We arrived at the restaurant a bit early - 1 PM for a 1:15 PM reservation but they were so busy we ended up not getting seated until around 1:20. No problem. While standing in line, we noticed the hours for the brunch went until 1:30. That's just the last seating right? As we were getting seated, we asked the wait staff and she said they didn't start closing down until 2:30. Seems like an OK amount of time to eat...HOWEVER this isn't just an ordinary meal, and we had to book reservations in early May to eat in July! We went into it feeling rushed, which isn't a great way to start off a $250 meal that we've been looking forward to for months. We ended up going right away to get our first round of food and I'm sure missed our opportunity to order drinks. We were there for probably 30 minutes before we got drink ordered. The food was mostly all amazing - the lobster tails were fantastic, the crab was fantastic, all the meats and sides were fantastic. The service was OK but not what I'd expect for such an expensive meal. Overall it was a fine experience but I don't know if we will be back, and certainly not at the tail end again. I think the service would have been much better earlier in the morning, when the staff wasn't focusing on getting things cleaned up and shut down.

My review is specifically for the Sunday brunch buffet. We were there taking my mother in law to celebrate her 80th birthday. We were raving about how wonderful my husband and I’s last visit to the buffet was to my in laws so we decided to celebrate there for her birthday at the buffet yesterday. The food was lacking and wasn’t up to par with me and my husband’s previous visit to the brunch buffet. The food didn’t taste as good or as fresh yesterday. The food stations were a MESS and the popular items were always empty or nearly empty. They even were out of soup bowls for quite some time but we did end up waiting and getting a bowl to enjoy the soup which was good. The beef Wellington had been sitting under the heat lamps of hell for too long resulting in hard, dry puff pastry and the meat was as dry as the desert. The lamb chops were cold and tough as well. I didn’t bother trying the prime rib since the Wellington and lamb were subpar. The dessert offerings were mediocre and the previous buffet visit we had, there was a much better selection. The service was lacking unfortunately as well. Not once did they come and offer refills of our beverages. We had to ASK them to bring us refills and the tables were not bussed in the manner that I am previously accustomed to with the M Resort and at Anthony’s Steakhouse. We had at one time 6 plates on our table that needed to be bussed not really allowing much room for us to bring new plates of food to our table. Usually, the service at the M Resort is PHENOMENAL! But sadly, not this time. I guess I was just expecting the same type of impeccable service that we usually get here at Anthony’s Steakhouse. If the food and service remain the same as it was this past Sunday, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you spending your hard earned money elsewhere. For $100 per person, you can probably find better food AND service somewhere else.

This was our first time dining here and most likely will not return. The line for the lobster tails was extremely long which also meshed or continued into the line for the meats/carving station that was right next to it. So even if you didn’t want lobster people were still lined up. By the time we got back to our table to eat the food was cold. Also, all the crab was cold. I would have preferred the crab to be warm. The restaurant was very crowded. It would’ve been better to have 2 lobster stations since that seemed like it was the star of the show and the reason why people book. The other foods on the buffet tables were so close to the other stations that it made it difficult weaving through the lines of people. The dessert table was mediocre. I wouldn’t say that I ate the cost of the buffet which made me wish I would’ve gone to a different restaurant. At least I knocked this place off my list of places to eat at. Maybe tourists would enjoy this more than a local.

Food was fantastic. We both had the Prime Rib. Our server was Derek and he was delightful. He’s been there for 16 years and it was obvious he still loves his job.
