Went out for a date night/husband birthday and from start to finish was an amazing experience. The food was fresh and delicious and service was excellent. Was out first time dining there but definitely won't be our last.
Celebrating my 65th birthday. We had a wonderful evening there!
Great food and excellent service. The table was ready on time.
Me and my wife frequent this place in Oak Brook. Even my children and family agree how good-tasting and delicious the Italian foods are dished out here so well and tasty. The only food items that we are turned off ordering most of the time are the seafood varieties. The reason being is the trail of fishy-like smell which you cannot miss smelling as the stuff deliver them to diners’s tables- especially the calamari’s appetizers on the menu. We tried them many times and they are fresh, no doubt about. But whenever they bring the seafood stuff to our table you can’t help but kinda doubt they may not be fresh, but they are. We kind of think or suspect that the fishy scent is caused by the grilling equipment used in the seafood preparation. They may be sanitarily acceptable but if they’re not adequately scrubbed from time-to-time to remove the seafood remains and residues from the previous cooking, the prevailing fishy smell will always linger in the air. We believe that there’s much room for improvements in this area of their kitchen. This just my opinion.
It's always enjoyable to dine there. It just wasn't our best experience.
The gnocchi was out standing, it just melts in your mouth. I had chicken Parmigiana which was outstanding. We were a table of six and each and everyone of us fished our plates clean!!!! We had Danielle as our waitress, she was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Great food with excellent service. Definitely a place to come back to!!!!
We had a great time and look forward to our next visit.
This is the second Time I tried their special of the day Risotto and it was magnificent! The taste and combination of Flavors was wonderful. I also may add that the Minestrone was delicious.
The shrimp with garlic sauce and linguine was good but a bit too heavy on the red pepper flakes which detracted from the flavor of the shrimp and garlic. The dinner salad was ample and very tasty.
The single dip of gelato for dessert was just right to contrast the meal we had just finished.
The service by Vicky C was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and attentive.
Again a great experience!
This is always are go to place! Same employees for years! Friendly! Food is amazing! Date night, out with girlfriends, or out with the family, Antico is the place for me!
Excellent food and service.
Nelson knows the true meaning of customer service and customized a meal for my vegan wife. I will request his section next time we dine here. The homemade ravioli was delicious! I highly recommend the home made gelato.
I thought the fried calamari was overbreaded, the sauce was ok. We used to get it at the Reel Club , you should use their recipe. Ceasar salad was very dry had to ask for more dressing, that fixed the problem. I had the beef tenderloin with rissoto it was excellent. It was our first time there we probably will return.
Love coming here and was disappointed for the first time. As the waiters changed shifts they forgot about our table. Otherwise, always good food and a great stop in Oakbrook Mall
Excellent service, great food. Antico never disappoints!
Food was okay..felt rushed through the meal from my server.
Lunch was wonderful
A great glass if wine
The cauliflower appetizer was very good
My salad with grilled calamari was perfectly grilled.
Great food, reasonable prices and outstanding service!
Nice spot in the mall!! Food was good! The gnocchi Bolognese was filling!
Always good meal here
Stephanie was our waitress and she was amazing, never left us alone for long and we so appreciated that. She is very attentive and she has a great personality. The food was delicious
Always fresh, always great option.
Pancetta ravioli was delectable
Always an amazing experience here. We had Adan as our server and he offered some of the most exceptional service we have ever experienced. 10/10 would reccomend.
Had dinner with some friends on a Friday night at AP. Showed up early for my reservation and it was no problem. They seated us pretty quickly- which was nice. Beer was cold and wine was great too. Pasta dishes are very good. Overall service was great! It’s similar to Maggianno’s but quicker- they get you in and out a bit faster. Would dine there again. Thanks
We always have a great time at Antico Posto, amazing food and wonderful service!
We love it at Antico Posto
I always love lunching at Antico Posto. I come for the crispy discs of Eggplant Parmesan and the tender chicken limone and am never disappointed. The ravioli are jumbo sized. Lunch comes with complimentary bread and a wonderful tangy oil and olive dip. The selection of desserts included zupa inglesse which came in a small portion which is great for just a light bite. The service and atmosphere are just perfect with golden walls, golden light, and dark wood.
I have been dining at Antico Posto for years, and it never disappoints. Both food and service are always the best!
The food was great, we ordered Eggplant and Ravioli, was delicious and loved very much. There was only
suggestion. The tables are too small, they get very uncomfortable.
Good as always
Consistent good food and service at fair prices
Food was good service was poor!
On new year's eve it was packed, but service was still good and server was upbeat and attentive. I thought the ravioli was excellent.
My dinner was cold I had the short ribs potato was cold and the meat was just warm. I didn’t send it back because I didn’t want to wait for another meal to come out while the rest of my party finished their meald
We had a party of 10 for New Years Eve. We were seated immediately. And the service was outstanding.
I have been at Antico Posto many times. In fact I hosted a business event there a few years ago so I am well acquainted with their menu. I like the restaurant because the food is consistently great. However, we were there on New Years Eve and I did not enjoy the food. I ordered the gnocchi with mushrooms because I have enjoyed it numerous times before. The gnocchi are browned in a butter sauce. However, more than a third of my gnocchi were burnt and the sauce had no taste. I mentioned it to the waiter, showed him the burnt pieces and he just asked if I wanted to take it home. I said sure because I know once I brought it home I could throw out the burnt pieces and doctor up the sauce. I was disappointed that my complaint wasn't taken more seriously but I didn't want to take it further, it was New Year's Eve. We paid the check and left. I would still recommend the place because this was one bad meal amid many good ones that we have eaten there.
Awesome food. Service was slow but they were busy. Waited a long time for desert.
One of the best Italian spots in the burbs. Great service and sumptuous food.
Wonderful food and service.
Had to wait 20 min for server to take our order even though it wasn't very busy. Food was average. The eggplant parm was good but the spaghetti and meat balls were way below average and the chicken meatball was mushy, too much filling and lacked flavor. Pasta was overdone. I expected not to be better since it was a daily special. Nice ambiance for a late lunch.
