Not great. For the price you’re paying, it’s not a great experience. Service was slow and not attentive. Halibut, while super fresh and perfectly cooked, was not well seasoned. Bread came out great the first time and stale the next time. Wine glasses need to be bigger for the pours served. Sides not listed on the menu nor explained. Shells found in the chowder. All around poor experience. If you go for the view, know you’re getting the view only, not a great restaurant experience.
Great meal on the Patio on a clear 80 degree day!
It's always a great experience when we dine at Anthony's on Pier 66. Thank you
Service was phonominal! Two of our party of 8 showed up very late and the server was very patient and made sure we were taken care of while we waited. It was for a birthday and we had brought cake and the next stop was the great wheel. We asked the server if they happened to have paper plates and plastic forks. He got us plates, napkins, forks and knives so we were able to enjoy our cake on the wheel.
Scenic view was a fantastic. That being said, Im not sure if the view justified the high price for food and the food not having that "WOW" factor. If your a tourist, money is no object and would like a nice atmosphere to impress that special someone, it will do the job. Don't expect the food to be anything extra special though and the price to be the quite the opposite. If you are ok with sacrificing the view there are way better choices to get great tasting fresh local authentic food.
The service, as always, was quite good. But, the salmon was served rare and even after sending back was still undercooked. It was delicious once cooked to the diners' liking. Steaks were good, but because it isn't a 'steakhouse,' not exceptional, and that was expected. For the money, there is better food available away from the water--but, the views make this restaurant worth taking visitors to.
On a weekend trip from the East Coast to Seattle, I was able to return to Anthony's Pier 66 after 17 years! And I was not disappointed! The views of the Seattle waterfront are still unparalleled, the food is first-class, and the service was appropriately attentive. I took advantage of Restaurant Week to have dungeness crab and corn chowder, delicious freshly grilled halibut with asparagus and a creamy dessert for $33.00 plus tax and gratuity. My old memories are now joined by my new ones and they are all good. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
We took our nephew and niece to dinner as a Holiday gift. Our reception was excellent and the food was outstanding.
All in all a great evening.
In Seattle for convention, and it was great to get fresh seafood, and have a window table that had great view of harbor!
Food was great and the view from upstairs is nice. Would come back again.
One of the best meals out we’ve ever had. Really special. It’s expensive, but worth it!
I work in the hotel industry so I always recommend this place to our guests since it's my favorite seafood restaurant in Seattle. This time like always it didn't disappoint. Love the crab and corn chowder! The service was excellent and so was the salmon!
What a great evening starting with our server, Ken, who went over and above to make sure our experience was stellar. We had the Seattle Restaurant Week prix-fixe menu which was fabulous. From taking a photo of us to bringing my husband a surprise birthday cake, the night was memorable - outside of the great food and view.
Excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive service! Great waterfront location and views! Food and portion sizes were good.
The food was amazing but the restaurant was very noisy with a large group next to us.
We ate everything on our plates!
The lights could also be turned a bit lower to add the the ambience and allow for better view of the lights outside.
One of the waiters kept banging plates down on the table as he reset the tables near us. Our waiter was great.
Food was good, view was nice, but our server was AWESOME.
Great meal, great atmosphere, attentive service and wonderful view.
I told them we were on our honeymoon and it was not even mentioned throughout the meal. Most upscale restaurants will offer a free dessert or glass of champagne. Especially since we spent $200 for dinner and wine.
Waiter was a little snooty! Had to ask for his name.
A group of friends and I went to Anthony's during Restaurant Week. I had never been before, but have had both wonderful and not-so-great experiences at higher-end restaurants during restaurant week. Location is fabulous, view incredible, food outstanding, and by the way we were treated.. you would have thought we were buying rounds of drinks and food for everyone in the place. Our waiter was wonderful, fun, very personable and matched the mood of our table with ease (sadly, I never actually caught his name). What an awesome evening! To go back is an easy decision - absolutely yes!
