I love this place, excellent food and service even they other guests are inviting.
Delicious food at affordable prices.
Food and service was very good. Enjoyed the live music.
I first went to Anthony’s when he was on Haverford Avenue in Philadelphia. The food is as good today as it was then and it explains why he has been in business for so long. Haven’t had a bad meal yet.
First time at Anthony’s it was a nice experience. Food was delicious. Service was spot on
Excellent evening out with friends! Dinner was delicious as usual. We meet here because we can have a wonderful dinner without having to scream over music or other patrons. The staff is super friendly and everyone is more than accommodating.
Our first time here, but not our last. Small, quiet restaurant with excellent food. Try the veal chop, but also get a small side dish of fresh homemade pasta for a great Italian dinner. Service was great and the waitress was helpful with suggestions both on and off the menu. Prices were reasonable. Only (minor) issue was the wine list was not too inspiring.
Good service on a busy night. The Soul Cruisers band was performing. They usually draw a larger crowd. Despite that, the service was prompt and friendly. The food was very good.
The food is always amazing!!
The Food & service was excellent thanks Nicole for your recommendation. loved the live music on Thursday night
Incredible service and delicious meal. Celebrating my mother's 89th birthday and was made so special by everyone! Thank you for a great night!
This was our first visit to Anthony's and we were very happy we found it. The menu is fairly traditional Italian with a focus on seafood. Everything we had was freshly made and delicious. Side salads were large. I had the Caesar and it was one of the best I've had with an obviously homemade dressing. My wife had veal piccante which came with 3 good sized pieces of thinly pounded, tender veal and a side of gnocchi with red sauce. She said it was all very tasty. I had the Gnocchi Calabro with 3 or 4 shrimp and several pieces of very tender chicken. For dessert, I had the strawberry shortcake which was a very light spongecake with fresh cream and berries. My wife had the Italian lemon cream cake and got limoncello to pour over it, which she enjoyed. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We liked him as it was old school Italian service, but if you prefer more formal service, you may not like it as much. The room was comfortable with good spacing between tables. It looked like they were getting set up for live music as we were leaving. Prices were reasonable for the portions and quality of the food.
Our server, I think his name was Sean, was wonderful. The clams casino are the best I have had in years. Service was great, the food was awesome, and we will be back.
Our family loves Anthony’s. Tonight we celebrated my Dad’s 96th birthday. Our waitress Deb was terrific and the food is the best Italian around.
Excellent food and service....consistently. The selection of entrees gives you plenty of variety and there is always many specials. None of which ever disappoint. They treat you better than family! We drive from Collegeville to Drexel Hill ….and it is worth every mile. Recommend to anyone.
Restaurant had 2 sections. One with table cloths on right of entrance one without in left. Asked about sitting on right side was told it was reserved for funeral guests. I spent 3 hours and no one came to right side. Not very accommodating
Terrific seafood specials. Warm, friendly service. A 14-month old accomodated with no trouble.
Very poor service and mediocre food, not a great combo
Excellent lunch, outstanding service and a comfortable atmosphere. Great lunch choices.
The food wa fantastic and our waiter Pat, was the best
Fabulous as always
Went for my anniversary during the week. It was quiet, the food was good (pumpkin ravioli was amazing!) and our waiter, Sean, was very attentive. Will definitely return.
The food was good and resonably priced so I would recommend it to someone looking for Italian - but I have to note that when we arrived at the hostess desk we were told that the reservation never went through -- she continued to sit other people as I showed her the confirmation email and finally brought the manager up who looked at the reservation sheet and admitted that the reservation was there all along. This was my first time using open table and if restaurants aren't able to accurately keep track of reservations through the app then I will be reluctant to use open table in the future.
always great food and good service. you are treated like family. outstanding veal dishhes
Great meal as always! Had the veal Gina which was too die for. Always good service. Reservations were at 7pm and we were seated right away. Would definitely recommend!
Great Italian dishes, especially the veal parm! Portions are generous. Our waitress was very attentive. Not once was our glasses not full.
Food was ok..service was great
Overpriced dinners. Food was good but not enough quality and quantity for the price. I’m a pescatarian, ordered the halibut special with Brussels sprouts (not many) and waitress didn’t mention they had bacon in it. First and last try here.
This place is great and lived up to all the great reviews. We had dishes with chicken and I had the eggplant parmesan appetizer. I'm picky about chicken and eggplant and it was all delicious and prepared perfectly! The service was excellent and I was not rushed through my meal like 95 % of other restaurants- and I appreciate that so much!
We arrived for a Saturday night dinner and were told that because we made the reservation on Open Table and they were busy, we had to sit in the bar area. they sat us at a huge table meant for 6 although new were only 4. When I complained, I was told that because the reservation was made on Open Table there was nothing they could do for us. Our food was ordered and the appetizer took 30 minutes to be served ( salads!) a glass of wine was brought to the table with barely 1/4 of it filled. When my husband send it back, the waitress returned with a filled glass saying she served it originally before the bartender had finished filling it. Our meals were served with 2 entrees, veal parmigiana, being cold. They were taken back and returned hot but over cooked as if they had been microwaved. My husband ordered a veal dish and said that the veal was tough and chewy- poor quality veal! The bread was served cold. We asked if it could be warmed and were told no. It was very commercial white bread. We were given complimentary desserts which was generous, but they were disappointing. We will never return to this restaurant!
waiter Shawn was quick with food and drinks and quick with check at end of meal
Another great night at Anthony’s! Everything was perfect!
Kayla did a great job serving our dinner.
Very good experience. Service was excellent as well as food. Would highly recommend.
Great food and great service. Highly recommended. Crowded for summer Su day night but everything was very good.
Shawn was good, waited a little to long for food to come out.
Food was good. Liz our server was very attentive. Not crowded that night. We felt relaxed and not rushed out. Pat the manager frequently came over to ask how we were doing. Would recommend this restaurant.
The specials continue to offer value and wonderful combinations of ingredients. The raw bar is outstanding. I do wish the wine and beer offerings were upgraded.
Another fine dinner. The weekend raw bar is outstanding, and makes for a nice change of pace. Once again outstanding specials.
