Arabian Nights Ratings and Reviews
Food and service was great. We got the appetizer platter and meat platter so we could sample a lot of things. the meat was a little dry but the flavors were great. Most of the patrons were eating out back and smoking hookahs. Dining room was pretty empty so easy to get a reservation. I would recommend
Excellent food!!!! The service was bad because they were understaffed the evening that we were there. We had a very early flight to catch the next morning so we wanted to leave quickly but it took forever to get our check and pay. But it really wasn't the waitresses fault, they were running around in this huge busy restaurant trying to deal with everything and they apologised to us. We would definitely go again. Best Arabic food in town!!!!
Genuinely enjoyed our meal at Arabian Nights for a birthday dinner. The restaurant's food is excellent and it seems people have not yet discovered this space. It is huge and very pretty decor, but the service was just not that great. It seemed they were going through some menu changes as the wine list was non-existent and they only gave 5 people 2 menus. Will definitely come back in a few months to see how they've progressed.
Arabian Nights hit the spot as exactly what we were looking for that evening - a tasty and relaxing meal with a menu that my out-of-town friend couldn't get just anywhere. Sitting outside under the patio is delightful if you don't mind hookah (or want to enjoy it yourself). Probably a 4-star in most circumstances, but my specific experience was 5-star.
I love Arabian Nights! I went there with my girlfriend and her parents when we were in need of a last minute reservation and was blown away. I have been telling all my friends about the quality and authenticity of the food. Get the sampler platter if you're with a group.
I had gone here for my birthday dinner. The food was great! They have the option of hookah with seating in the patio. It was really good. The hookah was prepared perfectly and they were changing the coal as and when needed. My friend is a vegetarian and he had a good number of options to select from. The quantity of food served was good too.
Overall a great experience and I would definitely want to go again. The place had a nice relaxed vibe so it's good for casual dinner and catching up with friends with some hookah!!
The Food was really Good and the waitress reminded me of Miranda Frost (Rosamund Pike) :) She was so cute and very friendly and patient to answer all our questions since there was a mixed crowd of staunch Vegans and staunch meat eaters on the table... Food was awesome, health friendly, pocket friendly, well cooked and tasty.. Overall an awesome treat with value for money!
Hookah and Almaza beer have always been the main draw for me at Arabian Nights, but the addition of kibbeh nayyeh to their menu of Lebanese delicacies has made it even better. It's easily the best food at any hookah spot in SF. The back patio is a hidden gem in the Mission.
As Lebanese, I always like to go places that reminds me of Home. And it My 3rd time at Arabian nights. Very consistent in good service and great food quality. They. Serve the Top 20 best sellers Lebanese food. Very delicious and have great authentic flavors.
Service was excellent. They stayed late for our table of 9 without complaining or making us feel uncomfortable. The waitress knew the menu really well and was very helpful in curating the family style assortment for our large table. We were very happy to find a place after a movie at the Roxie with good food that wasn't too noisy so we could hold real conversations.
The falafel was the best I've ever had! We shared the app sampler... everything was good. I ordered the lamb and it was cooked perfectly. Hubby had the kafta, said he he's had better...meh... anyways, give it a try, the waitress was very attentive and the ambiance was pretty cool.
Food was ok. Service was lousyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
We waited for almost 35minutes just for bread and hummus. And then more 30 - 35 mi after we placed order for main course. They didn't bring food for everyone all at once, so my one friend had to just sit and look at our plates while we ate our ordered food. When her order was served, it was way salty. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you have got absolutely nothing left to do. Ambiance could been better, they have got big place but not at all well arranged. Save your time and find other better options.
Pity, we never got to eat at Arabian Nights. We drove around for 30 minutes looking for a parking spot. We called the restaurant and asked for suggestions on parking but they could not help us. We had to give up and drive on. In order to submit this comment, we had to rate this restaurant. We did not eat there.
Food very good, service is a nightmare. Waiting to be seated when the restaurant was half empty. waiting to get the menu, waiting to someone to get our order, waiting for the food and no one even remove dirty empty plates. 15 minutes waiting for a cup of water to my 5 years daughter and then we used a bottle of mineral water we have in the stroller (good we remembered that we have one).
When we first got here we weren't sure we would stay because it was a large restaurant which was fairly empty.boy are we glad we stayed! The food was outstanding for both the vegetarians and the meat eaters. We got treated to birthday dessert and the wine selections met everyone's requests. We were a large group with the restaurant was easily able to accommodate and the server got all out food orders perfect. They put up with our stragglers and our slightly hard to handle group graciously and made us plan to definitely be back.