My family and I had a wonderful Easter dinner. The food was as great as the views.
Our server was less than enthusiastic, once it was clear we weren't ordering drinks. One person in our party was a recovering alcoholic and couldn't eat anything with alcohol, and it would have been helpful for the server to say that the dessert had bourbon and rum in it (before we ordered it). We found it delicious, but he couldn't eat it. The food was outstanding! Fresh and presented nicely. Very flavorful...dessert was to die for! The view was fabulous (at sunset). The table next to us had a loud child, but they left before we did and we did dine early. It's a bit pricey, and we would have like a server with a little more enthusiasm. He seemed bored with us. Otherwise we would highly recommend this restaurant.
The waiter was pretty rude
The food as always was outstandingly. We were treating people to a nice dinner.
We love to order the Tower appetizer when dining upstairs. First of all people ordered drinks and they didn’t arrive until just before dinner. Our Tower never arrived. The waiter forgot. So they treated us to desert which was nice but we would have much rather have had the appetizer we had ordered.
It is fairly expensive to eat upstairs so we expect much better service than we received.
I got their last fresh Dungeness crab and was delicious great service and wine. What else would you want
Waiter was also the bartender. When our meals came we didn’t see him much after. Food wasn’t as good as in the past. Crab cakes had less sauce and were just ok. They’re usually one of my favorites. The salmon halibut diet was just ok kind of bland. I’m usually really happy going to Anthony’s but this time it was not worth the high prices. Also we asked for validation for parking and the cards didn’t work so we had to pay for that as well.
We really enjoyed the waterfront dining on our trip to Seattle.
Always a great dining experience
We treated family to a special night out prior to us all doing the Big Climb Seattle the next day. The service was wonderful, the kids couldn't stop talking about how "fancy" the place was and of course, the food was excellent. Loved it!
Table too close to the kitchen so too noisy. Otherwise enjoyed it. Service was very good.
Excellent food, service (thx Dennis!) and scenic sunset followed by the beautiful lighting up of the waterfront harbour, and of course the awesome blue Seattle Wheel. Great, intimate time with our family.
This was my first time going to this restaurant and everything about it is just wonderful! I had the Pacific Duet (salmon and swordfish) and it was excellent. Our server was really great. The views of the waterfront and the ferris wheel are all very nice too! I would highly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.
Im vegan, and they had something for me as well as everyone else. The view was great!
My wife and I came for our anniversary. The food was excellent, the staff was very nice and even had some great recommendations! Highly recommended for a special occasion.
I used to really like the Anthony’s menu—it just wasn’t good. I don’t know if it’s just this season, but, after talking to other Seattle-ites it sounds like it’s been for last few years. Prices were really high for mediocre food and drink. I would recommend going to other waterfront restaurants and giving Anthony’s a wide berth til they fix their unimaginative and plain menu. It just felt dated—especially the upstairs dining area.
Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly! The food was amazing! It's a little pricey but totally worth it for the experience.
Table and setting were very nice, but it took awhile for someone to wait on us. Once we were waited on, then the service was fine. The food was good, not great. Scallops were a little overcooked. We will go back again.
We had a wonderful time in Seattle ending our day with a wonderful dinner with a beautiful sunset view! Highly recommend this place! Great food, beautiful view, outstanding service! We will be back when we visit again!
I had the crab fettuccine and the crab was delicious but the fettuccine was way too overdone. I really prefer it al dente and I forgot to mention it but I guess the standard is to make make it mushy. I should have said something to the waiter and I didn't. I should have sent it back but I was with a good friend who actually is Italian and so I didn't. The service was excellent and bread wad very good but I don't know that I'll come back because for $38 I would really expect to have pasta that is not mushy.
My friends and I went there for dinner and were not disappointed. We sat near a window to overlook the water, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent, a bit pricey for the amount served but very tasty. I would definitely go back.
