   I made the reservation for 7ppl on OpenTable website. And I event got an email confirmation the day before. When we arrive the hostess said they do not have the reservation. When I showed her my email confirmation from Open Table she said "Open Table does work for us". Huh??? Thankfully they still was able to seat my party of 7. However, our waitress was very cold and detached. I ordered coffee that just never came. There are so many other restaurants that offer better food and service. I will not return to this place.

   This was not too far from Radio City Music Hall - 10 minute walk. We go every year to the show and like to have lunch right after the show. This was very convenient. Food was good. Nice atmosphere. We will have to try the pizza next time.

   Great pizza, great service, nice crowd. It was a little noisy, otherwise a great meal!

   Maybe we hit this spot on an off day. Not sure why the rating is so high. It was raining outside, so we stepped in 8 minutes before our 11:30am reservation to be told we couldn't stand inside because they weren't yet open. When I asked if they wanted us to wait in the rain, the hostess said, "I guess you can stand in the bar area." Once we were sat, the service went up from there, but it wasn't friendly or engaging. Margherita pizza was delicious, but way overpriced for what it was. We were the only people there for the first half an hour or so, but waited for drinks to be refilled and food took a long time. We'll spend our money elsewhere next time we're in NYC.

   The service was lacking. The restaurant was not overly packed yet it took forever and the server had a hard time with my allergy. Overall we like the restaurant and will continue to go back but it wasn't a pleasant experience.

   My wife and I had a lovely relaxed al fresco evening meal at Aperitivo. We shared a small buffalo pie and Nutella pizza that we couldn't finish, although a couple with a hearty appetite could probably share a large pie with no other courses. The pizza was excellent, service attentive but not over the top and sitting outside was great - far enough away from the road to afford easy conversation and with the bonus of great views of the city around you.

   Recommend the thin crust pizza. We ordered a large and small Margharita pizza. Consider the large pricey at $27. Reasonable price beer. Great for outdoor seating.

    AperTivo was located across the street from our hotel. We ate an early dinner so the restaurant was very quiet. The wait staff was attentive and the food was quite good with the exception of the chocolate lava cake.
