Excellent service by Melissa AGAIN. Food was great.
We haven’t given a 5 Star in a while but the meal was incredible. Anyone who can make brussels sprouts taste that good clearly knows what they’re doing.
Service was wildly attentive. It’s was a perfect experience.
Outstanding service! Noise level was very low, where you can have a nice conversation.
While beautiful to see, antlers lodge was just ok regarding the food. Hubs had ther pork chops and her enjoyed them. I hadthe vegetables and pasta. It was ok. My thought is this: when you are charging the prices you do, include a lovely salad and vegetables on the side. Don't make me pay even more for ther vegetables with the main meal.
Love that they can make Gluten Free adjustments for the Elk. Excellent food just wish they had Red Italian wine on the menu, such a shame to not have the best wine country in the world not included and have to settle on something else
We had a wonderful time the food was great and the service was outstanding!
Service was excellent, food was good, ambiance was poor.
A limited, well-executed menu. We had the Elk and Ribeye Cap steaks. Both were cooked to perfection. Apps were adequate (would have preferred a different selection but what we had was nice) and salads were good too.
I am 69 and have eaten all over the world and this is in the top 10
Food was delicious! Steaks, pork chop very good ... compliments to the Chef! The service we excellent.
The ambiance not so great. The dining room needs to be updated, it’s very late 80’s/ early 90’s decor (drapes, etc.). Otherwise, this is a go to place for good food!
- Great selection of meats, incl. rare kinda like elk and venison, both delicious.
- Great ambiance. Huge antler chandelier and fireplace make the place very cozy and comforting.
- Great and attentive service.
Will highly recommend it for a special occasion.
Excellent food and service. No issues with this place at all. Very enjoyable.
The ribeye cap was recommended to us along with the ale demi glace steak sauce. It was delicious as were the fried Brussels sprouts. I gave the meal 4 stars since my husband's chicken portion was so small, and the bread didn't taste fresh and needed salt/ more flavor. But overall, excellent meal!
Great customer service and the Food was amazing! Thanks again
Amazing food. Amazing service. Perfect for a business/group dinner.
Hill country charm with cozy fireplace & oak aroma. The Venison Osso Bucco was yummy. Wild mushrooms great. Order game inspired dishes. Service great.
Went to dinner for my husband's birthday, we had a so so meal. Not much flavor for the price. Coffee was spectacular and so was the service. Was too dark in the restaurant though.
Really lovely room. Nice Game menu ( antelope, bison, venison...). Service was so nice. I enjoyed the biscuits, so our waiter gave us extra to go!
This restaurant has been a wonderful experience EVERY TIME we’ve celebrated a special occasion. The entire experience warrants a 5 star rating. Thank you once again for an amazing anniversary dinner.
We have dined at Antlers Lodge many times and it never disappoints! The food, service and wonderful atmosphere set the stage for a magical 5th wedding anniversary celebration!
The chef was great! Before he could bring my husband's steak he recognized it was cooked incorrectly and resolved the issue. He took accountability and ownership for the error and this was very much appreciated! He was very humble and for this reason we will be going back many many times.
Our service was excellent, the staff was very attentive and courteous. Our meal was delicious, with our steaks prepared exactly as ordered. My son didn’t care for the kids macaroni, it was a gourmet cheese and he didn’t like it so he didn’t eat. Otherwise, the ambiance was quiet and uneventful, but pleasant. We will go back if we stay at the Hyatt again.
Great food and beverage best in San Antonio!
Greatest! Great food, great service!
We typically choose Antler's for our anniversary, and have been very pleased with the food, service, and ambiance.
This is a gorgeous restaurant with outstanding food and very professional service persons!
Very special ambience in a beautiful room with glowing fireplace. The steaks we had were terrific! And the steak chimichurri seasoning enhanced the flavor of our medium rare selection. We had the smoked cheese mashed potatoes and asparagus for sides. Very flavorful. A delightful evening and very memorable. The service was top notch!
New Years event for 4 of us was great. The menu was excellant, small crowd was perfect with .the roaring fireplace on an extremely cold night was also perfect. we extremely Loved the music that night. thank You
Overall it can be an excellent experience. On this occasion it was New Years eve and they had noisemakers out. Unfortunately, there were several children using them throughout our dinner causing a major distraction. The band even stopped trying to bring the parents attention to the issue. It apparently went right over there heads...VERY rude.
I was disappointed that there was not place to dance with my wife.
Very friendly and nice staff.
The food tasted great and the service was fantastic. The waiter was very patient and accomodating to my mother that is gluten free. He went out of his way to please her. The only reason for 4 stars on value is because a couple of dishes could have had a little more food compared to the others, but the taste was excellent.
Enjoyable quite ambiance, good food, server was a bit inexperienced. Hot tea presentation needs to be improved - server offered three options consisting of three individual tea packets in her hand.
Chose the Antlers because we were staying at Hyatt Hill Country Resort and didn't want to drive anywhere. We dined there on Christmas evening on the price fix menu they were offering. We had made reservations earlier in the week and they made me guarantee it with a credit card because it was Christmas and a special meal. It was $75 a person, which I was willing to pay because we didn't want to drive, and the menu offering sounded very good. However, for that expensive of a meal I think it is reasonable to have high expectations. They did not have their act together to say the least. They did not have the fish they advertised on the menu. It was substituted with salmon and my wife had already had salmon for lunch. They ran out of chicken and had to cook more so it did not come out with the meal. The service was not what I would expect for such nice restaurant and our waiter was not overly concerned. I would suggest to the this restaurant that if you can't pull off a holiday meal of this magnitude just close for Christmas. No one will fault you for closing.
We were there for Christmas dinner. Very, very disappointed!!! Only cornish hen was good; not prime rib, not fish, not stuffing, not green beans, not mac-n-cheese. No way was this worth the $176.00 paid. We took food home and trashed it. Not trying to be mean, just being honest. Worst Christmas meal, EVER. Sorry...
A great resturant. Highly recommended. Price point very affordable for fine dinning.
Waiter was not particularly congenial . He was hard of hearing and did not get order completely correct. Not that attentive. Food was average. Typically there are holiday decorations and all the trees surrounding resort and restaurant are lit by this time of year. This year there none of that - not particularly scenic. Not much ambiance. Disappointed.
Exceptional food and service! I enjoyed the wedge salad and the filet. My filet was prepared a perfect medium and was served hot. Our table shared several sides, each was delicious. Only downfall- enjoyed our meal so much, we were not able to indulge with dessert!
While enjoying our stay at Hyatt Hill Country, we enjoyed a romantic dinner at Antlers Lodge. Our wait staff was polite, personable, and attentive. There was a large party in the dining room, but we were seated away from their table and the noise was never a distraction.
Antlers Lodge is not at the level it should be!
It is a management problem.
The presentation was poor -- all the food was on one plate.
Also, the plates need an upgrade.
However, the service provided by the sever was very good.
