Anzio's Brick Oven Pizza
Anzio’s has become our “go to” restaurant. The food is excellent and always reliable. The service is fantastic. The wait staff is always so pleasant, helpful and efficient.
We had a large combo Sienna and Roasted Veggie brickoven pizza and it was delicious--possibly the best pizza I've had in years. The draft IPA recommended by the owner was fresh and the prices were very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning.
Xavier was friendly, attentive, well- informed and available when we had needs. We were a group carboing down for the marathon from all over the country. People recommended you, and we were not disappointed. Even the next morning breakfast pizza was great. Thanks for a great experience.
I got the new dish shrimp primavera. It was excellent and had many large sized shrimp.
Best crust around, the wine and cheese shop in the same building is also great to shop for speciality items
The crux of the problem was that no one from the restaurant checked the OpenTAble app, so when we got there we did not have a reservation for 7pm that night. This was despite my making the reservation through your app at 625AM. Some accomodation was made, but no real apology and a weak explanation that the person that checks OpenTable did not work that day. Please don't print this. The food was very good and the service after the snafu was acceptable.
Anzio’s serves great pizza and a good gathering spot. The pizza isn’t your typical greasy pizza, it’s more like gourmet pizza.
Lasagna and the pasta with short rib was delicious. Service was good. Can't wait to try their pizza next time. Was busy on a Friday night at 7:30 pm. Cozy place but make reservations as tables are limited. Recommend going early and check their hours before hand. Wished they close a little later like 10pm on Friday and Saturdays.
Always good food good service and well priced.
Always great food,
Great pizza and entrees as well. And they heat and cool with a Mitsubishi Electric system. Thank you.
Always wonderful and delicious
It was freezing cold inside the restaurant even with winter coats on! We should have just sat outside. The food was okay, but I was expecting more based on the reviews.
Great antipasto and pizza. Pleasant server. A choice of craft beers. Definitely a good choice for a nice dinner with friends. Glad we made a reservation as it was very busy.
Excellent as always! Never disappoints
The pizza was excellent and the service was friendly and quick! The restaurant seems to be popular for takeout as well. There's a bar area where you can have a drink while you wait.
Pizza was quite good, as was salad. Disappointed that they were out of certain things on the menu early on in the evening, but found suitable replacements. A better variety of beers on tap would have been great. Next time I stop by I will check out the wine list. We live a few hrs away but have been traveling through Grafton recently, this was a great find for comfort meal with plenty of leftover pizza for later. 2 large pizzas for 3 people was perfect!
Great Pizza and atmosphere. Absolutely a “do over”!
It was our first time at Anzio's. The food was fantastic. We ordered a pizza and sandwiches. It was an authentic brick oven. It added such a great flavor. Taylor, our server, was excellent. She always made sure we had everything we needed. We definitely will go back even though it's over 45 minutes from our home.
Food was very good, service excellent. Comfort food at it's best. Definately will be back
Everything is made fresh and delicious, great pizza!
Pizza was excellent. Crust just the right mix of crispy and chewy. Casual and cozy atmosphere. Would recommend.
I had a gluten free pizza that was delicious, everyone in the party enjoyed their meals also. The waitress was very nice and helpful, the atmosphere was beautiful. Very enjoyable, thank you!
We saw the Phantom Gourmet review - and they were right!! The chicken and veal Parmesan dishes were tremendous!
The portions were just right - we left feeling full but not in need of assistance to the car!
Father's Day lunch was very tasty, and very reasonable. Quiet place at noon on Sundays, except for the many take out customers. Service was excellent in spite of short staffing.
I work at North Grafton Elementary School and it is the best place to go after work with friends. I would highly recommend this as the go to place in town.
One of the best veal marsalas I’ve ever had and the kids love the pizza.
Great experience highly recommend
I've been once with my daughter - loved it. Took my husband there - he of course, loved it. Went for salad, pizza and glasses of wine. Pizza is thin crust and cooked perfectly. Not overdone, not underdone, perfect crust. Cheese, sauce and topping ratio - perfect. I highly recommend it!
Great food all around. Service personable and quick. Love eating here with my wife.
Food was good, Service was fine but the next time I go, I will not take a seat in the bar. Very noisy. Two TVs going, some loud people at another table, six or seven women behind the bar chattering, loud noise coming from the kitchen (the sound of meat being pounded?). It wasn’t a relaxing environment. Next time I’ll insist on a table in the “big” room.
Great pizza, thin crisp crust, toppings very focused on individual flavors. Service excellent and did not hurry us.
We're newish regulars here. Generally very good, especially salads & pizza. Last time in, we brought friends and have to report that the pizza was disappointing. Undercooked, bordering on doughy, and over-topped. But in the restaurant's defense, it was pretty busy and I'm sure the pizza oven was jammed full. Not giving up on Anzio's - we'll just ask for pizza a bit on the crispy side next time around.
AWSOME people and AWSOME food
We had a great meal! Nice wine selection. Great meal selections and not over priced. Can bring a business group here and enjoy excellent meals and be able to have intimate conversations. Our sever was attentive and handled all our requests with pleasure.
It was a Tuesday evening and was not busy. The food was good and we had a great server!
Our first time here but definitely not our last. Pizza is awesome! Worth the half hour drive to get there.
Food as always was great , however, usual stellar service was very disappointing. Waitress did not know simple questions on menu and told my wife she could substitute the pasta, then brought the wrong one. A number of other issues.
The food and service is always very good.
I have always had a positive experience at Anzio's but my last visit there, to celebrate my birthday with my husband, felt like a near disaster. Our wine was sour, the server refused to refund our wine despite the fact, and our salmon seemed like it had been boiled. For dessert I ordered a chocolate chip cannoli but instead was delivered a cannoli ontop of a puddle of chocolate syrup. Typically I would overlook such an off-beat experience but this was so terrible from the very beginning to the end, it's hard too.
