excessive. I wish the staff had asked them to lower their yelling match by like 20 decibels. Other than that the food was amazing and I would go again to eat but not to listen to the raucous squabble of middle-aged woman.

   We absolutely loved our experience! The oysters were the best I have ever had and by far the steak dinner was the best steak we have ever had! It was melt on your tongue, super tender, delicious!! The sauce was so flavorful yet light, we did not want the bites to end! We loved the cocktails and appreciated the knowledge of our server. One small complaint is that we had mentioned to our server that we were on our honeymoon and by chance the two tables beside us received desserts with Congratulations written in chocolate on their plates while we did not. That was a small detail that he could have picked up on. Also, when went to pay we tried to use a MasterCard gift card and it wouldn't go through. Apparently they need to be processed first as a pre-authorization and later completed for the full amount. This wasn't our server's fault, as we also were not aware of this procedure, but this is something that the restaurant could look into and train its staff for to avoid awkward scenarios like ours at the time of payment. Overall we had a fantastic experience and I have already told many friends and family about it. We will go back for sure. Although it will have to be a special occasion as it's not exactly within our average budget.

   I went there to celebrate my husband ‘s birthday. The staff was friendly. My husband and I both ordered the tenderloin which was cooked to perfection. The deserts were spectacular made in house with fresh ingredients. If you were to go there for a romantic evening you might find it a bit noisy.

    Great spot for our group of 4. Wonderful, accommodating service. We had a fish-lover, a fish-hater, a vegetarian and a vegan at our table, and there were delicious options for everyone.
