Dishes feature carefully selected local produce and combine the staple ingredients of British cooking with groundbreaking techniques. The atrium bar is open all day with no reservation needed and serves an extensive menu of cocktails including two signature selections, one with ingredients inspired by the botanicals used to make gin and the second by a most British staple - tea.
From sunrise to sunset, guests can enjoy the changing views of the London skyline in this contemporary and cosmopolitan destination restaurant.
Very disappointed in the quality and price of the wine. Limited rose selection. No French rose. Terribly expensive for what it was.
It was very great eat out for us. Nice view , food and service were excellent!
Had a wonderful view! Food was great as well, definitely worth it and will definitely come back.
Thank you for your glowing review! We are pleased to hear you enjoy your visit to Aqua Shard. I very much hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in not too distant future.
We had a great dinner with outstanding service. The team was great. Thanks to David for making us feel special
Amazing! a very pleasant atmosphere but the view did it all!
Beautiful well cooked food and very good value and service
All amazing 😁. Service is a top!!! Brilliant. Thanks
I was amazing
Very disappointing food. Website leads you to a set menu, which was poor. Offered the a la carte at the table through an app only. Service at arrival, and to the table was extremely bad, though service at the table was as expected. This restaurant needs to make up its mind to establish if it is fine dining or a tourist hot spot. Thank goodness for the amazing view.
Excellent evening out to celebrate a special occasion.
Noticeable better food, service and ambiance after the revamp this year.
We liked the place, so so so overpriced!!!! Just to much and can never go back. Wanted to show kids tallest building in London, have a nice dinner too. But we did not get by the window. And no kids menu not much on the menu to chose from. Serving size, SMALL. cocktails SMALL, but nice people working there.
A lovely family lunch at Aqua Shard on Thursday. Service from Sadia was excellent, she made our visit such an enjoyable one despite our restless infant and a 7 year old fussy eater. Sadia made sure our little ones were happy, preempting all our needs before we realised ourself to give us a perfectly smooth and relaxed dining experience with little ones, even negotiating with the chef to prepare a lovely dessert that my fussy son would eat that wasn’t on the menu! Sadia was a credit to their staff. The food was excellent, ambience lovely and my son really enjoyed his visit which he had been asking for for years. Will definitely be dining here again.
Nice dinner out at the Shard. Really great setting, amazing food and a top night out
Well , we have been to Aqua Shard before and it was more expensive but acceptable.
We used the £35 for 3 courses. The bill, with 3 glasses of wine between 2 at £14 each plus 3 side dishes and a bottle of water WITHOUT rolls. Plus £14 upgrade for 1 x fillet steak( excellent meat) came to £175 including their already applied 12.5% service charge. I paid £160
This is excessive!! You need side dishes and if it were say£45 inclusive plus wine etc then that would have been say £135 plus tip. That would have been a sensible price.
The service was reasonable and affable but one of the waiter wore his Covid mask without converting his nose until I insisted. That was totally unacceptable.
We know lots of good restaurants in London and I would not be keen to go back to Aqua Shard.
For lunch or dinner Oblisk, whilst more expensive unless they have specials, is justifiable and certainly orders better.
We dined at Aqua on Monday 26th Oct celebrating our wedding anniversary and loved every minute of the experience. We arrived early to catch the sunset over london and sat in the bar area, which overlooks the City. For dinner, we moved the west facing dining area. The staff were absolutley lovely, especially Sadia our waitress. When the main course arived, my wie asked for the lamb to be cooked a bit more (as that's how she likes it) and the manager, Alessio, was only too happy to oblige. he even offered to take bothe dishes back, so we could eat at the same time, and even brought back fresh side veg.
I was initially reluctant to book Aqua as I suspected the resturant would trdae more on its views rather than food and service, so I was happily proven wrong. This is a real dining treat and we would def recommend to others.
Thanks Sadia, Alessio and the team at Aqua for a wonderfully memorable night.
Stunning location. Amazing Ambience. Food, not so good tbh, definitely not worth it the final price
Amazing food and views - an evening we will not forget!
Only downside was it was almost pitch black so we could barely see the lovely food - understandably to see the view but was a bit excessive. Would recommend going in the day instead and maybe for drinks at night.
If you want fine dining with a view definitely this is a choice.
The staff were incredibly friendly and gave us a wonderful time.
The restaurant is on the 31st floor of the Shard with its own lift. The views are better than other skyscrapers as it doesn’t have other buildings right next to it.
The staff were amazing from the start. Very warm and made a point of picking up it was my Dad’s birthday.
We had a table right against the glass with wonderful views. We had the market lunch 3 courses for £34 which was so reasonable. The chicken and skate were delicious. Lemon posset for dessert was nice and tangy and they bought out a little extra dessert with “Happy Birthday” for my dad. Our waiters were the right amount of attentive without being annoying and we felt looked after. The toilets were cool!
Can’t wait to come back! Thank you Aqua!
It’s COVID times so was kind of expected. Only real disappointment was temperature of the food. Otherwise delicious
Aqua Shard - great place to have lunch with fantastic views of London.
Food was delicious and service was excellant. Paolo - the manager took care of my request and was an enjoyabloe experience. Will definitely visit again.
Portion sizes were tiny. Food was not hot and drink not cold. Disappointing.
Good quality food with great flavour. Absolutely wonderful staff. Views and environment exceeded our expectations - we were also very lucky the weather was nice and clear. Complimentary birthday treat was a nice surprise.
It was an excellent meal, but I thought a £17 supplement for the fillet steak was a lot. It should be much cheaper, or don't include on the lunch deal.
Excellent service, thank you Farhad. Superb food. Outstanding views. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
Great place, all seats have excellent views. Lovely food...
Staff excellent too...
Amazing, attentive, professional, amazing and good food.
Service was poor for where it was. Food was ok, but incredibly small portions, so not great in terms of value for money...
Great Brunch but you must book before 12 to get the full breakfast !
Amazing food. Incredible service. Beautiful views
The location itself is stunning with panoramic views across London. The staff were very attentive and quick to respond. The menu itself was very limited. The ravioli was as described. One piece of Ravioli. My biggest gripe would be the wine. A glass of house red. Should be renamed a sip of house red £12. Overall the food was really nice. Waiter / waitress very good and the view was perfect. I would recommend the side dish of mash potato as it's bigger than the mains. Next time we go that's what we are ordering. Just two mash for our mains.
We enjoyed this very much, food was delicious and service was incredible. Would recommend for a special occasion. There is probably a premium added to the price for the great view.
Lovely food with the city skyline as a backdrop!!!
Great food, small portions. £49 for a 250g fillet steak is not acceptable. Asked to move to a window table when available - request not met despite window table becoming available. Aqua will remain a second choice unfortunately.
Birthday celebration, gave two sparkling wines and a small dessert. Great views and service, very attentive. Prices are high though for the quality but paying for the view.
Awesome experience for my parents . New starters please
Main dish beef was very cold, potato was very salty, I didn't enjoy the dinner, i spent over £140 don't worth it!!!
It was a lovely experience
