Two Michelin-starred and New York Times Three-starred Aquavit, located in Midtown Manhattan showcases seasonal, Modern Nordic fare and has been a pioneer of Nordic cuisine since opening in 1987. The restaurant has an extensive wine list as well as an aquavit infusion and cocktail program. The Bar Room offers an a la carte menu for a casual elegant experience. The Dining Room serves a 2 or 3 course prix fixe menu or a 5 course tasting menu for lunch and a 5 course tasting menu or a Chef's tasting menu for dinner. We also offer Private Dining spaces for both social and corporate gatherings.

    One of the best meals of my life. Everything was perfect from service to decor to menu. For such an upscale restaurant, the price is actually not bad.

    As foreigners we found it a little difficult to hear and understand what the waiters explained about the food and wine, because of the conversation at other tables, and because of the waiters accents.

    Did not live up to our expectations Head servers were pushy and made faces when we did not eat all the food Food was good but not worth the 2M stars We were rushed and presented with the check before tea Id recommend you to go to Per Se which was a truly amazing experience.

    Every food was great with distinctive approach to cook and show. Only one are we felt sorry was too much Black truffle putting on nice wagyu to harm the taste (and it was too expensive).

    There web site shows an ala carte menu, but they only offer tasting menus. We would have gone somewhere else had we known. The food was mediocre to poor for most of the tastings.
