Great food and service. Highly recommend.
Good Food, relaxing enviroment, good service, decently proced
Great food and service as always!!
Very friendly staff
Amazing ambiance and white glove service. Our waiter Luis, was exceptional. We had the calamari as an appetizer, wonderful and could have been eaten for a meal. The bread was fresh and hot. First time my dinner came out, the chicken was overcooked. They promptly took it back. Unfortunately, the second time, the chicken was very tough. I didn't say anything. My husband's lobster ravioli, however, was wonderful. They gave us a complementary slice of their new coconut pie. So worth trying!! Can't wait to go back again to try their lamb shank (it wasn't available, they said they serve it later in the evening).
The service was superb. The ambiance was up scale, yet still a relaxed atmosphere.
The food was the true prize. We all started with the arugula salad. It was great. I had the veal Marsala as my entree. It was easily the best that I have ever eaten. It was featured in a sauce that took I believe 13 hours to prepare. In addition it included fresh sliced cooked carrots, mushrooms, and green beans over a scrumptious potato mash. It surpassed all of my expectations.
We finished with coconut cake and coffee. Very nice.
Well worth it. The veal was outstanding, as was the chicken parm!
One of our favorite restaurants in town always a great experience!
Don’t worry about the menu, just get the special for the night.
Fantastic service and amazing food! Will definitely return.
Although we usually have a good experience, the restaurant seems to cut corners. Upon arrival, the hosts were not there and guests were looking for them in the dining room. The "new generation" of servers should be trained to be more attentive, check often on your customers, suggest wine, etc. rather than impatiently taking orders.
The food quality was not as usual either. The eggplant appetizer was half the size compared to the same one served during the last visit, and the accompanying vegetables and potatoes were practically cold. The Tiramisu was "thrown" on a small plate, compared to the next table where the same dessert was nicely presented with garnish.
I am sorry to write this review, but I have to be honest.
Great place to have delicious food at a fair price.
We loved the food and we received exceptional service and attention.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for a quiet, unhurried dinner. The waiter was really professional and friendly without being intrusive. There is a very good reason this restaurant has been successful for a long, long time.
The magical dinning experience was 5 stars! Food was excellently cooked, served timely, and extremely delicious!! Service was very amazing. Order a bottle of Prosecco
We’ll be back to try out more food. Thanks! ......
Food was just ok, not really pleased with portion size or tast ! Very disappointed
Went with a friend for Magical Dining. The choices were excellent, the serving sizes very generous. The flavors exploded in our mouths. We felt very satiated and satisfied. Can't wait to go back.
Awesome experience! Will go back with out a hesitation!
Pleasantly surprised...really enjoyed the entire experience...close to home (we live in Dommerich Woods)... will certainly make more frequent trips to the deli & dining room...thanks for a nice evening!!
A real individual restaurants with a long history in Maitland... great food. Even though I can cook an awesome steak at home, I have a hard time resisting their NY Strip. My wife loves the veal... appetizers and dessert also so nice.
The service was excellent, prices reasonable, especially the Magical Dining options. Everything was very fresh and seasoned perfectly. Would go back again. The downstairs deli was a treat also.
Waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and perfect wine pairings. Food was delicious and great value. We did magical dining. Swordfish was delicious and the steak was perfect!!! Try the coconut cake or the tiramisu for desert with a shot of espresso. 😍
We eat here every week and the food and service is always 5-Star.
The food and atmosphere was great. We had a good waiter which keep up with our needs. My only complaint was the old fashion was a bit weak or watery.
Service was great. I tried the lobster ravioli which was not for me . Server offered to give me something else. Didn’t want to Waste the food that’s why you try something new. Now I know it’s not for me:). It tasted good and fresh just to different for me.
My main issue was a table of 4 elder adults to my left. Very loud. Very vulgar . In addition they continued voice their issues of not liking magic dining as it was bringing down the level of service . How they frequent and have no issues paying full price .
A server had past them and went to another table. One of the gentlemen loudly said well I guess they know were here allot and trying to bring the magic people back . That’s OK. It will show in our tip .
I wished one of the employees would have said something to them. Lord knows I wanted to . I wanted to say it’s obvious money doesn’t buy class .
Not everyone there was for a reduced menu. Maybe it was just to have some normalcy in these not so normal times
I do plan to return however if I see these 4 adults again I would walk out .
I had dined Saturday Oct 24.
Fantastic food, great atmosphere! Perfect for a date night
Great place to celebrate a special occasion. The food was out of this world and the service was exemplary. My husband and I will definitely dine at Antonio's Upstairs again.
Perfect meal with great service. Interior needs updating.
Wonderful experience and food was delicious
We were there for the Magical Dining Promotion and it was one of the most spectacular dinners we have had in at least 5 years. The New York strip was huge and a very substantial portion of garlic mashed potatoes to accompany it and a veg to boot! Small Caprese salad and a dessert! It was wonderful. I hope they extend that so more people will be able to experience this lovely Maitland restaurant. It has always been one of my favorites.
Enjoyed the Magical Dining special. My husband had lobster ravioli and I had swordfish special. Both were fabulous! Wonderful choice. We will definitely go back. We chose to sit outside so traffic noise was a little high, but we had no trouble conversing. Staff all wore masks.
The food was fantastic. I had veal Marsala and my niece had lobster ravioli. The service was excellent. We went for the Month of Magical Dining menu and were there mid-week. We will definitely return.
This place was amazing we really enjoyed each bit of our food and time.
Excellent service, excellent food, large portions. Great for magical dining.
For a first visit, it was a wonderful meal. The Veal Marsala was delicious!! I’ve never had veal before last night but I would definitely go back but for that entree.
Being an eggplant lover, I ordered the rollatini which was excellent as usual. The fresh romaine wedge was complimentary! Service was impeccable as always.
I was so excited to finally have a magical dining dinner here but eh. The calamari appetizer was excellent. I ordered the lobster ravioli as an entree but it was at room temperature. My dinner companions had steam coming off of their entrees but mine was not even close. The waiter took it back and I think the chef just scraped the cold sauce off and poured some warmer sauce on my poor four ravioli because the first few bites of the sauce was warm but the ravioli was still cool in the middle. Such a shame. I was too stuffed to eat my coconut cake so I took it to go. About two hours later I decided to try my cake. One side was stale. So I got a crunchy, skinny piece of cake for dessert. So sad. I will never be back. Obviously things have changed since your initial Zagat review because this was not worthy. I really wanted excellent New York Italian food. Not here. Such a shame.
Wonderful dining experience across all things that matter. We were seated promptly and had friendly , attentive, knowledgeable service by a very professional waiter. The food was wonderful for both of us, with the added treat of new flavors and presentations. Antonio's sets a high bar.
