Arabica Bar & Kitchen
Atmospheric at any time of day with the lively bustle of market life and a soundtrack to lift your spirit – we’ll be serving our signature breakfast with Workshop coffee, a vibrant array of colourful meze and small plates, flatbreads from the clay oven and gently spiced meats from the charcoal grill.
A convivial place for family, friends, or solo enjoyment, anytime of day
Great food, service and ambience- would highly recommend
Great atmosphere, lovely and friendly service, delicious food . The wine a bit on the expensive side...but was good!
Servers were not accommodating, and gave us a booth table when other tables were empty and could fit us more comfortably.
Lovely buzzing place on the edge of Borough Market. Food came fast and in stages which was ideal for our pre-theatre meal. Nice staff, lovely atmosphere. I’ll be back.
Pretty good food, nice location and good value
Despite booking way in advance we had worst table next to toilets. Food all came at different times. Some finished before others had food. Wine extortionate. £44 a bottle or £11 a glass. Very loud music. Awful place
Excellent service. Delicious Middle Eastern food and a really interesting wine list.
First visit... food was great, fresh and flavoursome but didn’t feel that 12.5% service charge was justified- as service was slow, ordering more food and the bill took a few attempts to get a waiter’s attention!
The food was really interesting and delicious with lots of good options for vegetarians. The ambiance and setting was lovely for a dinner with friends or a romantic evening. We were initially slow to order ourselves and the waiters were very obliging and accommodating. I think this perhaps resulted in the delays at the end of the meal and they forgot our order of tea.
Excellent interesting good, excellent wine choice, great service
Great cocktails - nice place - food really good in general. One dish didn’t hit the mark - feedback given to staff in responses to ‘how was your meal today’. No reply given really.
Amazing food and knowledgeable staff, my boyfriend is middle eastern and vegan and thinks it's amazing too. Lots of choice that can be tailored to meet your needs and the vegan cocktails are fantastic!
The food was delicious. I’ll definitely be back very soon!
Excellent restaurant with a good variety of dishes both for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Table was ready when we arrived, drinks didn't take long to arrive and everything was really tasty. Average size dishes (perhaps a little smaller than expected) for the price but very tasty and would 100% go back again for more.
Fabulous food, all of it. Lamb cutlets to die for!
Great place, great food and great atmosphere. Would recommend this place.
Lovely food and some delightfully different options. Loved it!
Very nice place, good food & good service. Nothing more to say really :-)
Great food and friendly service. Perfect for friends happy to share and try different dishes.
I am vegan and I liked the the fact they offered me vegan dishes even though the menu didn’t have many choices.
I was quite impressed with that.
Six of us ate here after doing the jamon carving course at nearby Brindisa. Despite having stuffed ourselves with ham, we had a lovely meal at Arabica. My wife said it was the best babaganoush she has ever had. The salt & pepper squid was great, as was the hummus.
The wine list is quirky with wines from a variety of unusual countries. We had one from the Bekaa Valley which was good but took its toll the following day.
I'd recommend Arabica with only one reservation: the two waitresses who served us were pretty grumpy, although perfectly efficient.
Has potential; the food is good, though the portions are quite small for the price, the fact that its mezze (not tapas as our waitress called it!) notwithstanding. It's rather sharp practice to serve dips without bread, then charge £1 a piece for mini pittas! Not what I expect from a middle eastern restaurant.
II wasn't a busy time, but the service was a little inattentive; it was quite difficult to get our drinks ordered. Its also a tad pretentious (I suppose its Borough...), with phonetic translation of the restaurant name into a meaningless Arabic word emblazoned across the wall.
Nonetheless, everyone seemed to enjoy it so it gets a cautious recommendation.
Really delicious food, lots of variety and flavour. Only reason it wasn't 5 stars for food was a couple of the red meat dishes weren't quite as tasty as the rest. Service was excellent, food arrived quickly and overall it was a great experience. It wasn't cheap but we did order a lot of food. Both me and my girlfriend will be going back. Highly recommend. My favourite dishes were the falafel, hummus with lamb fillet, Egyptian rice, vegetable freeke.
Had a fantastic night out with friends, excellent service, food and a lovely atmosphere
The food was delicious and the service outstanding, including great cocktails!
Main issue was the reception from the surly unfriendly hostess who ‘welcomed’ us. So so rude and didn’t start the evening off very well at all. Unnecessarily spikey. Hardly the welcome we would have expected. Food was gorgeous, but the initial experience coloured the evening.
Buzzing with activity and oozing with fragrant deliciousness, 4 friends and I enjoyed a fab Friday night dinner here. They recommemd 2 dishes per person, I think 1 large-ish and 1 smaller side or dip each , plus some extra bread to share around is adequate. Everything we ordered was great. Staff did a cracking job throughout, impressive as the venue was packed. I plan to return.
Amazing food! We tried a load of sharing dishes and loved every one. Thoroughly recommend.
A vibrant and all round great restaurant. The food and service is excellent. A real gem.
The food is amazing here, great variety, really good for the vegetarians and gluten free people! The waiter we had was brilliant, really friendly and lovely. The only down side was that the cocktails came out after our starters, and the mains started coming out at the same time as the starters. It would have been nice to have a bit of a break between the courses. Otherwise, the whole table (6 of us) was really happy with the restaurant, and it's usually hard to please everyone in a group of that size!
Fantastic food. Wish the seats were more comfortable.
Very nice food and excellent service. The place is extremely hot though, which is the only downside :)
Great location and atmosphere. Delicious with a great variety of dishes. We plan to go back and try the breakfast next time.
Great food overall, the only criticism would be the bread was not a good as most middle eastern restaurants. Middle eastern bread as people know is typically amazing so that was a disappointment.
The waitress was pretty rubbish, very abrupt, no smile and in general cold.
Would definitely recommend Arabica just don't expect much from the bread.
Delicious food, great ambience in a lovely location. Can’t wait to go back!!
Lovely restaurant with great staff and very good service. Portions were much bigger than we thought so we found it difficult to finish. It would have topped it off if they had been able to provide halal meat so we could have tried the other dishes. I will definitely come back again!
I come here at least 4-5 times a year. It’s local and easy to get in without booking weeks in advance. The food is consistently good and fresh. Service is attentive. My friend dined here for lunch for the first time and was similarly impressed.
Delicious food, friendly staff and I liked the ambience, not only the place but the situation within Borough Market though we got lost finding it. It was my sisters birthday and they gave us some complimentary baclava which was a nice extra.
Great value, fantastic flavours and speedy service. Will definitely be back
Great night, for a birthday celebration. Fantastic service, great food. Highly reccomended.
