We had a wonderful meal, great service and a beautiful evening to watch the boats.
We had a last minute reservation and was seated quickly. We didn't order drinks, but one had a perfect clam chowder and my giant side salad was covered in baby shrimp-that was a surprise. We both order the surf n turf special which had a sirloin steak and crab or oysters. Delicious!
Delicious food, excellent service and lovely view. Who can ask for more?
Went to Anthony's down by the waterfront at the recommendation of a business colleague. What a great spot for a business meal, a couple date or to celebrate an occasion. The view of the harbor was fantastic and the food was excellent. I hope to come back again!
We have enjoyed Dining at various Anthony's for many years and have never been disappointed with the quality of the fresh seafood presentations.
I'd recommend it for WILD seafood, and good service. My fish was undercooked and I sent it back and no questions asked they replaced it very quickly. Parking is a challenge during busy times. My 89-year-old grandmother with a walker had no issues getting in and out. I've eaten at all of the Anthony's HomePorts in the northwest going back 20 years -- this one is my most frequented due to location.
Great meal good food and great service
Love Anthony’s.....they never disappoint! 50 characters in length—dumb!
This is a great addition to Restaurant Week. The view is great and it right on the marina. Love it!
The seating and view of the water was wonderful along with the great food. Our server was fantastic. Perfect evening.
We were seated in a two top, for a date, and sat down to used wine glasses.
Not a great start, but it happens.
The rest of the meal was good, flavorful, and prepared to order.
Waitress was not very attentive, but did a solid job.
Very nice view , food was ok but service was seriously poor
Very polite and personable hostess and waitress. Both very nice. The halibut was a huge piece, too big for me but great that you give a lot of food. I asked for the mango salsa as a side because I really like it. The halibut and green beans had way too much butter or sauce on them-way too rich for me, but nice taste. I will ask for new butter or sauces next time. My son asked for the 8 oz filet of medium cook. It was very very rare. He is too polite and didn’t ask to have it cooked longer, he left 3/4 of it on his plate, along with his mashed potatoes, he said the filet had great flavor but can’t stand it rare. He said the mashed potatoes had garlic or something that he didn’t know they had in them so didn’t care for them. My husband had his halibut blackened. He loved it, loved the rice too. Dessert of strawberry cheesecake and Baileys choc mousse was devine. We had to ask for steak sauce and more root beer twice before receiving them, we asked 10 min apart because waitress didn’t come back near any of the tables for that long after getting our meal. It’s too bad because my son picked a nice place to eat before going back to school, and he was highly disappointed. He made me buy him pizza on the way home...
Being Restaurant Week was a nice addition to the menu and offered a nice combination meal with appetizer, entree and dessert for a decent price. We also got a steak which was good and Lingcod and Chips (the chips were bland and mildly warm).
We were celebrating a birthday and had requested to be seated at a table by the window upon making the reservation. Instead we were seated in the middle of a Boeing business group dinner which were talking loudly, across tables, and made for an unpleasant atmosphere. Added to frustration when a table by the window sat empty the entire time we were there.
I can't say we will be back on a regular basis and unsure if even for the next birthday. Perhaps our expectations were too high.
The food here is very good and the poke on the small plate menu is amazing.
Excellent food and service, as usual. My salmon was cooked perfectly, as was my girlfriends steak (it was her birthday). Altogether a very nice evening. Thank you!
Very disappointing to go to a seafood restaurant and be served salmon that is very overcooked.
I would have thought this would have been something being in the Northwest that should be prepared correctly
Went for brunch and when we got there it order off the brunch menu. Food was good but was looking for buffet style. My fault I guess for not checking the menu. Bloody Mary was excellent.
Nice atmosphere and view. The hostess and wait staff are very good.
Waitress was wonderful, good value on the twight dinner!
Overall it was a great dinner. We went there for Seattle restaurant week to try out the food, everything was good, just lack a tiny bit of flavor. Ambience was great, nice view of the sunset.
