Given the reviews, I expected to have a great experience and I was not disappointed. All four of us absolutely enjoyed the entire evening. The food was delicious!!
Super enjoyable as always.
Service was impeccable & as always the food was delicious. Always an enjoyable experience.
Consistently outstanding. Food service and atmosphere.
Great first visit for our 22nd Anniversary. Highly recommend! Be sure not to leave until you try the fried green tomatoes with Bacon Jam!
Once again...and as always...Antebellum never disappoints. We feel as though it's more than just having a meal but rather an experience. We're made to feel very welcomed and that includes the great care and service (thank you, Roland!) as well as enjoying the awesome cuisine by talented Chef Nick. We each had the special which was the Country Fried Steak dish. I don't usually eat steak and the other "sides" that are served with it but this is one dish not to be missed. Yum! The steak came with collards, bacon, tomato gravy, potato dumplings and jus. We recommend Antebellum and are looking forward to our next experience. That just doesn't happen often enough!
Cocktails were amazing, really liked the grapefruit tequila. Pimento cheese appetizer was very good. Entrees were perfectly prepared, especially the scallops. Creme brûlée was the perfect end to a dinner that will be remembered for years to come. There is a reason this is one of the top rated restaurants in the country.
Once again Antebellum delivers an outstanding dining experience!
My flat iron steak was extremely tender and full of flavor. My wife had the salmon which was cooked to perfection while my daughter had the scallops which were super fresh and perfectly prepared.
One of our favorite restaurants!
We go there quite a bit and every experience is never a disappointment. Great food, even better service.
As usual every thing was outstanding. The service, the food, the ambiance. We’ve consistently said every time we dine at Antebellum that it was the best. And it’s in our town we don’t have to drive to Atlanta or Buckhead!!
We visited Antebellum for our anniversary celebration and could not have been more pleased with our experience! We were welcomed with a complimentary champagne toast to start the evening. We then moved onto appetizers - the friend green tomatoes and deviled egg toast were both outstanding! For entrees we had the lamb shank and the scallops, both cooked to perfection by Chef Nick. The lamb was literally falling off the bone and the scallops were so flavorful. We finished with dessert and coffee. Don't miss out on the chocolate bread pudding or the pecan tart! The whole evening was perfect, start to finish. Antebellum is truly a gem in charming Flowery Branch! Thank you, Chef Nick and Alison, for a wonderful anniversary dinner!
The best. One of our top “go to” restaurants. Southern charm and Chef Nick is the best with fresh ingredients and amazing flavors coupled with great service. Feels like family.
"If you have to ask" or you will never be disappointed- simply white linen dining in the country.
It was a rainy Thursday night in Georgia and some people cancelled their reservations. Consequently we were the first guests to arrive and had the restaurant to ourselves for a few moments. This was a last minute reservation for us as we had seen on Facebook that Chef Nick was making my favorite, country fried steak. If you have not had this before, you are missing out. As always, they did not disappoint. The flavors in every dish in every course were perfect. The service and the entire staff there are always on top of things, friendly and my wife and I genuinely enjoy visiting Antebellum.
Great small town find! Even though we were an hour early, we were seated right away. Wait staff made accurate recommendations. Chocolate bread pudding was light as a feather! Will visit again.
Pretty nice, would go again. Kinda
Pricey but good food and decent ambiance.
We enjoyed our dinner with friends very much. The only negative was a large noisy table next to us; we could hardly have a conversation because of their noise. If large groups could be separated from the smaller tables, it would be more enjoyable.
Another fabulous experience at Antebellum! Last night I took my daughter to Antebellum to celebrate her 28th birthday. What a fabulous meal we had! We tried Chef’s new appetizer, very modestly describe as “Deviled Egg Spread.” Hang on….this ain’t your Mama’s deviled egg! In true Chef Nick style, this deviled egg spread was launched to new culinary dimensions! Light and fluffy deviled egg “whip” on the most deliciously grilled toast (brioche??), and embellished with colorful and flavorful toppings….Tasso ham, delicious Peppadews, celery, a bit of parsley and I can’t even begin to guess at the seasonings. Absolutely delicious and presented like a work of art on a slate platter with a nice line of extra toppings….bonus! We also indulged in our favorite Triple Cream Baked Brie…so delicious and flavorful, with a tantalizing combinations of flavors and textures, and warm and cool temperatures…if you haven’t tried this appetizer, you’re truly missing out. Our entrees included the Grilled Atlantic Salmon – another masterpiece of perfectly paired flavors and textures with the salmon cooked to perfection, and the Flat Iron steak – beautifully prepared, tender and delicious in a savory sauce with turnips and mushrooms….absolutely delicious. We ended our meal with cheesecake with winter fruit and lemon curd – a perfect blend of flavors, and the crème brulee with a blueberry topping and a hint of powdered sugar. Last, but not least, perfect and seamless service by the amazing Charity – who always makes our visits to Antebellum extra special!
Birthday for a close family friend. As always, the Antebellum was a fine-dining experience.
Jennifer, our server was outstanding. Attentive but not intrusive. We enjoyed the complimentary champagne for our 43rd anniversary and we ordered the chief’s special which was awesome. We come here for special occasions because we consider this restaurant special. We have never been disappointed.
Referred by a co-worker that dines here regularly. Food was amazing. Very nice quiet atmostphere. Went here for my wife's birthday. She ordered the scallops and I ordered the shrimp and grits. Initially started with the brie appetizer and potato soup and everything was exceptional. Service was impeccable as well and I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for very good southern cuisine.
Perfect place for an anniversary. Amazing food and good drinks to make the occasion special.
Enjoyed our dinner very much-
food was excellent, enjoyed conversation with our server Jennifer,
Love Antebellum and will be back, but our dinner the other night was off a bit. Server was great, but it took awhile for the entree’s to come and they were lukewarm. Salad freshness was good, but a little dry. Normally this place blows us away every time.
Excellent service and delicious food with unique and fresh ingredients in a very quaint atomospher.
Outstanding food and service. It was our anniversary, and "Rolland" our waiter was amazing. It was our first time their and we have added to the top of our favorites lists. One of the finest meals we have ever had throughout the world.
Awesome!! Best dinner in a long time!! Will be going back soon!!!
Everything was completely on point from the service to the food. I very highly recommend this place
Always great food. They never disappoint. Highlights: sauce on the flatiron steak, salmon, Brie appetizer, fried green tomatoes, duck entree. Only complaint: it’s always loud in there. All hard surfaces, no curtains
Just awesome, as always.
We have eaten there six times and each time we have been blown away by our meals. The staff has always gone above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our evening. Do not let the fact that Antebellum is OTP keep you from treating your palate to an amazing meal.
Antebellum was great. The service was excellent.
Wonderful! After eating in great restaurants in big cities throughout the country, Antebellum is still one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
As always, Antebellum doesn't disappoint. Excellent staff and food yet feels like home!
Had a great meal and service was fantastic. Love this place.
Every plate was a presented beautifully and tasted even better. A wonderful culinary experience. We will be back.
Always excellent! Charity and team are so focused on great service!! The food is fantastic what more can anyone ask for. Absolutely love Antebellums!!
We love it here every single time. The staff is phenomenal and the food always on point. We always get the Fried Green Tomato stack with brioche and bacon jam with egg on top and the pimento cheese bread with arugula and pickled onions. We had the Peach salad, Duck and Salmon which were all perfection.
Halibut was fabulous! Service felt a bit rushed.
