We had dinner for Father's Day and really loved the food. We didn't realize that it was a set menu before we got there but there were plenty of things to pick from, all delicious!
This is our favorite restaurant in our area, Anthony's food is always great
I had an incredible meal at Anthony's on Saturday 6/9. I had booked well in advance for a Saturday at 7 pm reservation. My very minor complaint stems from the fact that we arrived a few minutes early for the reservation, and our table wasn't ready, but our table still wasn't ready until about 7:10. (This was all fine since we were on a date and we sat outside and talked and weren't in a hurry but it is something to take note of.) When we were seated we overheard a waitress tell another group of guests that they could change their table because the rest of the room was not booked for the evening. So our table wasn't ready despite it not being a full house.
That being said, the meal could not have been better! I got the beef ragu which was delicious, my date got the ribeye which was cooked PERFECTLY and delicious as well. We shared an antipasto plate which was huge. Heck, all of the portions were huge. Everything was very well seasoned and not overly salty or bland. We had tiramisu and chocolate cheesecake for dessert and both were delicious. Our waiter was attentive and gave us plenty of time to talk. The meal was paced well. I feel like the value was spot on. Highly recommend!
The Burrata salad was incredible and we had the striper filet special that was delicious.
The very good food made up for the hideous service
AS ALWAYS, FOOD IS CONSISTENTLY GREAT. ALL FOUR OF MY GUESTS SAID THEY WERE PLANNING TO COME BACK.
Awesome ....Craig was our server...and we are always treated like family...they always so accommodating ...I’m vegan and I always get a great vegan meal...thank you
The food is always very good but the service leaves much to be desired! We keep giving them another chance but the last visit, Saturday June 2, was the worst. It took the usual 15 minutes to be seated, even though we had a reservation. Then the waits began - for menus, drinks, the meal took forever, and then literally 30 minutes without seeing any waiter after the meal was served. My iced tea had a fly in it to top off the night. Two hours for a simple dinner, without dessert, is too long. This is not the place for you if you have plans after dinner as the service is reliably slow.
Soft shell crabs were exceptional!
Service was very slow. Rack of lamb over cooked. Mussels were plump but needed more sauce.
I like Anthonys. The food is always good. But the service on Friday was horribly slow. Only 1 waitress, poor girl.
Dinner was perfect in every way! We are lucky that we can walk to this gem!
Dinner was excellent. The menu was a special price fixed, 3 courses..appetizer, salad, and entree. The choices were outstanding. I picked the sausage and broccoli rabe, spect wrapped asparagus salad, and veal marsala. Everything was superb. Service was prompt.
The food was amazing!!!
My entree wasn’t made gluten free. My stomach hurt so I stopped eating and confirmed the kitchen didn’t honor any of our special requests. It took them 35 minutes to recook my entree. My friends were finished eating by then. I told them to pack it to go. The meal still didn’t look correct so I told them to keep it and left. Horrible communication between the server and kitchen and poor service overall.
We had the short ribs papradelle, it was excellent. My niece had the shrimp risotto, absolutely delicious. Can't wait to go back. Service was quick and friendly.
Food was great, a little expensive but it was a holiday so that is to be expected. Service was excellent. One complaint, The Ambience was missing. Seated 2nd floor in the hallway with a 14 top behind us. There were open tables available. Didn't ruin the evening but the view was a corner wall on one side and the other view was wait staff coming up and down the steps with food trays. The hallway should not be used for seating. We would have waited a little longer for a decent table. But I do recommend Anthony's as a premiere Italian destination. (No need to cross the bridge) thanks.
After dining at many restaurants around South Jersey and PA, we’ve never found a more ‘gem’ of a place than Anthony’s Creative Italian Cuisine restaurant. The staff is professional and personable. Chef John Pilarz’s creations are always amazing and absolutely delicious. The ‘Chilean Sea Bass’ special was out of this world.
Everything from start to finish was great! We will be back!
Our three course meal was delicious. The selection on each course was varied & the flavors were perfect. Our server, Colleen, was the best. She was very attentive, friendly & knowledgeable about the menu. I would recommend Anthony’s & plan to return soon.
Anthony’s is awesome...we love it...never disappointed.. friendly service...and food is so delicious
One of the best restaurants in South Jersey. Have never had even a good meal...always great! Had the pork chop tonight, ridiculous!
The meal I recently had at Anthony's in Haddon Heights, NJ was excellent. It was a quiet night so the atmosphere was calm and the service was great. My friend and I both opted for the 3 course $29 menu. The appetizer, salad, and main dish were all exceptional. I had a ravioli appetizer and the mozarerlla & tomato salad. We both ordered the pork chop which our server said is one of their best dishes. It was divine, so tender with a light delicious sauce and served over yam mashed potatoes. I don't usually write reviews for dinner, but this meal is one I felt derseved it! The food was fantastic.
My second visit here and I love the food and service. Ambiance was great too!
Excellent as always
Food was delicious, the smoked tomato soup was outstanding! Got the 2 for $12 lunch with upcharge for soup, well worth the price! Portions were very nice size for lunch, will be back!
Service and food was fantastic! We try to go to Anthony’s for any special occasion we might have .
We have dined at Anthony’s on numerous occasions, but we were lucky to dine there on restaurant week for this dinner. We were both very happy with the menu choices. The serving sizes were perfect, and the food was delicious. A complimentary dessert plate was a nice touch! The service has always been exceptional and that night was no exception. Our server was delightful checking with is to assure our satisfaction and the bussing was timely and friendly. Always excited to eat at this local spot and will definitely return!
Was Resturant week and the menu did not disappoint!
I have been going to Anthony's for years, LOVE IT. Took two friends for the first time and they loved it, too.
My husband and I came in for restaurant week. We enjoyed the courses very much. The only thing that would have been better was the dessert. The waitress told us there would be raspberry bread pudding but when the dessert came to the table it was tiramisu instead because they ran out. We are not coffee lovers so this was a big disappointment. They should make enough to serve if you’re going to promote it.
Anthonys is our favorite restaurant. He uses great sauces, fresh and wonderful salads, delicious soups and the menu is always changing. Many times I can’t decide what to order because there are too many of my favorites on the menu. Great service and enjoyable music complete a wonderful dinner!
I continue to be confident with the consistent consistency lo of Anthony's for over 25 years. This is, bar none, my favorite restaurant!
This was our first visit to Anthony's and we felt we discovered a gem. Cozy atmosphere and waistaff was friendly and attentive. Food exceeded our expectations for Restaurant Week
I absolutely love this place! The food is high quality for such a casual spot. Always fresh ingredients, creative and ridiculously tasty combinations, with the best service around!! Their lunch special will knock your socks off too!
Skip the striper and have the salmon or the bone-in veal chop.
Disappointed. Ordered seafood Special (black cod). $37.00 and It had no flavor. I asked server to at least let the kitchen know. Since no one came out to see me, I can assume that she did not tell anyone, or if she did then no one cared.
The antipasto was huge and extremely varied and superb. Dinners followed the same path. My wife had raviolis with truffles. Wow. Dessert was also excellent. The waiters were the best I have seen in a long while. Ask for Colin. The only issue was the food came out very fast
