Antico Posto, “The Old Spot”, is an intimate Italian Cafe and Wine Bar carefully hidden in Oakbrook Center Mall. The neighborhood restaurant boasts a warm, and inviting atmosphere combined with simple Italian comfort food. Make yourself comfortable in one of the many booths, or enjoy the private dining space for celebrations and special occasions. House specialties include fresh mozzarella, hand-crafted pasta, brick-oven pizza and house-made gelato. The wine list features more than 30 Italian and domestic selections available by the glass, 1/2 bottle and bottle. Signature dishes include Caprese, Margherita Pizza, Gnocchi Delicati, Classic Spaghetti Bolognese, Parmesan-Crusted Chicken Raguso and Specialty Risotto.

                                                                            Their service was great and we got in quickly. I would say they don’t have many pasta options, but what I ordered was really good! The guest I ate with didn’t really care for her meal but again the service was great. They do not have chicken Alfredo so I wouldn’t consider this your typical Italian place to eat, but their spicy rigatoni was really good!

                                                                            Excellent gnocchi as well as seared scallops with angel hair. The service was fantastic as well. We have been coming here for years and always look forward to it

                                                                            Food is decent, the promixity to Oakbrook shopping center is a plus. Service is slow, took too long for food to come out BUT water was always filled. Ordered linguine with shrimp, ravioli and gnocci which were all good, appetizers were ok. Bread, cheese, olive oil and pickles (for free) were better. Snafu with the bill but server put it right.

                                                                            About our 3 rd time dining here. Can't say enough things about how great the food is. We drove 150 miles to celebrate my husband’s birthday and even dealing with construction traffic, it was excellent in all regards. When we checked in, I commented to the hostess that it seemed packed for a Tuesday night and she revealed it was 1/2 price wine night, which we had no idea it was. I had the porcini gnocci which were as light as clouds and superb! We will definitely be back. Service was exceptional, waiter Memo was great!
