The best sea bass I have ever had….and for being land locked, is saying something. My wife had the vegetarian option and was thrilled with flavor and texture. A special meal

The food was excellent! This was our third time dinning here and were very satisfied each time. Quality food from the appetizers, entries and desserts. Very nice selection of wines. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the wine selection and all the food. We are looking forward to our next visit to Palo Verde.

This was our first visit after a long travel day escaping the northern winter and it was a truly nice experience. Pleasant and helpful staff, food prepared as asked, nicely paced service since we were dealing with a three hour time difference and looking forward to getting back to our rental house for the night. Being able to eat outside in a nice location did not hurt.

The setting is very nice. However, the service was less than stellar. It took forever for the waitress to bring everything out (drinks, appetizers, main, and even the check). We were constantly requesting someone get our waitress. Over an hour after being seated, I had to seek out our waitress to inquire where our main courses were. Less than a minute after that they delivered our meals. It was obvious that our dishes had been sitting under a heat lamp. The food was very dry. When we finally received the check, we were not asked how everything was with our food. I offered that the chicken was very dry. There was no reaction whatsoever from the waitress. BTW, the restaurant was not overly crowded. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and hoped for a better experience.

Wonderful food in a serene desert setting. Service was great and very considerate but a bit slow. Overall a great dining experience!

For a resort brunch, prices are a bit high for the quality. Ambience is great except the plates left on tables and the birds by the dozen flew in and ate every thing remaining on the plates. Kind of gross to watch and can't be great for the birds eating syrup and spicy egg dishes. Birds were so out of control they knocked over the syrup that was left on table. Syrup then dripped down onto the floor. No staff saw any urgency to remove dishware. Resort experience should be better than this.

The restaurant needs a re-fresh. The decor is outdated. We were seated on the patio and the servers made very little effort to promptly clean tables. The birds were all over the tables eating food and being a nuisance. The worst part is that after birds rummaged through the food, the tables were not wiped down and sanitized. It made me not want to touch my table. Very disappointing for a restaurant at the Boulders .

Reserved for Valentine's Day. Placed our cocktail order. 10 minutes later, having not yet received our cocktails, the waiter asked if we'd like to place our order. I told him that we'd wait for the cocktails. 28 minutes after we ordered the cocktails I went to the hostess desk. rather quickly a waitress came to the table. She said that our drink order had never made it to the bar (she knew because she was also a bartender that evening) so she took the order and quickly brought our drinks. The manager made a couple of trips to the table to apologize. Then it came to time to order wine for dinner I said that for the dessert we'd like their tawny port but I asked the waitress to see if there was less than less than a glass or two of wine in the bottle of port (we're not interested in wine that's been opened weeks ago). She returned to say there was just enough for two glasses. The manager was there at that moment and said he'd be happy to open a new bottle for us only to return a few minutes later to say they didn't have another bottle to open. So we ordered a bottle of red wine from the VERY average wine list. It was a horrible experience from the outset but the waitress who replaced our waiter was excellent and the service recovery efforts were very well-intentioned and sincere but being essentially out of one of the only two dessert wines on their wine list was rather inconceivable. Overall an experience we would not ever look forward to repeating but thanks for the recovery efforts.

Terrible Valentines dinner. They set up portable cocktail tables with table clothes in a meeting room that smelled like a gym room - gross. They then served our bottle of Pinot Noir in Chardonnay glasses. The Sea bass was soaked, I mean soaked/drenched in butter. Plus the had the arrogance to demand an up front deposit. Finally the valet driver couldn't figure out how to open the car door to get out. He ultimately got it. I can highly NOT recommend this place.
