The salad I got had Salmon on it. That was a surprise to me. I thought the Mashed potatoes we excellent!
Food is good but the cheesecake was a disappointment. Waiter didn’t really come around much and we waited awhile to get his attention.
The house speciality vegan pasta was amazing! Live music was very pleasant and added that special touch.
If you want an excellent selection of outstanding menu selection this is the place. Good pricing and outstanding service. Every time I go to the plaza I make it a point to have dinner here at Anson 11
Love the Arugala Salad, Polenta and Wild Mushroom, Apple Cobbler, and Dirty Martini. Very good service.
Great ambiance. Great location for a business meeting.
Great service! Would place to go and relax. Cocktail were tasty too
Spent alot of time researching the perfect place to have our anniversary dinner. This place was highly recommended unfortunately it did not deliver. The food, albeit very pricey, was not worth it. The service was very lack luster. Me and my husband were very disappointed. We usually go to our go to spot which if you tell them your going for a special occasion, accommodate to that even offering a beautiful dessert with a birthday or anniversary message. This place did neither, didnt even ask why we were there even though I included it in the reservation request. Needless to say this was the first and last time we will visit this place.
Great location. Good variety with their menu. The salmon is excellent. Validated parking
Great service and delicious food. Such a great restaurant for special occasions!
Got seated right away, but didn’t get service for 20 minutes before someone asked if anyone had helped us yet. Drinks took just as long and the food was over cooked. It seems like they changed to a much younger staff and it wasn’t even that busy. Pretty disappointed as service had always been top notch before.
Emily was a great server. Like the new menu.
Such an amazing restaurant! Beautiful, elegant and peaceful.
We had our anniversary dinner on 2nd floor, excellent food and service, they even remembered to write happy anniversary message on our dessert! Would definetly recommend.
Would not recommend for brunchwe.ve had lunch and dinner there before and it was good. The food in particular was below what I expected at Anson 11, 3 people at our table ordered the same thing the Anson 11 breakfast 2 came with no potatoes and 1 with no tomato salad, the French toast was just to large pieces of bread and it was nothing like French toast it was extremely dry and 2 orders had the Nutella and hazelnuts on top the other had nothing. I had the rancheros montados, the tortillas were not crispy and it was suppose to come with black beans but instead was just a thin layer black bean purée in between the tortillas, sauce was a very sweet tomato sauce. The only dish that was ok was the chicken chilaquiles. We ordered 2 sides of potatoes were charged for those even though they forgot 2. The only really good thing at brunch is the coffee which was excellent as always
We had an excellent time...it was a great experience!!!
I requested fine dining area to celebrate my sister and her husband's 50th Wedding Anniversary. I had read the reviews about how wonderful food and service were. When we arrived, we were taken to the worst table in the house...right where all the waiters/people constantly walk by. I requested a different table and they finally did give me a well located table. The ambiance is nice but found waiter and staff rather indifferent, not very friendly or helpful. When my meal arrived, my lamb was cold and my sister's lamb was warm. My husband and brother in law both ordered steak and theirs was cooked correctly and they were pleased. I think it is a little overpriced and maybe if staff had been different, it would have been worth the price. Waiter did not come even once to ask how our meal was nor if we needed anything. I may try the downstairs Bistro but will not dine upstairs again. When you pay that kind of price for a meal, you expect better attitude from waiters. We were not even offered the dessert menu, we had to ask for it...waiter was ready to just give us our check.
Poor service. Like....horrible.
Great restaurant! We travel through El Paso on business and ALWAYS dine at Anson 11!
Cuisine, service and ambience are wonderful!
The only negative was the hard butter that was served, everything else was very good.
Sat in the Bistro, food was very good, had the lamb shank and the meat loaf. Both very good and well served.
We visited Anson11 before a performance at the Plaza Theatre. An hour and a half was clearly not enough time. Service is at a very leisurely pace, so we had to eat quickly and did not have time for dessert. Both entrees were salty but otherwise good. My cocktail was outstanding.
Great food. Great service. Very nicely paced for brunch. Didn’t feel rushed at all.
Perfect place for any occasion. The service is great and the food is amazing. Definitely a must eat when in the El Paso Area.
Amazing experience all together. We will return soon....
Great as always, quality never changes, always great food. The service outstanding as usual, Steve at the Bistro took care of us.
Will be back soon!
It was my girlfriends 21st birthday, service was great , waiter gave us helpful recommendations to have a more pleasant evening together, he went out of his way to take our photos , food was great , very chefy artistic, surprisingly i got full . Great for anniversaries and proposals!
This is the best restaurant I have been to in years. I ordered the meat loaf and it was very good. It was definitely better than I expected. The cheesecake was had a very good flavor too. The service was excellent and the waiter was very attentive. I definitely didn’t feel ignored. Finally, the restaurant has a great atmosphere, relaxing yet elegant.
Prompt professional service is appreciated
One of the best in ELP. Definitely the right food, ambiance, and price for the special occasion or dates with your loved one. Beautiful.
The best fine dining restaurant in El Paso area. Excellent food and service and second to none.
We have been here many times before a show. We originally were seated, we asked to be seated at a table over from the live musician on the patio. The hostess said it was reserved and we couldnt sit there. When we got up to leave an hour or so later, the table was still available.
It took about 20 minutes for anyone to recognize we hadn't been waited on.
Menus were worn out and barely readable. Food was not worth the price.
My cioppino was ok. Seafood mostly good but the scallops were not. Even more confusing was the fact that the waitress seemed confused by my request for a spoon. For my soup/stew. Not a great meal. Just ok.
Had a reservation so everything was ready. When making the reservation the young lady asked if we were celebrating an event. I said yes, we were bringing our 17 year old granddaughter to celebrate her birthday. However no effort was made by any employee of Anson 11 Bistro to acknowledge her birthday. Why ask if nothing is ever mentioned. That was the most disappointing event of the night. The food was good, but the Hamburger was missing something.
I have eaten here once before in 2017 and was not impressed with the food. Because it is right next to the Plaza Theatre and we were gong to see a show I decided to take a chance again, partly because they had an August special with two entrees, wine and dessert for $45. I guess every one else decided to try them too. We were seated 30 minutes late for our reservation and I was quite concerned about the time and worried that the kitchen would not be up to the task. No worries, yes the service was slow and we barely had time to finish our entrees, but our waiter could not have been nicer and served my wife a complimentary glass of wine as an apology and we were credited for the dessert that we didn't have time to finish. The real treat was the food! Our entrees were hot, tasty and very unique. The flavor of the meatloaf was subtle, spicy and wonderfully complex. I hesitated to order it because most meatloaf is bland and you rarely find it on better menus; this was a treat that I highly recommend. My wife's stuffed chicken was absolutely superb in every way and also quite a treat. The bread was crisp and fresh and served with a wonderfully seasoned olive oil. I am sure that the dessert would have been wonderful too from the looks on the faces of the other patrons who got there before we did. I am looking forward to our next trip to Anson 11 and am certainly going to make sure that we aren't rushed.
The service and food in the Bistro was exceptional. The noise was a little bothersome, but was expected. If we had more time we would have opted for Fine Dining, but we were in town for a concert next door at the Plaza Theatre. We will be back.
We were seated at a very small table in such a busy area we could not carry on a conversation; I made the reservation two weeks or more before the date. The seating affected our experience there
We had an amazing time! Service was spot on!
