Rosoto was bland. Bass and prawns were over cooked. Service was great
Superb. Excellent service and food....best in area.
Great atmosphere to have a special dinner. Presentation of the menue items was astonishing. Priced a bit high due somewhat to being Valentine’s Day . Would and have highly recommended this restaurant.
My husband wanted to come to Aragosta for his birthday. It was a wonderful experience. Brian, our waiter was great. He was very professional and we had a great time talking with him. The food was excellent - it was delicious and the portions were huge. Chef Imi visited us at our table and made a special dessert for my husband. We will definitely be going back and we won't wait a year and a half next time.
Best dining experience in Southern Utah. The food, and entire experience is outstanding.
We took a day off from the Red Mountain Resort to visit this small Italian restaurant on the recommendation from a art store owner in Kayenta. Although she boasted about the quality of the food, we still did not expect an A+ experience so far from a major town. A table was added just for the two of us based on our request in OpenTable. We were greeted as we walked in by the waiter and immediately shown our table in the center of the restaurant. The owner/chef cam out to greet us and surprised my wife with a rose. There was only one waiter with a trainee assistant, so although our wine took a bit of a time to get our table, it was excellent and fairly priced. We shared the tomato and mozzarella Caprese which was unusually fresh for this time of year. The chef surprised us with a complimentary Cajun Clam dip appetizer which was good, but overshadowed by the French Onion Soup and Lobster Bisque; both agreed as perhaps, daresay, the best we have ever had. Our palate was cleansed with a crisp blood orange sorbet. My wife had the rack of lamb, which was generous with 10-12 segments, cooked perfectly at medium rare. I had a house specialty, the tenderloin goulash which did was flavorful and had a delicate spice, although a full order may be too much for a fragile stomach. Being honest, the accompanying spaetzle was a bit dull and unseasoned compared with the other components. I finished the meal with a tawny port, which was liberally poured. If we ever go back to Ivins, we will likely go back to Aragosta the first night instead of the last. Heck - maybe both!
This little restaurant was a beautiful surprise. Rhett our waiter and Chef Imi were personable and paid attention to all the little details making our dining experience very special. The decor, ambiance, music choice, flowers, table service and timing and food presentation and taste were delightful!
Aragosta is one of the best restaurants I have eaten in anywhere. The food is spectacular. We had the wild salmon and the duck leg. Both were done well. The side dishes are always good.
It is in a most unusual location, behind a car wash and gas station in a tacky strip center. Don't let this deter you. Once inside, the smells and food are wonderful.
Great food from a little place you’d drive right by! A must go! Rhett was an awesome server and Chef came out and said hello! We will be back on our next trip to Utah!
Very nice restaurant. The chef is great and very nice. The food is very good and it is also very quiet and romantic. To my opinion, the best in the area !
Out of the way Gem, almost missed the place due to its location. Small intimate dining. The Chef came out and introduced himself, gave my wife a Rose because it was her birthday. He informed us what were his special"s and what his main dishes were. The food was outstanding and the presentation of it was spectacular. The portions were more than you would see at most fine dining restaurants. My wife had Lamb and said it was one of the best meals she had ever had, the meat was way more than other restaurants serve. I had the Sea Bass and it was perfect. Even the vegetables were very good. The whole experience was worth the travel to get there. We will definitely be back and bring friends and family with us.
Great place to make good memories. Staff has learned the magical ability to treat customers as royalty and family at the same time. The food is top shelf. The only decent place for seafood in southern Utah.
Dined at Aragosta while in town for a special birthday celebration. The food was fantastic, service impeccable.
The location is tucked away in an unlikely spot but inside delivers a fabulous culinary experience!
Lovely meal, nice menu. This is a hidden gem in a location where you would expect a 7-11. Get past the location and give Chef Imi a try. Nice white tablecloth experience with attentive service.
It truly was a very nice dining experience. The food was first class, presented well and for the money, a good portion. Thanks very much for the lovely dining experience.
Aragosta is St. George's only true gourmet restaurant. We are very lucky to have Aragosta here. The chef is outstanding.
We've dined here often and have never been disappointed. Food is exceptional both in taste and presentation. Service is excellent!
We had our son and his wife in town for the holidays. From the service to the dessert an A+. My husband ordered the nightly special which was good but not as good as the dish I ordered. Chef Imi adjusted the meal from out ticket and visited out table to apologize even though no adjustment or apology was necessary! Received a wonderful caramel pudding cake for dessert at no charge!
We have eaten at Arogosta several times before and have never been disappointed !
Best place in town!
