For years went on a fairly regular basis and had not been back for about five. Went for Christmas Eve and was extremely impressed. Had a delightful red from the Alexander Valley. The marinated mushrooms were a nice touch. The popovers are always fun. The baked stuffed lobster was filled with lobster meat was delicious. We shared the baked Alaska and it was big enough for 4 and was so yummy.

This was the first time I ever had a Thanksgiving meal in a restaurant. Normally, this is a family affair in someone's home. Made last minute plans and we were limited in our restaurant choices. That said, I and other family members were very pleased with our selection of Anthony's. My sister was the only one who had been there before about 25 years ago! The staff were attentive, friendly and very hepful. The food was very good: turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potaties, sweet potatoes, turnips, cider, pie , squash soup, popovers, etc. How can you go wrong. Ambience was perfect, crackling fires, low music and terrific scenery. Anthony's is old school and the building is weathered; however both of those traits can be overlooked. I would recommend this restaurant.

Food tastes as if it came from the freezer. Waitress did not understand the meaning of oak in a Chardonnay. The only redeeming factor of the "dining experience" was the popovers. Would NOT return.

The place looked closed which is a good and bad thing. The food was amazing and the views are incredible but wished they had outdoor seating to take in all the views. The dining area is dated and could use some serious TLC. The bartender was great but because it was the end of the season they were short staffed and the poor guy had the bar and our table in the dining room. They need to be open more than three days a week to get more staffing help in my opinion. The food quality was great and one of the reasons I would go back.

Everything about the evening was wonderful. There are a number of reviews here complaining about the building/decor. Yes, it's dated, but it's not like there's paint peeling from the ceiling or something like that. Candidly, the view is so beautiful, especially around sunset which is when we were there, I don't know who is taking time to look around the restaurant. The funny thing about this place is that we took the time to look into rooms they use for private parties and they are magnificent. If the main dining room had some of that charm, this place would be off the charts. Even as is, I highly recommend it.

The restaurant sits on a prime location that is not being utilized to its full potential. Having grownup in their parent restaurant in Boston, the food was the same, but the aesthetics haven't been touched in 20 years! The best part of the meal were the delicious mushrooms that greet all diners and the popovers!! they alone are worth a visit. The wait staff noted that there was a function room on the second floor that hosts functions. Hopefully the owners invest heavily in this potential gem located on a beautiful but, neglected property overlooking the ocean.

We have been coming to Anthony's for a long time. And my husband is very particular, he could dine anywhere. He likes this place the best. It is elegant and refined with excellent food, service and of course one of the most beautiful views on Cape Cod. I could not imagine a more beautiful place to be for dining and great conversation. I highly recommend Anthony's!

Food was good, I had the scallops which I really enjoyed. My friend had a lobster which she asked for 'broiled', I heard her say it a couple of times, and they brought it 'steamed' instead. Then the waitress went on to say that "that is how we do it here". When clearly on the menu there is a choice so that you can choose. So obviously she was wrong, but we don't argue with waitresses or chefs b/c we don't want our food tampered with, so we didn't pursue it further. And other friend's meal, rack of lamb was good but really 'under cooked'. I believe the poor service probably actually harms this restaurant.

We have enjoyed coming to Anthony's. It is in a word CLASS. The food is excellent, the atmosphere elegant and the service is the best. It is located in Yarmouthport on old Route 6A on the Cape. The noise level is low as well. LOVE Anthony's!

Second dine in 2 months; still great food and very attentive service. Probably the best broiled scallops on the Cape. Tarragon chicken special also very tasty. This is a well worn, old school restaurant where you leave your phones in the car(yes, the world will go on without you),sit back, relax and enjoy actual conversation with your dining companions for a couple of hours.
