   Great food in a beautiful location. I had the Bang Bang New England Cod. My dining companion had the Shrimp Scampi, both were amazing.

   I’ve know Aqua Grill was there for so many years but have never been for whatever reason. Went for an early dinner before a concert… it was during the end of their Sunday fun day. We ate inside, while the band was outside but every 20 seconds, the patio door was opened and the noise was so loud you froze because it was so jarring. We had a charcuterie plate to start, which had a sad only 2 cheeses (blue and a rubbery grocery store quality cheddar), paired with grocery store Pepperidge farm entertaining pack crackers. Very low quality. We shared a $44 Flounder special entree with risotto. The food was good, but their handling of a shared entree was to give me an empty plate to scrape half of it onto. For all the history of this restaurant, it definitely did not impress me at all. I’ll stick with Eleven South for very similar menu choices, better atmosphere, service and quality of food.

   Solid choice. Nice room though a little loud when full. Service prompt and pleasant. Food very good. Staff very accommodating when we had to adjust our reservation last minute due to a few of our party getting covid.

   Walking through the door we were greeted with smiles and were sat immediately. Our server arrived and poured water with barley a greeting, no introduction and disappeared. I watched her walk by our table on 3 diff occasions. We were about to call for the manager when Rhett came to the rescue. He must have seen the looks on our faces because he immediately asked if we had been helped. Once we said no, he introduced himself and it was all fantastic from there. He took his time, explained the specials and catered to our 5yo. We made a point to let him know he saved the night. Our initial server showed up a few times to ask if we needed something coincidentally right after Rhett had come by and made sure we were taken care of. The food was fantastic across the board. Unfortunately I don't know our original servers name because she never told us. We all have bad days at work. Maybe this was hers… Would definitely go back again thanks to Rhett

   Lunch on the patio. Mia was a great waitress - attentive, efficient and personable. The manager ensured we were taken care of, love that! Hostess seated us promptly. Had Caesar salad, added blackened chicken and Gulia pasta dish adding Mayport shrimp. Another memorable experience. Thanks!

    Good food, ambiance and server. Odd to keep the front door locked after 11:30am with people waiting. Hostess on the phone and ignoring the group that just walked in the door....just odd and unwelcoming.

    Simply put, this is one of the top restaurants in the entire Jacksonville, Atlantic Beach, Pointe Vedra Beach area. I have live here for years and it’s tops. My father had chicken Piccata that was better than most Italian restaurants and I had the Vidalia Crusted Flounder, outstanding! With lobster risotto (big chunks of lobster!) paired with South Carolina peach chutney. Cooked perfectly and a large filet of fish. Service is impeccable, as ALWAYS. Never had a bad meal there in over a dozen times! Enjoy!

    Very nice window views of the lake/fountain. Interior decor is also nice. Professional staff at the door and the table. Food was very good from fresh fish to short ribs. Deserts were good as well. Plenty of parking. Reservations are a good idea.

    What had been a very looked-forward-to experience was marred by horrendously glacial service from a young lady who seemed to so enjoy chatting it up with every table that she gave us scant attention. So much so that the other servers whom we’d grabbed on the fly started showing their own frustration. And so much so that, entree-less a full hour after our early (5:30 pm) arrival, we paid our bill for drinks and starters and left. The wonderful hostess apologized and made an adjustment, a nice and professional gesture. The now-aghast server had the gall to try to “aplogize for the kitchen,” when it was she alone who’d demonstrated egregious incompetence,

    Terrible experience. We ordered from the bar menu a burger and a pork sandwich, we waited like 45 min, it seemed they forgot our order. When we got it, we got the wrong order, the burger was completely burn. When we for the pork sandwich, the bacon was also burnt. Overall a very bad experience

    Mussels Clams Spinach and Bottle of wine all very god with excellent staff… a little early so ate at the bar. Chowder mostly heavy cream and would do good to read that and just order appetizers or the fish like I did before. Food is usually very good little increasing in price like all items but you bet I will be back.

    We ate there twice in a week and both times it took 1 HOUR from the time we gave them our order until it was served. One night 4 people sat down 20 minutes after we did and got their meal 30 min before ours. The next time, a couple sat down 30 min after we did and got their meal 20 minutes before us. Then after all that the Whole Snapper came out partially raw. The waiter never came by after serving our entre and just shrugged until I demanded to have it removed from the bill.

    Had a great meal, as usual. Tried the mussels this time. Absolutely outstanding. Had the white wine sampling trio & flan for dessert. Must also remark that Tessa was a great waitress.

    We wanted to start the weekend with a good time and this hit all the notes! We arrived early and had a lovely greeting at the hostess stand. We had time for a cocktail at the bar. We were then seated before our scheduled reservation time at a lovey quiet table on the patio. Amber was our server and she was terrific.

    Overall, we had a very good time and loved the food. But before one, the shrimp that you have to peel, yourself is one of the messiest meals I’ve ever eaten. The shrimp was wonderful, but it was a mess. And the wine was a little stingy, a house wine, pour. Devon was delightful!

    We came in today for our 2nd time. The food is always great. Sergio our waiter was amazing and took great care of all our needs. We wanted to substitute our Angel hair pasta for risotto, Chef Chris not only accommodated us he blew us away, the food was AMAZING!!!!

    Had reservations for Valentine’s Day. Got seated immediately and my server came to the table fairly quickly. Sat inside and it was a good atmosphere, classy yet casual, perfect for both occasions. The food selection was slim but everything was good from the appetizer, wine to the entree. Server seemed to be a little disinterested but majority of the staff was friendly and inviting.

    Very disappointed in our visit. Waiter was very matter-of-fact, zero personality, and did the very minimum he had to do to drop off food, clear plates and hand us the check. Food seems to have gone down in quality from the last time we had been, which was at least two years ago. I had a sea bass special, which was not at all what I had expected from the menu description. Who would ever wrap a beautiful piece of sea bass into a filo pita-style pocket? It was served with mashed potatoes that had the consistency of elementary school paste - very dry. Had oysters rockefeller appetizer and they were small and dry, and only came with 4 to the order. I believe you used to get more. Needless to say, we will not be in any hurry to get back. Very sad but true.

    We went there for our Valentine’s Day dinner. And we ordered red snapper and the trout, foods was still hot while we were eating. So fresh and delicious. We enjoyed it our experience there. Thanks to the chefs!!!!