This was Easter with our family. Everyone had a great dinner and our waitress was outstanding. Thank you for doing what Anthony's does so well, takes good care of your customers. We are in Anthony's a bunch living in Gig Harbor. Thank you and wishing you a belated Happy Easter.
Perfect place for Easter Brunch with the family. Great service, views and food!
We enjoyed our Easter brunch with our neighbors. This is a four year tradition. The food was very good. The views are beautiful, and the staff was very attentive.
The food was pretty good but it came out almost right after they served us our drinks, fruit and coffee cake. It felt like they were in a hurry to push us out. Also not all of our food was very hot when it came out. Overall not the greatest trip today ;(
Great 1st evening in Washington
It was my husband's birthday and we probably should have booked the reservation for 1630 to eat upstairs in the formal dining room. I wasn't too thrilled with the limited selection on the lunch menu but that is entirely my fault. Anyway, the food was alright for what we ordered. We also didn't know about the City of Des Moines parking restrictions. We will be back for sure but later in the evening.
Took the wife for a surprise bday dinner for 2...and everything was PERFECT...and the wife was very happy
Our 50th wedding anniversary. Anthony's was the perfect choice to celebrate. Great service....top notch waitstaff. Meals rival or surpass that of any other fine dining establishment in the Seattle area. Prices reasonable. And, without a doubt, Anthony's waterfront marina location with pleasure boats and seagoing vessels right outside its large picture windows makes for one the most unique dining experiences on Puget Sound. Sunsets are spectacular!
Was a wonderful, memorable evening. Thank you all.

This is a great place for any occasion! It has been a favorite in our family for three generations!
We had a very enjoyable dinner. Food was delicious, service was great. I would recommend Anthony's to my friends.
Pretty standard Brunch/Breakfast/Lunch menu. Food was competently prepared. "Panfried oysters" seemed more like deep fried and overcooked. Lovely fruit plate and blueberry coffee cake. They gladly accommodated vegan and a cheeseburger off menu requests. Entrees averaged about $20 each; mimosas and bloody marys $5.
We had a group of 11 people and thought there was no way we would be able to sit together. The hostess went out of her way to have us all sit together and by the window! It was a first for some of our friends so all of our raving about this brunch was validated. Our server was awesome. She really could not have done a better job.
Best seafood around.
My wife and went to Anthony's to celebrate our 47th anniversary. The food, service, view and ambiance were all outstanding and made for a memorable occasion.
Most tables have a great view of the water. The food is presented well; but was not good. Tempura asparagus was thick and woody. Coconut shrimp looks lovely but fishy. Most disappointing was desert; they offer and serve a beautiful BLACKBERRY cobbler, which did not have one blackberry in it. Raspberries are good but not what they advertise and sell. We spent $200. 00 for a meal we did not enjoy without cocktails. The green beans were good!
Disappointed on our 35th anniversary.
Usually come to Anthony’s Des Moines every other year. More for Sunday brunch. This time, came on a Saturday to celebrate a birthday. Came in with my wife and 3 year old daughter. Hostess sat us smack dab in the middle in a large round table between two large parties or 6+ people. Saw that there were 2 tables along window that made more sense so asked to move. Server was accommodating and helped us move tables. Ordered clams and poke. Wife had crab. Entrees were all just ok. Nothing special. Nothing too bad. Just on the bland side. Some sand and broken shells in clams. Also ordered chocolate cake and cheesecake. Cake was bad. I mean BAD. Cake definitely had the microwaved cake texture to it. My 3 year old wouldn’t even eat it. Cheesecake was just blah. Had a glass of wine as well and it was not aerated and had lots of sediment. Overall, not a good visit. Unfortunate because I did like this location and the one on Seattle waterfront is still good.
Dined upstairs, great atmosphere, good food, good service.
The food was wonderful, as always. We come every year for our anniversary, and we just celebrated #29. Our server was spot-on; just the right amount of attention and friendliness. Outstanding value for the Sunset Dinner!! We managed a window seat and enjoyed the sunny evening. We'll be back for #30!!...
