I was introduced to Arabian Nights by a recently departed friend so the restaurant will always hold a special place in my heart. At the same time, I loved the cuisine from the outset. The warren evoke (dolmas) are the best; I also love all of the other vegetarian offerings. The staff are always friendly and efficient. The Restaurant is never noisy or over crowded. It is always a pleasure to eat at Arabian Nights!
Food was unexceptional; sesame dip that came with the bread before the meal was flavorless, and my dish, which was a special that takes longer to make, was overcooked and looked like sludge.
Menus are old; pages are crumbling.
This looks like a place that was once great and hasn't put any money into upkeep in a decade.
We were five people, the main courses came 35 minutes apart. When we objected we were told because we ordered appetizers for main course which only one of us. Overall very disappointing which is the shame as the quality of the food is nice
I love this place and often meet their with friend. The table service can be uneven, but the food and atmosphere make up for it.
The pita /hummus were amazing
Had a wonderful birthday celebration here for a party of 12. Received a really good service!
Food and service was great. We got the appetizer platter and meat platter so we could sample a lot of things. the meat was a little dry but the flavors were great. Most of the patrons were eating out back and smoking hookahs. Dining room was pretty empty so easy to get a reservation. I would recommend
Came for boyfriends birthday. It was exactly what I wanted. Thank you!
Food was fantastic! Great marinated kabobs, but service was very slow and we waited over an hour and a half for our entrée. The waitress was apologetic but fact remains that we were starving when the food arrived. Luckily it was very tasty.
Excellent food!!!! The service was bad because they were understaffed the evening that we were there. We had a very early flight to catch the next morning so we wanted to leave quickly but it took forever to get our check and pay. But it really wasn't the waitresses fault, they were running around in this huge busy restaurant trying to deal with everything and they apologised to us. We would definitely go again. Best Arabic food in town!!!!
Everything is beyond perfect
Genuinely enjoyed our meal at Arabian Nights for a birthday dinner. The restaurant's food is excellent and it seems people have not yet discovered this space. It is huge and very pretty decor, but the service was just not that great. It seemed they were going through some menu changes as the wine list was non-existent and they only gave 5 people 2 menus. Will definitely come back in a few months to see how they've progressed.
Decided to have a last minute birthday dinner and found a last minute reservation for a large group. The food was fantastic!
Arabian Nights hit the spot as exactly what we were looking for that evening - a tasty and relaxing meal with a menu that my out-of-town friend couldn't get just anywhere. Sitting outside under the patio is delightful if you don't mind hookah (or want to enjoy it yourself). Probably a 4-star in most circumstances, but my specific experience was 5-star.
I love Arabian Nights! I went there with my girlfriend and her parents when we were in need of a last minute reservation and was blown away. I have been telling all my friends about the quality and authenticity of the food. Get the sampler platter if you're with a group.
The restaurant doe not look very special, but the food is delicious and authentic, and the service is great. Fantastic value for money, definitely a restaurant I will go back to.
Delicious food!! Middle eastern decor really sets the atmosphere. Look forward to returning soon.
We need a last-minute reservations and they were able to accommodate us. There was another big party there and they handled us both well. The food was great and the atmosphere was fun. Great location in the heart of the mission.
Quiet location with great middle eastern food. Good value but not cheap.
An oasis of great middle-eastern food in the Mission district. Everything was fresh and tasty. The ambiance was exotic but comfortable. A great spot for a relaxed and satisfying meal!
Food just as we had in Egypt! Authentic in large portions Love the falafel and koushari. The joy of eating in San Francisco the world is here.
Friendly, good service and the food was excellent. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but it's San Francisco.
The food was delicious! We really enjoyed dining here, we'll be back!
I had gone here for my birthday dinner. The food was great! They have the option of hookah with seating in the patio. It was really good. The hookah was prepared perfectly and they were changing the coal as and when needed. My friend is a vegetarian and he had a good number of options to select from. The quantity of food served was good too.
Overall a great experience and I would definitely want to go again. The place had a nice relaxed vibe so it's good for casual dinner and catching up with friends with some hookah!!
We were pleasantly surprised by Arabian Nights. The food was very good - likely the best Middle Eastern food I have ever had. We highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. Nice people serving and just a perfect birthday dinner! We will definitely be back.
We had a great dining experience. We were celebrating
I had a lovely time at Arabian Nights. I went for my birthday and had a nice time.
The Food was really Good and the waitress reminded me of Miranda Frost (Rosamund Pike) :) She was so cute and very friendly and patient to answer all our questions since there was a mixed crowd of staunch Vegans and staunch meat eaters on the table... Food was awesome, health friendly, pocket friendly, well cooked and tasty.. Overall an awesome treat with value for money!
Food was fine, nothing special. If you need to eat in the Mission on a Friday or Saturday night and don't have reservations, this works. Not worth a special trip.
Been to this restaurant a few times now and always love it. The food is well prepared and presented. It tastes great, too. They do a nice job with Middle Eastern fare. The staff is very polite and the space is quiet and roomy.
Hookah and Almaza beer have always been the main draw for me at Arabian Nights, but the addition of kibbeh nayyeh to their menu of Lebanese delicacies has made it even better. It's easily the best food at any hookah spot in SF. The back patio is a hidden gem in the Mission.
Our favorite Mediterranean restaurant in SF! Love getting the vegetarian platter to share.
Very slow service. Food was just average, but pricey for what it was. Would no come back.
As Lebanese, I always like to go places that reminds me of Home. And it My 3rd time at Arabian nights. Very consistent in good service and great food quality. They. Serve the Top 20 best sellers Lebanese food. Very delicious and have great authentic flavors.
Service was excellent. They stayed late for our table of 9 without complaining or making us feel uncomfortable. The waitress knew the menu really well and was very helpful in curating the family style assortment for our large table. We were very happy to find a place after a movie at the Roxie with good food that wasn't too noisy so we could hold real conversations.
Food is consistently great. I have come to rely on the place because it is great. Especially if you like meat.
Kibbeh and pita were great. A bit too much dressing on the salad.
