New Year's Eve Special Menus & Offers
We are offering a four-course special menu for $100 per person. There is no a la carte option.
Their house-made sourdough bread is worth the trip alone. I personally always order the chicken liver because it's some of the best I've ever had. My vegetarian husband is happy with the option of the Impossible Burger and all our other table mates were equally pleased. One had the hanger steak. We'll be back!
We had been to Anton’s pre-Covid and loved our dinner. A very gracious older woman explained how they had a very old and treasured bread starter which made their bread so incredible. We excitedly made reservations in this return trip to be very disappointed. The special bread no longer existed and the rest of the meal was pedestrian at best. Eggless were the same on both entrees, a weak blend of tasteless string beans and carrots. We have to assume with the additional pizza and burger choices on the menu that they combined the bar and dining room menus together which see,es to have effected the upscale dining atmosphere and cooking. Maybe it is a different chef. We would definitely not return again. Try Brian’s for a really good meal in town instead. Or just go for drinks at the bar at the Swan .
Good food and drinks are to be found at this nice historic hotel/ restaurant in beautiful downtown Lambertville. Their Chicken with Spätzle entree' is quite fine .
Beyond perfect. Amazing food and service.
Setting is beautiful. Server was very nice. But food is more for the bar area than great dining. Lots of white pizza and hamburgers. My swordfish was soft and the pasta side was basic. My wife was disappointed in her chicken pesto dish. Said it was watery. Pear salad was good but too much dressing. Very good sour dough bread could be warmed.
We’ve eaten in bar many times and when we return will stick to pizza and other bar type offerings.
Aileen was our waitress and she was excellent!! Food was amazing, service was on point, absolutely no complaints. Such a cute restaurant, and honestly hit every single point on my score card :)
Haven't been to Anton's in over a year, not having gone last year because of COVID. Usually give high rating across the board, but this time there were a few issues, mainly food-related. My dinner was excellent - Grigg's (I think) Chicken. My favorite dish was taken off the menu after many years (Filet Mignon). Server said it was because of the price of meat. Ok, I get it. My partner's steak was very tough - she said it tasted like a London broil (tougher cut) instead of a flank steak. The appetizers were great (risotto and a pear salad). The dessert (lava cake/ice cream) was quite small, but tasty. The wine, drinks, and coffee were all good. Ambiance and waitresses were excellent. That's it. Overall, definitely will go back and highly recommend.
This was the third time in about six months we dined there. This was the first mediocre meal. I had the pork chop and truffle mashed potatoes and vegetables. Wife had the cod. My veggies were cold, the potatoes had but a very faint truffle taste and the cod was blah. Grilled chop was excellent and as before all else was superb. I really like this restaurant and will return. The staff are wonderful also.
Great! The food was great and the atmosphere was really laid back and relaxing
Wife’s birthday with friends. 7 people. Private room. Excellent service and excellent food. We will go back! Really cool place.
Perfect service, food, wine and ambience.
Lovely historic establishment. Entrees were creative and tasty, but nothing exceptional. Waitstaff was attentive and personable.
Delicious food and wonderful service. The atmosphere was very cozy—loved having Ella Fitzgerald playing in the background!
Black pepper ice cream was out of this world- unique and different but fabulous. Great overall experience.
Amazing meal, ambience and service.
Service was great, the ambiance was lovely. Cocktail and butternut squash risotto app were fantastic. Entrees were not great. Grilled chicken was so char grilled that it tasted bitter.
Beautiful setting, Wonderful service, Great Food.
Well worth the money
We were the only people eating in this awesome old setting. The waitress was terrific and so was the good. I’ll go back again.
We were there for our anniversary and we were very disappointed at the lack of dinner choices. Appetizers were minimal. The hamburgers we ended up having were very good and perfectly cooked to our liking. We felt that for $90 we should have had something more than ground beef.
Food and service was top notch. We have found our new favorite place.
The entire experience was lovely. The space is quaint, the food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. Look forward to a repeat visit.
We had a delightful evening at Anton's at the Swan. The setting is delightful, the service most professional and the food is amazing!
As always a fantastic dining experience. One of the best in our area. Drink menu is great, lovely wines and beers offered as well. Food was sublime. Seriously delicious. Just a perfect night out all around! You can’t miss at the Swan. GREAT bar too.
Another great evening at Anton’s. Food and service were good, as always.
ANC the upstairs dining space was lovely.
Menu was unusual and limited but Hailbut was good. Expresso martini excellent.
Great restaurant. Get there early for a drink in the gorgeous bar area.
The food was so good it made me emotional. I cannot recommend Anton's at the Swan more. Go. Go. And go again.
We had another amazing evening at Anton's at the Swan in Lambertville, NJ. The food was amazing, the service was attentive and professional and the setting is perfect!
The sweet corn soup itself is a reason to go.
Whilst the menu hadn't changed too much from a month ago, I had an outstanding combination of three starters. The purée of corn soup (good but not special), the chicken liver pâté (always excellent), and one of the best small pasta dishes that I can remember for a long time: angel hair pasta, smoked salmon, and walnuts in a rich cream sauce. A couple of glasses of wine from the small, but thoughtful, by the glass menu enhanced everything.
Excellent service and excellent food. 10/10 would recommend.
From the moment Rachael greeted us at the table, the entire night was a great experience. Her service was prompt and professional without being obsequious and our food was perfectly served and prepared.
Top to bottom, the approximately $100 per diner was money well spent. Would do so again, without hesitation.
Great & very fresh food. Simplistic yet elegant. Nice atmosphere - dined upstairs this time - bright pleasant surroundings. Tremendous service - Rachael is just wonderful & professional. A go to place for years - although covid has forced some reductions to the menu still that go to place. Highly recommend. AAA+++
My husband and I purchased a gift cert for Anton’s last year and finally got to go this evening, to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. The food was simply delicious!! The service was fantastic and the ambiance was perfect!
Perfect setting, service, food and wine selection.
Such a lovely quaint place with ton of old charm character and a bar that reminds me of an English pub
Wow! We have not visited the Swan in quite some time and we are glad to have returned! We had an early reservation at 5:30 PM on a Friday evening and, as we were about 10 minutes early, we were greeted by Aileen and escorted to our beautiful window table upstairs. It was quiet and peaceful. Rachel, our server, welcomed us and took our drink order. We had the dining room to ourselves and just enjoyed many of the historical prints of George Washington hanging on the walls and the beautiful stained glass windows with just the right amount of light streaming in. We both ordered the puree of corn soup which was light and tasty with just the right amount of cornbread croutons sprinkled on top. What a great way to whet our appetite! Next, I had the rare tuna and my husband had the sauteed Halibut. Both accompanied by smooth delicious mashed potatoes and a carrot and broccoli vegetable mix. The meal was tasty, light and overall amazing! We cannot wait to return and enjoy another memorable experience at Anton's at the Swan!
Dinner with friends and it was a very pleasant experience. Great food, friendly staff and very cool atmosphere. We were able to enjoy great conversation with friends.
Very cool ambience and the food was delicious !!!!
The food was very good, and the wine list was nice, with many different price ranges
We went here to celebrate out engagement. Everything was wonderful. The food was fantastic and dessert was incredible!
