It was absolutely delicious. One of the best meals of my life. Amazing.
Delicious food and wonderful service. Our waiter was excellent, friendly and very helpful in making food selections. Enjoyed the meal very much and hope to go back soon!
We made reservations for a special retirement dinner for our long-time friends. We wanted to go somewhere different and had heard about Antebellum’s a few years ago, and she then had recent read great review of the restaurant. We weren’t disappointed. What a fantastic restaurant out in Flowery Branch. Warm and friendly atmosphere, nice bar and relaxed sitting room with a musician playing jazz guitar, where we enjoyed a cocktail before dinner. The service was wonderful, and the food...from our fresh salads, to the great appetizers.... to our entrees were spot on. We were truly impressed, and we will be back soon !!! A treasure!
All good. Service and food are the best in Metro Atlanta. Nothing to complain about.
Was fantastic when we first ate there several years ago and it keeps getting better and better with each visit
This is one of our favorite places to go! We save it for special occasions and special people. A must, Antebellum's always over delivers! Well done all.
Amazing food, service and environment. Great experience!
There were 3 of us and we had a 5:30 reservation. We were seated immediately and greeted by Christy, our server. She explained the formation of the restaurant and its philosophy of southern fare with fresh ingredients from local sources. We enjoyed our cocktails and the pimento bread appetizer. Christy pointed out what entrees were most popular and made some recommendations.
We enjoyed our evening immensely and the meal was superb. We were early so the restaurant wasn’t full and we enjoyed a quiet meal with some soft and soothing guitar background music. It was an excellent meal. We will certainly return. Soon
Everything about this place was great. The food and service were excellent. The only issue I had was the room we sat in was very noisy. One patron did not understand the use of his "inside" voice, especially when you are in a small room with high ceilings. Unfortunately my hubby and I had a hard time carrying on a conversation. Other than Mr. Loudmouth, everything else was superb!
We’ve been several times and were pleased with our prior experiences, but this time we were disappointed. I ordered CAB ribeye for 45$. It was 1/2 inch thick, chewy and unseasoned. My husband ordered the halibut for 39$ and it was very over cooked and dried out. We had already waited an hour and a half for our entrees so we didn’t return it. There was no verbal apology for the delay although my daughter was given a free cup of pea soup when her dinner wasn’t ready with ours (after1 1/2 hours) and we were also given a free dessert we didn’t order. That was nice, but what if you don’t like peas? Nothing was comped, which is what should have happened. Beautiful ambiance, but overall we were disappointed.
As always it was fantastic.. It is the best restaurant in my book in Georgia!
Only problem was the obnoxious loud individual behind us who had no idea of how disruptive he was to the whole area!
Great service, excellent food. This was our second time and it’s always so good..
The best, best, best. We had heard about Antebellum for awhile but just didn't get around to going there. So surprised my wife on her birthday.
Had early, mid-week reservations so the place fairly empty. Our waitress was (is) fantastic. Explained everything, and we had a bit of everything!
Fried green-tomatoes. excellent
Caesar salad (split it)
Sauces were incredible.
Great Jazz guitar background music.
Chef Nick is masterful when it comes to flavors in every dish. We have been going there for years and have never been disappointed. I try things I would normally not try or even like and end up appreciating his craft for the flavors he brings out in every dish. From the appetizers, salad, entrees and desserts all the best flavors and fresh ingredients and you can taste it in every dish. The Antebellum home this restaurant is located in makes for a great evening and a very warm greetings and hospitality are second to none. We absolutely love this restaurant and the people . On Friday and Saturday nights, a gentleman plays a guitar that sets the tone in the room for a perfect evening. Trust me on this one, you will not be disappointed. This past visit we shared the Friend green tomatoes, with bacon jam, brioche, fried egg, hot sauce and mimosa ice, followed by the salads, Local Butter Lettuce with pomegranate, goat cheese, red onions pistachios and lemon honey vinaigrette, and my wife had her favorite Wild Farm Greens with pimento cheese, bacon, pickled okra, tomatoes, peanuts, herbs and buttermilk dressing, I had the White Sulphur Farms Bone In Pork Loin, with roasted heirloom potatoes, pickled spring salad, mustard, deconstructed gremolata and buttermilk dressing, she had the Alaska Halibut, for dessert a Mint chocolate ship with ice cream sandwich and Check Nick was nice enough to send out Strawberry and Rhubarb Tart which my wife jumped on quickly with some fresh brewed coffee. That was our evening and is like that every time we visit Antebellum. Can you tell we are fans?
