About Anthony's Creative Italian Cuisine
One visit to Anthony’s creative Italian cuisine & you will be hooked. As you walk into one of three beautifully redesigned dinning rooms, in a building that dates back to the 1930’s, you will smell the aromas of the freshest ingredients and spices, which are used to create the unique menu. This coupled with the warm earth tones & natural lighting from the oversized windows makes dining here a truly special experience. Outdoor café dinning when weather permits adds to the romantic ambience.
As you are escorted to your table you can’t help but notice the beautifully crafted temperature controlled oak wine cabinet which houses up to 200 bottles of wine. Since the restaurant is a BYOB, the owners wanted to provide customers with a place to store their favorite wines so they are readily available each time they visit. Anthony’s also offers the use of any of their dinning rooms for private events.

Anthony's Creative Italian Cuisine Ratings and Reviews
We have dined here several times and are never disappointed. Food is always delicious. Our recent visit was New Years Eve. Although the food was delicious, I just wish it was hot when served. I attribute that to being extremely busy. Overall, it was amazing!
Went here for New Year's Eve -- our reservation was taken right on time. The place was very busy and nicely decorated for the holidays. They are very careful to not crowd diners, which is a plus especially when coming out to enjoy a nice dinner for the holiday -- we were seated upstairs and not next to anyone until we were almost done and then a table was seated next to us. Our food was very good, however I could't give it 5 stars since one meal was requested to have the sauce on the side and it did not. Dessert was very good, although I wouldn't recommend the apple crisp -- the topping was really good, but inside the apples were in a watery syrup that didn't have much flavor. We would definitely go back again.
restaurant was freezing (might be a good idea to turn the heat on an hour before reservations) and we were dressed for cold weather. when I asked to move the server said No as all tables assigned (which made no sense) then 2 people came in and also complained about the cold and asked to see a manager, they were moved to the exact table we asked to move to. others were also heard talking about how cold it was. our server never came back to the table to ask how anything was or to pour our wine. my friend had filet and said it wasn't good, the mashed pot were cold and sauce tasted like diner food. my grilled shrimp app was good and braised short rib pasta was also but they are pretty simple dishes. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Another excellent dinner. We have been eating at Anthony's for many years. It is always good. Unlike many restaurants, Anthony often has new items on his menus. He is creative using a nice variety of ingredients. The calarmari appetizer was fabulous. We will be back again soon.
It was freezing in restaurant, we had to eat with our coats wrapped around. The wait staff was very nice, but not very attentive. Our food was inconsistent, crab bisque was excellent, but medium well steak was rare, shrimp risotto came with uncooked bell peppers and carrots, and was not hot. We had not been to Anthony's in years, and would not return.
I had the 2 course lunch which included the roasted beet and fennel salad and the Scallop special. Both were outstanding and prepared to perfection. Each had a nice blend of ingredients none of which were overpowering, and the pasta was cooked just the way I like it! I went away comfortably full. The service was great and the meal ranked as one of the best I have ever had! What a great meal to kick off the holidays! Thank you!
Food was delicious, service was wonderful. We had a reservation for 7:45 and it was very busy when we arrived with others waiting as well, we didn’t get seated until around 8:15 so Anthony had given us a complimentary antipasti appetizer which I thought was very generous and professional. Would dine there definitely again and recommend it !
Went to Anthony's with friends to celebrate my husband's birthday during SJ Hot Chefs Harvest Week - 4 courses for $35.00. Our food was delicious: shrimp romano, pork osso bucco, chicken saltimbocca - all prepared to perfection. Our service was excellent, as always. Anthony never disappoints!
Best Fall Harvest meal ... ever, hands-down. I started with a rich pumpkin ravioli duo and then a fig salad chock full of sweet figs, sharp goat cheese, tomatoes and greens. The hubs started with sausage/peppers/onions (made me move the warm, crusty bread so he would stop eating it with his starter) followed by stuffed eggplant (more reason to use that yummy bread). We both opted to upgrade our entree to the bone-in rib eye and boy are we glad we did. We both agreed that these were better than steakhouse meals that we’ve enjoyed in the past. Meal ended with warm blueberry bread pudding for me and pumpkin gelato for him along with large cups of hot, delicious coffee. All of this for only $41 a meal thanks to the South Jersey Hot Chefs week. Now I’m wishing for a South Jersey Hot Chefs Winter Week !!!!
We went for the Hot Chefs special and had a great time. The choices were much better than some of the other participating restaurants and everything was great. The amount of food was better than expected and everything that any of us had was above par and delicious. We will go back.
Unlike other visits to Anthony's, there was a delay in getting menus and confusion as to who was our server. I don't know if the staff was overwhelmed by the numbers on a Tuesday but we had to ask for menus and then felt rushed to order. The food maintained the same quality and, definitely, a local gem.
Anthony's is our go to spot for any occasion. Celebrating a Birthday, Anniversary or just want romantic enjoyable dinner for two. They also have a very nice private party room . Anthony and John take great pride in their restraunt and the platters they present tell it all. Everything is prepared fresh and presented beautifully. My favorite is the Chealean Sea Bass. My husband usually gets the Filet Minon. Calamari, Clams Casino and Anthony's homemade Soups and freshly made Salads our great starters. We usually don't order desserts, but they're sure to please. This B.Y.O.B. Located Station Ave. in Haddon Hts. N.J. Is a sure to top your list as well.
Went here for my husband's birthday and had a wonderful meal. We were served fresh hot bread along with roasted vegetables and seasoned olive oil. We started off with crab bisque -- it was rich, thick, and lots of crabmeat. Our entrees were veal marsala and local sausage with rigatoni; both were very good -- the veal marsala came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. We had to at least look at the dessert menu and couldn't resist trying the tiramisu and mixed berry sorbet -- again both were absolutely wonderful! We will definitely go back again.
