Recommended by business associate. Did not live up to his expectations. Very disappointed in food. If this is supposed to be NY Italian then I’ll pass.
I had stuffed calamari not very good. Couldn’t even taste stuffing and sauce was a brown sauce overpowered with beans and very little taste of the sea.
My csvatelli was pasty and dry. In fact all our pasta dishes were dry. We had to ask for more sauce which never came. Would not ever go back.
Creative and delicious food. Many light and healthy options. The only complaint is that they do not offer Aqua Pana or any other Italian bottled water. They are one of the many NYC restaurants that sell their own NYC filtered water.
We had a great time dining here! Staff was very attentive and had great recommendations for us. Try the tiramisu!
Went there for lunch with my wife and 3-year child. We sat at the terrace as the weather was lovely. Service was very good and food was decent. A bit on the pricey side but overall very satisfied.
I asked for a corner table but they didn't produce. Still was quite pleasant and enjoyable, as always. My only other gripe is that they rushed us on a relatively slow Sunday night in August.
Amazing food and service! I love this restaurant!!! So much that I canceled a reservation to a different restaurant so I could eat here twice on my last visit to NYC
Beware of pricing: the website prices are half of what it really costs. Food is ok; ambience is very nice!
Great to have such a cool restaurant in the neighborhood. The vibe is fastastic.... sophisticated and cool/hip. Pasta is fantastic as are most of the other dishes. Large menu. Service polite and professional. Great marirtinis.
We look forward to coming here frequently. Best place on Upper east side.
Great place, great food, great service. Space is tight but understandable because everyone wants to go! Eggplant parm is delish!
Returned after a long absence, we started with stuffed Calamari (very good) my wife had Amattriciana that she said she enjoyed (I tasted it and felt the smoky flavor overpowered the dish from one forkful it repeated on me for the remainder of the evening!) I had Veal Ragu that was bland and disappointing. Between the food, service, and prices, I'd much rather spend the time and cab fare going to Lupa!
Menu very creative.
service well paced.
Would go back again. Everything was prepared with care, flavors were good, service was fine. pumpkin tortelli was good, but not quite satisfying... Just short of what I was hoping for.
Truly a very special restaurant. Cozy but vibrant, this is an amazing neighborhood find that really knocks the cover off the ball in terms of food quality. I would highly recommend it!
The food is great, some items even amazing. The owner is very attentive and watches the floor for the slightest hint of a customer need. The restaurant itself is very small and the tables are close together. The wine we had was delicious! It is a wonderful Italian restaurant and we like to relax and enjoy the experience.
Not your typical neighborhood Italian restaurant. Their regular menu and specials give an interesting choice of what turned out to be sophisticated and very good food. Of course, you pay for this. However given the numerous restaurants in their price range, many of which dispense mediocre food, you will do well here.
Service is professionl. The dining room is small and fills up early. Good wine list.
Food is excellent. Spaghetti and meatballs are outstanding. Also, the fried zucchini flower is wonderful for an appetizer.
A great italian restaurant. You actually feel that you are almost in Italy.
The menu is basic but there are plenty of specials and the food is great. The homemade pastas are outstanding! Nice place for a business lunch where the noise level is low and you can have a conversation without distraction.
Cozy Italian - simple, good food, well prepared, comfortable tables, nice staff. Always busy, book early, come hungry.
Never disappointed. Excellent food and service.
Best Duck Ravioli. Always incredible food. Great Service.
Consistently delicious. Lamb shank extraordinary as was pear salad and coffee granita.
get the meatballs! do not pass them up!
My favorite place to go for Italian and one of NYC's best best friends, small, charming, fabulous beyond, love the food, imaginative, good, big menu, go go go, super always! even the Tiramus was worth eating!
We decided to celebrate father's day at Antonucci's and it was the best choice. The main course takes a little longer to arrive if you don't order starters, but it was worth the wait. Everything was fresh and delicious. Best roasted chicken ever. We will most definitely be back and bring friends.
We had a long wonderful lunch here. Food was delicious as always. Service wonderful and we sat and chatted and visited for 2 hours. No one bothered us, and of course no one was waiting so they told us to stay as long as we want to. Can;t wait to return everything homemade.
Our first time to fine here for lunch and pleasantly thrilled. Nice menu and a but quieter.
Same great service and delicious food.
Wonderful meal, and excellent service. I had the lamb shank, it was tender and delicious. Our first time there and will visit again soon. Service was professional and considerate .
Another wonderful evening! We enjoyed the food and the vitello tonnato is among the best we've tasted. The wine list is varied and friendly to all price ranges.
One of the most delightful experiences to have is dining at Antonucci's. The soft shell crabs were outstanding and the kale salad delicious. Both of our pasta dishes were memorable(I'll dream of my lamb ragu). Their wine list offers a wonderful selection at in all price points. Love their decor!
Genuine authentic style Italian dining on The Upper East Side, very fresh flavors and great style.
Food was delicious. Service great. Wonderful place. We have eaten there twice. Both times indoors. Atmosphere delightful. Thank you
Over the years, we have never had a less than good meal here, and last night's was even better than usual.
Except that a woman knocked Andrew's beer over while getting into her seat. His clothes were not affected, but that side of the table, his portion of the octopus carpaccio, and the banquette were completely inundated.
They gave him another beer, as they should have. But they were "out" of the octopus, and offered him no substitute. Nor did they halve the price of the octopus, which he had not even started to eat. He told me not to object, but I call this strange.
All that said, my beef agnolotti was superb, and Andrew agreed about his duck ravioli.
Our salads too.
Lovely spot with good food and nice service. Would definitely return.
Delicious food, excellent service. UES pricing (expensive for a rather simple meal)
We love this restaurant. We had a great time, excellent food and attentive service. It is always consistently excellent.
homemade pastas a treat, baby artichokes with parsley pesto excellent
It's been a while since I've had lunch here, but it has held up very well and the menu
is more interesting than it was.
It's a great place and wonderfully quiet at lunch.
food consistently good space alittle tight always return and bring others
Interesting and varied menu plus a broad wine list. Service was outstanding. Relaxed ambiance of an upscale bistro in Paris.