Great food and drinks!
We've eaten at Antebellum twice now and both times the food was exquisite and the atmosphere is quiet and cozy.
Everything was perfect - had the pimento toast for the first time this visit and will now order that every time! Great service as well!
Food was beyond excellent and the service was even better.
Date night with my husband. The salad was very bland. Lobster was fine, but nothing special. I’ve had just as good at chain restaurants for a fraction of the price. The prime rib looked great, but was tough and the outer seasoning was overwhelming. The loaded potato was good. The ambiance was wonderful and service was good. However, I don’t think the mediocre food was worth what we paid. I think we will stick with restaurants such as The Oak, Milton’s and Cotton Calf. This just wasn’t our favorite.
We arrived early, but were promptly seated. Service was exceptional. Food was beyond exceptional. The flavors were both unexpected but amazing.
Excellent as usual. The halibut was delicious and the desserts are always good. Josh is a very good waiter and we appreciate being able to request a quiet table. Antebellum is a favorite of ours!
We dine here for special occasions for the great setting, service and food. It is very high quality so while it is price accordingly, you are well served and come away happy/great time.
Very comfortable and ideal for quiet dinner with GREAT food and service!
Simply perfect. Noisy but that is offset by the character of being in an old house. Everything - food, drinks, service and value was impossible to fault. 5 solid stars.
Not a fan of making people wait for the whole party to arrive. We wanted drinks with an appetizer while we waited and were told to have a seat until our party arrived in it’s entirety. Just not the way a fine dining restaurant should operate.
Everything was great...service, food, etc. One of our favorite places to go!
Hadn't been here in a year or so and it was great to see the food was excellent as always! Great food, service, and awesome location! Downtown Flowery Branch is lookin great!
Great spot in the middle of Georgia... found it by mistake.. 5 stars all the way!!!
This was our third visit and the best of all. Excellent food and beverage choices, super service, and a quiet, intimate setting most likely because we were there on a Tuesday night.
Food was good and service excellent. We will return.
Four of us went to dinner - my parents were in town from Tucson, AZ, and we wanted to have a special dinner. We started off with drinks - all served in Mason jars and we shared the new brie appetizer. Our appetizer was good, but at $22, way over priced. Their complimentary bread offering is a thin/dry and tasteless sliced corn bread w/Jam, that none of us cared for and left uneaten. Our server was fun, playing along with us all and providing good, timely service.
We all ordered the filet for dinner and it was very good and enjoyed by all. Definitely a nice atmosphere and the food is good, but pricey. I nice break from the endless chain restaurants.
Great service, kudos to the collaborative staff.
Another excellent meal. Everything was wonderful - food preparation, presentation, portion sizes.
Charming Southern restaurant. I’m not a fan of the Southern cuisine but the Antebellum variation worth to try. Foie Gras creme brûlée is the most innovative way of serving Foie Gras I’ve ever tried. The Pork belly salad contains all attributes of the traditional Southern cuisine and was very tasteful! The food and service worth every penny I spend there!
The special was lobster and scallop dish was fantastic!
I think we have been to Antebellum six time now. It never disappoints. We have had everything on the menu and it would be very hard for me to recommend one dish over the other. It’s the best food in the state and honestly the best we have ever had.
This was a perfect evening with the ambience, fantastic food, presentation, and the phenomenal service! We celebrated our 39th anniversary, and this experience was truly memorable. Thank you to all!
Excellent food and service as always. Charity was perfect, and so was the Halibut! Great preparation and originality.
My dear friend treated me to a wonderful dinner at Antebellum for my birthday. The service was great and the food was divine. The gluten free bread and tomato relish are to die for yummy. We each had the salmon entree and it was delicious. They brought me the chocolate chip cookie in the baby skillet with ice cream on top to help me celebrate! I highly recommend Antebellum.
