   We have been going since it opened many years ago in Oakbrook Center. In the many many times we have been there we have never experienced any issues with the food or service. It also says something that a number of staff members have been there since the beginning! We love the menu and the choices that are offered. Have to say I love the chicken meatballs oh before I forget the giardinera and bread is bellissimo!

   Our group had 5 people celebrating a birthday and everyone really enjoyed the experience. Our server was great! He made good recommendations, was attentive to refilling drinks, and was very personable. Among the group we tried the pot roast special, the pistachio crusted whitefish, the ravioli, and some appetizers (Brussels sprouts and calamari). Everything was fantastic!    The most lovely experience at a restaurant in a long time; we ate in the screened in patio room which was delightful! Service was stellar and food was phenomenal! PS Found out about their Happy Hour specials, which were until 5 pm on M-Th. Check it out!

   Love Antico Posto. Service is always great. Food is wonderful. Favorites are the chicken meatball appetizer and the whipped ricotta. Favorite main dishes are salmon, chicken parmigiana, spicy rigatoni, hot honey pepperoni pizza. Save room for some gelato or a slice of tiramisu.

   Food was good, hot. Went for my birthday. Ordered dessert. Then the server brings me a free birthday dessert. Same as what I ordered but smaller. Then 5 minutes later he brings the dessert I ordered which I don't want because I just ate dessert. Oh, too bad, can't return it now. So I got a $10 dessert that I didn't want.

   Our food was brought out to us while we were still eating our salad. They took it back and brought our main course after 10 minutes but our dinner was cold and the pasta was congealed. Smaller portions than before and not very flavorful. Used to be one of our favorite Italian restaurants but it will be a while before we go back.

   The margherita pizza was phenomenal (had them add chilli flakes to it) - the ravioli was also good, a little undercooked/dry for being house made, and the sauce for the vodka pasta could have been thicker (added a burrata ball to it & added chilli flakes). overall everything tasted really good. the chocolate cake is also really rich and delicious.

    I asked for a well done steak and it came rare literally pink everywhere. I had to send it back to have it redone. I don’t care how the chef likes the food but if a customer says well done. They mean well done.
