Anthony's Prime Steak & Seafood Ratings and Reviews
Dinner was a very good experience, had a small family gathering that started with cocktails from the bar. Appetizers including salads and oysters on the half shell which where very tasty. For dinner we had steaks, prime rib and crab legs. The crab legs were split open and large sized. Overall a great dinner and very easy to have conversations without the room being too loud.
I have frequented Anthony’s for numerous years - celebrations , holidays etc. this year my family gathered for Thanksgiving. Two of us ordered the athanksgiving meal @ $50 pp and the 3rd in our party ordered a prime steak, ala carte salad, baked potato and dessert. Needless to say the meal was over $200.
The thanksgiving meal was served with a pumpkin bisque, although I received lobster bisque. I switched for my brothers chopped side salad which was tasteless and soggy.
The turkey dinner was slopped with a couple scoops of mashed potatoes, topped with green beans, topped with turkey, topped with gravy - cranberries on the side. Stacked and tasteless. No stuffing, no sweet potatoes. This was one of the worse meals I have ever eaten on a holiday.
As indicated our family had dined here for years. The restaurant just is not up to par and we’ll be choosing another restaurant in the future.
What a shame for this experience.
My wife and I spent our wedding anniversary at the Mresort. We were treated as if we were Royalty. From the day we arrived till the day we left the employees were exceptional at resolving any need we desired. The food at Anthony's was exceptional. The service was top shelf and the food was even better. I will never stay anywhere else while visiting Las Vegas NV. Thank you again to all the staff at the Mresort.
Don't normally write reviews , however I thought it was a must from my exp...
short to the point , I ordered tuna poke that was outstanding ! my girl , fried calamari ... way over cooked like battered rubber bands.. main corse .. me , Colorado lamb chops ordered rare... came out well done, actually looked microwaved ... her, thick Veal chop .... came out well with a sweet catchup/ cinnamon attempt at a sauce, covering it like a chicken fried steak smothered in cream gravy...worst crap I ever tasted , and may I add I am a 20 year trained master chef .... sides we ordered , creamed gold potatoes with truffle ... I got COLD boxed instant ????? , her... asperagus with crusted med sea salt... she got wilted raw asp...
sorry for the bluntness BUT damn , the chef must have left early and the dishwasher filled in for the rest of the night .... water was trying and knocked 120$ off the bill...
last .. the restaurant was located in the M resort @ vegas and the resort was impeccable ... food , rooms and all else .
The food is outstanding. We are regulars. Frank does an outstanding job of running a top notch eatery and he goes out of his way to make you feel at home... and Bruno should get an award for server of the year. The chef is amazing - we don't bother going anywhere else as the food is always excellent.
We sat where you could watch them cooking the steaks which was fun to see. My husband and I shared a NY Srip cooked perfectly. They have an excellent wine list . Give yourself time because they pace the meal. Wait staff was good but I’ve been to restaurants where the server comes over more than once so for that I gave it 4 Stars. They are a bit overpriced but that’s to be expected.
Our waiter, Florin, was very helpful in explaining wet vs. dry process when it comes to aged beef. The chowder was a bit on the salty side but the lobster bisque surely made up for it. The steaks, oh muh gee, waa definitely worth it!! Celebrated our anniversary here and I loved it. The complimentary chocolate strawberries and mixed berry side was a beautiful touch to our dinner. Thais for a wonderful meal, Anthony's!!
Our Cosmos were served in tall glasses shaped like the lilies lining the entrance way. The Oysters Rockefeller were served with a wonderful creamy spinach sauce. Chilean Sea Bass was delicious in a mild sauce that did not overwhelm the fish dish. Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection.
This was our second time at this restaurant and each time has been amazing. The staff is great and extremely attentive. I can't remember the waiter's name (super nice bald guy), but he was awesome. He made us laugh, gave great recommendations, and was overall a complete joy to be around.
