A delightful evening (a table for 4) celebrating a birthday. Highly recommended - efficient and kind staff, especially given the restrictions of lockdown.

Food and service was amazing. We had oysters and mussels for staters followed by Tuna and sea bass.

The service was really good at Applebee's , staff was very attentive. Food was excellent!

Who serve was quite forceful for us to order 2 other dishes after we have ordered seafood platter .

I have to ask her several times why but only insisting that we do. aShe said the platter was for two person. But didn’t wait till I asked her to check first if it’s ok not to. She came back to say that we don’t have too in the end without any apologies.

The food was good but felt it was overpriced especially with just a bowl of chips and salad .

Although the food was really tasty, the portions were very small.
Especially dishes such as the crustinis, sides of spinach and truffle mash. If they were bigger I think it would feel like better value. These were all so small that it felt very expensive.
The service, quality of food and the ambience was great though!

We were stuck in traffic on Saturday but the lovely hospitable staff kept our table and they are so lovely and the food is always amazing, it was worth the wait of getting a table for our first meal out since lockdown

I was really looking forward to dining out, I found the service very poor with staff forgetting orders. The cocktails were watered down and although I loved the main course, I won’t be visiting the restaurant again.

They were very nice and accommodating at the restaurant with the chance in our group size and when we requested to be closer to heating. The food was excellent. Highly recommended

Ended up in the overflow section outside. It was still lovely, although chilly even with the heater. Overall a very lovely experience.

Excellent meal and friendly, attentive staff. Sophisticated menu but not pretentious - just be aware you’re paying zone 1 prices - but it is worth it for the food and the experience.

Great service from friendly staff food was excellent as usual at reasonable price I had cod and chips for £15 great value. Wine from £25 ipa and lager at £5.75 per pint.
Only fault is there is only one toilet cubical so long wait to use it.

Really great food, highly recommend the cod main dish with samphire which was delicious.

There was a long wait between the bread and the starters and we were sat by the door which didn’t fully close so occasionally got a cold draught. However, it was a really enjoyable evening overall and when the food came out it was brilliant.

Rushed through each course and as starters were finished the main was put down, with no opportunity to have a break. Shortly after finishing the main, we were advised our table had been booked for the next sitting and we needed to move outside. 10 minutes later we were asked to move again to a place that was not heated and was cold. Not what I consider good service when you’re spending £100pp with drinks. Food was delicious and spot on, but considering the change of environment of hospitality restrictions, it felt they were overbooked and rushing customers.

Service was poor when the restaurant was not at all busy. Our main courses arrived 45 minutes after our starters and we were charged for a creme brûlée when neither of us had a dessert.

I would not recommend visiting during a busy time, but the food was great.

Great place, really cosy with the heaters, and really friendly service. I changed my booking elsewhere a few days later to go back.

Always a lovely culinary experience. Try the Pork and Scallops dish to be really blown away as either a starter or a main!

The restaurant needs to do something about the temperature, it was very cold. When we asked we were told, the heating isn't powerful enough to keep the place warm. They eventually moved us and brought a heater. Other than that, the food was nice!