Wonderful Christmas Day dinner! We had difficulty finding the restaurant (follow the directions on the restaurant web site and not Google) so we were way late for our reservation. The chef was most generous and accommodating, though, so our dinner was saved! Great service and delicious food. I would return next time I Amin the area.
We love this restaurant for a number of reasons. Quiet, no kids! Small restaurant with limited seating makes for low noise level. Rhett, our server, is wonderful. Your glass is never empty whether it is water or a beverage. Plates are removed quickly. Food presentation is creative, tasty, and cooked to perfection. Chef Imi visits each and every table to greet you and asks for feedback. How many chefs do that? We prefer this restaurant over any in St George or Mesquite.
It’s a very cozy, romantic, special occasion restaurant. We felt welcomed and the chef came to our table to greet us. The service was outstanding, the food was amazing as well as the presentation. Absolutely top shelf. I can’t recommend this enough and looking forward to our next visit. FYI google maps sent us in the wrong direction
This is a great place for a nice evening out, the food is delicious and everyone is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend eating here especially for a special occasion.
What a gem! This is one of the best places for Dinner on the planet. The food and service were AMAZING! A little higher priced but worth it! We have flagged this for any special occasion.
What a wonderful find! Food and service were both wonderful. The chef/owner came to check in us not once but twice with a cheerful personality. From a lively menu I chose the scallops (which melted in your mouth) over a bed of linguine - with a portion size twice that of anywhere else we’ve been. My husband chose the sea bass which was also delicious and melted in his mouth and was cooked perfectly. Save room for desert! We shared the chocolate mousse with an orange liquor - a definite for chocolate lovers! We will be back as there are so many other menu items we must try.
We had a lovely evening celebrating our anniversary at Aragosta. What made this special was the attention of Chef Imi to the fact that it was our anniversary (he included many nice touches for us), the unobtrusive waiters, and the quiet atmosphere and music. Yes, it is a bit dark. We didn’t have that problem because our table was directly under a light. However, we wouldn’t have wanted much more light in general. We will definitely return for our next special occasion.
Chef Imi outdid himself again! Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! We like it so much we drove over 50 miles to get there. Well worth the drive! Fine dining in Southern Utah.
My husband’s birthday.
We know the chef personally so he made it a special occasion. Food was excellent. Service was extraordinary.
The food was fabulous. The service was very accommodating and friendly. The chef came out to visit the tables and see if the food was to our expectation. Great experience!
Food was amazing. At first I was worried, it was next to a gas station in a strip of stores. Then we walked in and it was a very tiny space. Tables were very close together. It was nice though fresh flowers, low lighting. Our waiter was on top of everything. He actually seemed personally offended if you didn’t finish your plate and tried to make it right. Overall good experience and I’d go back.
We spent Thanksgiving dinner having a wonderful meal at Aragosta. When we made the reservation we did not know that the menu would be limited to turkey with the traditional Thanksgiving trimmings. We told the waiter that we could not stay because my girlfriend is a vegetarian and while I do eat turkey, it is not one of my favorites. Chef Imi came out of the kitchen with a big smile and a personality to match and told us some of the other dishes he was able to prepare for us. We both opted for the blackened salmon and it was the best either one of us had ever had. It is worth mentioning that we are from NY and accustomed to NYC restaurants which are world renowned for their cuisine. This meal was every bit as good as any we have had anywhere! The service was impeccable and overall the experience was a definite A+
Always an incredible experience. We very much enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner. Each course was unique and wonderful. World class Chef and great service.
The service was fantastic! The food was very good. Overall surprised and will for sure return for more great dinners.
Great food, interesting and varied menu, excellent, extremely competent and friendly service, very nice atmosphere. Definitely will stop here again when we are in St George!
We had a reservation at 6:30 pm but due to circumstances came for lunch instead. Fabulous! Had a wonderful time, food was fantastic and sincerely hope you’ll be opening a location in St. George SOON!
Simply amazing and delicious! Very private
A very personal, and positive experience. We got the feeling that we were singled out for special treatment, even though we weren't.
A gem in an old strip center. Food and service were great
Great restaurant - a real gem! Traveling and in town for a week. This was on the list based on good reviews. We were very happy we ate there. My wife had the Atlantic Salmon - cooked perfectly. I had the Châteaubriand for one. Both plate we well done and artistically presented. I have a shellfish allergy and the chef accommodated with a different sauce. The vinegarette was delicyon the salads. Good pairings on the wine as well. Jason was our server and was polite and professional.
The Chef’s food is always wonderful and our Waiter Rhett, couldn’t have been better. We had a great time.
Special occasion with out of town visitors. The food was superb and the presentations were exquisite. Highly recommend.
