It was a fantastic birthday celebration!
A friend recommended Antebellum, the food was fabulous! It was a very nice, quaint, experience! I love that we don’t have to drive to Atlanta and deal with traffic, this is not far from my home. I’ll definitely go back again for date night!
Celebrate 44th anniversary. Service and food were excellent. This is one of our favorite restaurants.
Lovely restaurant set inside an old house. My foodie friends and I ordered three different courses and loved every one. I especially loved the deviled egg toast. The pound cake dessert was decadent. The head chef came out to say hello. Very nice touch. Flowery Branch is a drive from Atlanta. My friends and I live in Johns Creek, which is north of the city, and it took us 30-35 minutes to get there. They have great specialty cocktails. And our waiter was terrific.
Had a great time for our anniversary. Food was just delicious.
Always love eating here. The fried green tomatoes for starters is always delicious and any entree is a solid choice. We had the flat iron steak, excellent. Good seating area near the bar to relax for after dinner coffee with live guitar music.
Our dining experience was amazing!!! Victoria, our server, was outstanding! We will be back!
Delicious meal and great place for a special romantic occasion.
Absolutely wonderful! Food, service, ambience... all perfection. Antebellum is one of our absolute favorites. Well worth the trip.
My daughter and 4 ladies celebrating her birthday and it was wonderful! Can’t wait to come back!
The food and service were absolutely perfect...as usual.
We had an amazing dinner!
Thanks to antebellum team, their food and the quality of the service, everything was great!
Great meal in a quiet and quaint setting. Knowledge and friendly server, promp service, vast coctail list, local food. Wonderful date night for some tasy food, including the best scallops I've ever had. Pricy, but you pay for quality. One of my top 10 dining experiences, and defIntel my favorite in the greater Atlanta area.
Best restaurant in Atlanta outside the perimeter. The food and flavor is incredible. The menu favorites are staples and very good, but I especially enjoyed the foie gras Creme brûlée appetizer special. It was the most delicious dish creation of foie gras I have ever tasted. The shrimp and grits were also the best I’ve ever tasted. The quality of the food makes up for a lack of restaurant ambiance. My only negative is that they don’t use crystal wine glasses. I brought a $200 bottle of wine and it deserved better wine glasses. A great wine glass makes all the difference. The service was great. She knew the menu inside and out. The chocolate bread pudding was decadent. We will return again.
Alway amazing! All the apps are great, but the deviled egg toast we had tonight was fantastic! Always get the salmon, even though I try to get something different...it’s just too good.
Antebellum is a shining star in the Atlanta metropolitan area! That we are privileged to have it right in downtown Flowery Branch is nothing short of miraculous! The food is ALWAYS excellent and new menu items blow me away when I dine there! (Which I wish was weekly!) Antebellum is perfect for celebrating special occasions or just a lovely dinner on a cold winter evening! Be sure to try their salads...they are fresh and worthy of a review just on their own!
The flavors they put together our incredible. Always feel like I am around family the way the staff treats me when I am there.
Our first experience at Antebellum was in early December. We were so impressed, I quickly booked another table for New Year’s Eve, and requested our same server, Victoria. To ring in 2020, we both got shrimp and grits, which is the closest you’ll come to great sex while seated at a table. The Caesar Salad is outstanding with hefty shavings of Parmesan. Bourbon Bread Pudding was a special NYE offering, and we hope it’s on the menu for our next visit. Sileni is a Marlborough (NZ) Sauvignon Blanc with the grapefruit notes we love and expect from the region. Our server, Victoria is a true professional whose personality makes dining at Antebellum all the more delightful. We’ve dined in outstanding four and five star restaurants in the US, France, Italy and Canada. None was better than Antebellum. The crew at Antebellum has captured the winning spirit that earned them the honor of being selected as one of America’s Top 100 restaurants. Consistency and dedication to excellence will keep them on top of the dining scene for years. Yeah, they’re that good.
Elegant, but not pretentious, dining in a quaint restored house in the tiny northeast Georgia city of Flowery Branch. Been there on multiple occasions with family and friends for just a nice evening of dining out, or for a special occasion as this most recent visit was. While the menu hasn't changed all that much from previous visits, each time we've dined at Antebellum were offered a nice selection of "specials." And significantly the items on both the regular menu and the specials are beautifully and tastefully (and tastily) presented.
Always great food and service.
My Fiancee and I went there for the 5th consecutive year for New Year Eve dinner. Excellent as usual, the atmosphere was wonderful as well as the service. The food is beyond excellent, we had a wonderful night. Thank you Antebellum!
I first discovered Antebellum by chance in 2012 when I was temporarily living in Flowery Branch. Seven years later, it is every bit as good, if not better. It is an absolute gem and will make you look like a hero when you introduce your friends and loved ones to it. Absolutely worth the drive no matter where you’re coming from!!!!
The service and food is always excellent. For any special occasion there is not any other place We would rather celebrate than Antebellum. It is our favorite restaurant and never fails to surpass our expectations.
We’ve celebrated our anniversary here for the past two years and I think we have found ourselves a new tradition! Seriously cannot say enough good stuff about this place! The food is so good it brings tears to your eyes and the service is fantastic! The best two meals I’ve ever eaten in my life!
Always exceptional food and service.
My husband and I love coming to this restaurant for date nights. Only 20 minutes away and the food is delicious. The ambience and servers are wonderful. Glad to have Antebellum so close to home. We will be back again!
Very nice. Great service, delicious food. Not in the class with French Laundry but clearly among the best in Ga.
Our favorite special occasion place to celebrate! Roland was an excellent server & of course all that Chef Nick prepares is scrumptious! Loved the new baked brie appetizer.
This was not the first time I have been to Antebellum and it won't be the last! The food was so delicious and cooked to perfection. The two new items we tried were the deviled egg hummus appetizer and the Moroccan lamb shank with couscous. Both were to die for! Mmmmmmmm :)
Antebellum has always been our choice for special occasions. We would have to drive to Alpharetta or Roswell to get equivalent service and quality. Their menu is consistent and wait staff very knowledgeable about the menu and wines.
Absolutely the most wonderful place to eat. Ambiance is superb and the food is unbelievably good. My fiancee loves this place as well.
Our favorite date night restaurant. Never disappoints. Could order by pointing to menu items blindfolded and love whatever comes out.
Always excellent!! 💕
Given the reviews, I expected to have a great experience and I was not disappointed. All four of us absolutely enjoyed the entire evening. The food was delicious!!
Super enjoyable as always.
Service was impeccable & as always the food was delicious. Always an enjoyable experience.
Consistently outstanding. Food service and atmosphere.
Great first visit for our 22nd Anniversary. Highly recommend! Be sure not to leave until you try the fried green tomatoes with Bacon Jam!
Once again...and as always...Antebellum never disappoints. We feel as though it's more than just having a meal but rather an experience. We're made to feel very welcomed and that includes the great care and service (thank you, Roland!) as well as enjoying the awesome cuisine by talented Chef Nick. We each had the special which was the Country Fried Steak dish. I don't usually eat steak and the other "sides" that are served with it but this is one dish not to be missed. Yum! The steak came with collards, bacon, tomato gravy, potato dumplings and jus. We recommend Antebellum and are looking forward to our next experience. That just doesn't happen often enough!
Cocktails were amazing, really liked the grapefruit tequila. Pimento cheese appetizer was very good. Entrees were perfectly prepared, especially the scallops. Creme brûlée was the perfect end to a dinner that will be remembered for years to come. There is a reason this is one of the top rated restaurants in the country.
