One of our favorite local go-to restaurants that we frequent on a regular basis. Never disappoints!
Waiter was very unhappy. Not sure what the issue was but he was not friendly or interested or able to engage in any conversation. How was everything?????? Nothing said.
Visited for Restaurant Week and had wonderful meals.
Disappointed in my most recent meal at AquaTerre Grille. We had a Saturday night dinner for 2 couples. The food was just OK. There were many empty tables - attesting to the fact that the restaurant has recently declined in both service and the quality of the food. That being said, I enjoyed an excellent and very fresh Bronzino type mediterranean fish for my main course. My dining partners all told me that their food was merely OK.
Have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years and was almost always happy with my meal. Hope that management is able to restore the restaurant to its prior high level.
First and foremost-The octopus appetizer is a must. I have had it grilled in other fine dining establishments but never have I had it served so moist in a cast iron pan.
The food was splendid. The lobster tail was huge! The drinks were exotic and appealing.
Great food and a comfortable atmosphere! Courteous wait staff and a good choice of menu options.

We won`t be back. I was not told of a `pre-fix` menu when I made the reservation. I politely asked if my wife & I were able to order off the main menu, to which he replied with a curt `NO` without explanation or apology. Neither of us liked any of the `pre` choices and were not interested in an appetizer or dessert. We should`ve left. Food was fair, my wife had to send back her undercooked seafood pasta dish.
Oh well, we did give this place a second chance, we were there New Year`s Eve & not crazy about it, but that`s all folks.
Seated immediately. Welcoming atmosphere. Attentive service, well paced. Delicious food. We were the last customers in the dining room and we were never rushed
We were seated by the window which was nice just wish the weather was nicer but will try again in the spring/summer. Drinks were good but expensive. Would not be able to have more than one with dinner. The food was very tasty and served at the proper temperature which I really appreciate.
Lots of food choices, great food, great service and very good prices. Enjoyed the restaurant
Food is consistency good (brunch). Service is usually pretty good but just average this time around as my plates started to pile up. Thankfully he kept the mimosas coming!

This is an absolutely WONDERFUL restaurant. We live a distance away and met cousins who live far in the oppostite direction.
As it happens we gave our daughters wedding rehearsal dinner there several years ago. We were so thrilled then.
When we came back this time for dinner, the menu was full of new and most interesting selcetions. I can't even spotlight any because everyone at the table was so pleased.
One to mention though is their Potato Wrapped Cod entree. What a delight. My husband had it and the fish was perfect and the potato "wrap" was a pefect temp and totally crispy.
The drinks are wonderful, the service impeccable.
Make it a must go on your list!
want a perfect meal? have their tuna tar-tar & grilled octopus for appetizers and branzini as your entree. if peterson is around, he's your go-to waiter! beautiful restaurant, delicious food. definitely a neighborhood gem!

We were there on New Year's Eve so had a holiday menu but looking forward to experiencing the regular menu as well!
Aqua Terra never disappoints. Stacy, Steve and Nick are lovely people. When you go to their restaurant, it is like visiting their home. They are warm and hospitable. Nick is a wonderful chef and we enjoy our dining experience every time we visit.
Overall, very good. Went there on New Year`s Eve.
Only complaint was w/ the front desk....the hostess at the front desk snapped at the seating hostess right in front of us. We were originally going to be seated near the front door & I asked that we sit a few booths away, as it was 20 degrees outside. Instead of just re-seating us, she sighed & said he`d check w/ the front desk. We were re-seated , but it was an awkward move on their part. BUT, the food was great. Worth going to, but they need an attitude adjustment, here & there.
Great overall restaurant. Love the salad that comes with the meal-fresh , imaginative & great house dressing. Wonderful selection of fish dishes.
Christmas get-together with friends. Always pleasant. The Lambos Family are great hosts.
The entire evening was a disaster. The waiter sat on the windowsill as he took our order. I first off expressed that my daughter must follow a strict diet. He asked the chef if the salmon was gluten free and told us it wasn't. we asked if the chef could not coat the salmon with horseradish crust and he said I will ask him. I ordered the Chicken Oriecceti and the waiter brought Shrimp oriecceti. He was reluctant to bring me the correct order. My daughters salmon was overcooked. Finally my chicken dish arrived and was very tasty. I was disappointed with our meal. Unfortunately, I probably won't be returning to Aqua Terra any time in the future.
I met my long time friend there on Sunday for brunch, which was very good. Our waitress was friendly and stopped by our table many times to see if we needed anything, and the young men bussing the tables were constantly removing used plates and bringing extra cream or napkins. It was a busy Sunday as it was close to Christmas; but we were never rushed, and we were pleased with our dining experience. In the past I have met friends for lunch and celebrated New Year's Eve there, and I intend to ring in 2018 at Aqua Terra again this year.
Sadly everything about this restaurant has declined.
While festively decorated for the holiday season, there is a musty odor throughout the restaurant. Service was virtually nonexistent which is puzzling since the restaurant was fairly empty. Food was mediocre... but hard to enjoy considering poor service and musty odor. Restaurant is in need of a complete makeover and new management that understands and acknowledges customer satisfaction is critical. Sadly everything about this restaurant has declined.
The place was awesome - and crowded! It was a great brunch except for the 30 college kids sitting next to us made it difficult to have a conversation and felt like a frat house. Looking forward to going again and hopefully a little more peaceful environment :-)

