    We had an awesome dinner to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday before an event at the United Center. Josh took great care of us and the food, ambiance and service was outstanding. The location is unassuming on the outside but a cool vibe inside. Thank you for a great dinner out and celebration! We will be back!

    Chef Ismael Lopez is amazing. Everything he made us was out of this world and his explanations and curation of the experience made it truly special. We were there celebrating our third anniversary on a rare night out given that we have a 16 month old, and he made it absolutely an experience to cherish and remember. The fish was fresh. Almost all of the sauces are his own creations. The presentation is stunning. The flavor combinations and thoughtfulness are truly special. Not to be missed. Do the Omakase experience at least once, it is well worth the price tag for a special occasion and honestly better priced than some of the competition. We’ve never done Omakase anywhere else but it is hard to imagine a better experience.

    We went for a birthday and sprung for the omakase and it was perfect. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding. My boyfriend has a severe nut allergy and they were so accommodating and careful. We will definitely be back!!

    The service here is absolutely amazing! Our waiter was incredibly knowledgable of everything on the menu and had a true passion for the food and the chef's work. Do the chef's tasting menu, we have never tasted sushi like this- was an incredible experience!

    Without a doubt Arami serves the best sushi I've had outside Japan. They are light years beyond your typical sushi bar that serves ice cold raw fish that you need to dunk in soy sauce to get some taste. Their fish is fresh, delicate, and the chef's presentations are unique and incredibly flavorful. And the staff is very gracious and the service is attentive without being over the top. Just. Go.

    Every aspect was amazing. Chef Martin did a fantastic job in walking us through the omikase experience and Christy did a great job of anticipating whatever we needed. The level of detail made our visit feel even more special. Thank you again to the staff for helping us celebrate our special occasion. Highly recommend

    The chefs, wait staff and bartender were all wonderful! We had a great experience at Arami and are definitely going to go back for dinner, and for special occasions, the omakase experience.

    It was a spiritual experience. We did the chefs tasting and it was the best Japanese meal my son and I have ever had. Incredible. Can’t wait to go back😋

    Best me that I or my girlfriend ever had. Progression was well paced for an omakase with no delays. It was dinner and a show watching the chef prepare the sushi. Each sushi had an amazing ingredients pared with it and unique preparation. The hot courses were unique and well done too. The chef answered all our questions and made it a great experience, explained each sushi course. Again it was amazing meal but just cost prohibitive so I gave a cost value of 4. Definitely would do again but maybe once a year, or less :)

    I was told by a friend that this was the best sushi in Chicago. It is not. The sushi is above average at best. I found the service to be quite disappointing and the descriptions of sushis to be inaccurate (e.g., a side order of vegetables came out as maki rolls with avocado and zucchini inside….umm ok.) Casual place and decent food. would only go back in a pinch.

    Was a wonderful time for us! We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and we are not super well versed in higher-end sushi. Not only were all our questions answered, all items suggested were delicious, and they went above and beyond in helping us celebrate the special occasion. We will definitely be back!

    everything we had was delicious. We especially like the trio roll and the sashimi. When we go back we will try the chef's tasting menu...that looked so fun.
