I greatly enjoyed the Indian cuisine. The lamb chop, chicken and shrimp combo was delicious. Don't miss the sticky toffee pudding dessert!
Overall solid restaurant Indian restaurant in St. Lucia. Would have liked to see more fusion type dishes. Goat curry was very good, rest was unmemorable. Drive is a bit tough, but worth it for the adventurous.
getting to this restaurant is an adventure. It is accessed (along with the very high end resort with which it is associated) by an almost impassible road (I haven't seen such demolished roads since Costa Rica). At the end, however, is a beautiful and delightful restaurant. The food was wonderfully prepared, beautifully presented and offered in a truly lovely setting. The best dining experience we had in St. Lucia.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The service was impeccable, the servers went out of their way to accommodate our requests for vegan choices and I asked for no chili on my fish. The atmosphere is tropically romantic being open-air, beachfront and softly lit. My husband enjoyed the Caribbean Goad Vindaloo which was rich and flavorful, my Tikhi Jhingli Machli (catch of day) was cooked perfectly - moist and tender fish, our son loved the Jugal Bandhi (lamb chop, prawn and cajun tandoori chicken - a little kick from the spices but in no way overwhelming the flavors of the meat and our daughter, who is vegan, enjoyed the Gobhi Aloo (cauliflower and potato) and the Subz Ke Samose which the server conferred with the chef to be sure it was prepared vegan for our daughter. All-in-all one of our best meals on the island.
Apsara was a last minute change of plans after canceling a reservation in Castries for a closer venue to our hotel in Soufiere. What a delightful decision it was! We were warned of the rough road to Anse Chastanet but well worth the bumps. My boyfriend and I both had a mixed plate of lamb loin, prawns and kingfish. Absolutely perfectly execution. The naan was delicious as well. Even though we arrived well after the saught after sunset views, it was still lovely to sit at the lapping water's edge and the glow of the moonlight. A perfect evening all around! Thank you!
The food was not near the taste of a Indian cusine, we had dinner at masala bay night before. Masala bay food was authentic and great flavor. The owner and chef talk to us about our preference and tailored the food according to our liking. At apsara the chef and the kitchen owner for the Indian cusine was present, she did introduce herself to guest, but not us as they were only 3 table booked. So I guess there was enough time to meet.
About the food, I would 100percent not recommend due to the taste of the cusine. The hotel location was great, I think and it's true the resort rents the kitchen to Anita the manager of the apsara restaurant for the Indian cusine. I have personally drived from soufere to Marigot bay just got the masala bay food.
Actually we drove to masala bay frist and next day we had dinner at apsara at jade mountain. They seriously need to look at the taste
Wanted to try some Indian food and this one is pretty good. The mood was just perfect and was very romantic. The ambience was perfect. Nice one!