This was our first time at AquaTerra and we made reservations for 2. We were seated fairly quickly however, it took a significant amount of time for us to get served or for anyone to acknowledge our presence.
While everyone received bread and drinks we sat there hoping someone would wait on us. Finally, our waiter came by to ask us our order and made us order everything at once which I️ found a bit strange but at point I️ was happy to be served.
The bread came out minutes before our appetizers and of course we had to server for butter because they forgot that as well.
The food itself was mediocre. The chicken stuffed with Gorgonzola had the texture and taste of egg fu yung. The sauce tasted as if it was from a can and the steamed asparagus had no flavor. My friend received the salmon which was “ok” but lacked flavor and again her steamed was simply just steamed with no flavor.
We were never asked if we wanted the wine pairing altogether I️ found the pairings to be a bit odd. In all, as my first I️ was not impressed with neither the food or the service. The food pairings didn’t quite go together and and the sides lacked flavor.
Always a treat. Greeted by Stacy, the owner. Tried the soup sage and pumpkin. Delightful. The dish I enjoy here the most is the potato wrapped cod. Served over baby asparagus and covered in a tasty cream sauce with capers.
Go. No disappointments await.
Quick service and has wide selection of food. Egg benedict and Mimosa was delicious! Penne vodka is al dente. The array of desserts are awesome. Would definitely come back.
This was a first time dining at Aqua Terra, we was told by friends it was very good. They were 100% current, the food and particularly the service was first class. We were two couples, everyone enjoyed the dish they ordered. We will be back.

My husband and I came with friends who had never been to the restaurant before to celebrate our anniversaries. We were seated in a little alcove that was very cozy allowing us to hear each other. The food was absolutely delicious. Our friends couldn't stop complimenting the salads that came with our meals. Very generous and tasty along with the main courses. My husband and I each got the trout dish. Love, love, love.
We have been several times, and will continue as we've never had a bad meal. Our waiter, Peterson, was also very attentive to our needs.
Had a great dinner. Eric our waiter was great. He was also doubling as bartender and made a great martini. There were four of us and we all agreed our dinners were delicious. Salads were good with homemade balsamic dressing. We had, chicken and penne in vodka sauce, beef and vegetable stir fry, chicken parm and filet. I would recommend all four! We were in the lower Hudson Valley for a long weekend but if we are back in the area, we will definitely make this one of our dinner spots!
The food and service were both outstanding! Always consistent never had a bad experience.

We have eaten at A T many times since we discovered it during a restaurant week a number of years ago. Always 5 star.
Very nice restaurant, wine list is small, and no more bread, despite multiple requests.
Enjoyed celebrating my birthday here. It was our first visit to this restaurant, and we were very pleased with the meal. Portions are almost too large. We did take home leftovers. Coconut shrimp was my appetizer. Very tasty. Then seafood over linguini. Was surprised by how much fish was here. Clams, shrimp, mussels, and scallops.
Desserts are also huge.
As usual, an unhurried experience. I particularly like brunch for the full array of food, omelet station and cutting board. Price is reasonable even if you add on a glass of wine, Mimosa or Bloody Mary.
