This restaurant came highly recommended from a friend, so we tried it out. I think the menu was outstanding and very diverse - many good options to choose from. I ended up getting one of the signature plate, Meatloaf. I thought the meatloaf was tasty, however, I struggled with the sauce. For me, it was too bbq'y - not something I'd expect with meatloaf. It wasn't bad, but caught me off guard.

Service was a wee bit slow. They need to prepare better when there is a big concert next door at the Plaza Theater.

Service downstairs is terrible and inconstant. Have talked to management multiple times in the past and nothing has been corrected.

Below average. They treated my girlfriend rudely at the front while I parked the car. I notified them ahead of time that it was my girlfriend’s birthday. Knowing this ahead of time, and with a fairly empty restaurant, they decided to seat us in a terrible location. Service was not good. Yes, I understand that my girlfriend and I look young. Just so happens that we are both successful attorneys. The waiter got one look at our young faces and rarely came back. It took 30 minutes just for him to take our order. Half way through our dinner, the original waiter had another waiter sub in (without ever letting us know and after he hadn’t come check on us in over 30 minutes) so that he could instead attend to what he perceived to be higher class people at other tables. Our original waiter never came back. I usually order a bottle of wine at the beginning of dinner and order another half way through. The wait staff came so rarely that we never finished the first bottle. Our second waiter didn’t even know we had a bottle, and I had to let him know that we had been waiting for a refill for over an hour. After ordering our food 30 minutes in, it took another hour to actually be served. After 45 minutes of waiting, a (third) waiter reluctantly came to our table and let us know our food had been over cooked. Again, the restaurant was half empty during this whole time. After we finally get our food, I noticed the wait staff attending to a larger party to wish a patron happy birthday. They sang happy birthday to her and brought her a piece of cake. I assumed, being that I notified them ahead of time of my girlfriends birthday, that they would afford her the same courtesies. They did not, and continued to mostly ignore us for the rest of the night. On a side note, the food was above average.

We ordered dessert thirty minutes before we needed to leave. We never got it so ended up just asking for the check. Our waiter knew we were going to the theater and said it was no problem there would be time for dessert. We did not order anything that required extra time such as the chocolate cake. Rather disappointing.

Very dissapointed with the service. I had to ask for water refill to begin with as waiter just stood around elevator lobby. The rest of evening, the service was mediocre. Extremely dissapointed as this is a”fine dining” establishment.

Food and service was wonderful.
Only issue was that we saw a window table that had a wonderful view that was empty and we asked for it. Was told it was going to be seated. We were there for 2 hours and the table we wanted was never seated.

Food was very good. Anson was somwhat crowded. After being seated we waited 15 minutes until the waiter came to our table. Waited another 15 minutes for our wine, etc..
You get the picture. Either understaffed and/or poor managed.

I made a reservation via Open Table. The day of the reservation, I received a call about three hours before I was due there and was told the restaurant was overbooked. Obviously an administrative problem on their end. I was offered a table on the patio, which I accepted, after confirming it would be a RESERVED table. Arrived 10 minutes early to be told they had NO table. After I pointed out their double error, a manager escorted us to the upstairs fine dining area assuring us we could select from the casual dining "Bistro" menu. We were under dressed, but thankfully, quickly seated. The waiter offered us drinks, then returned for our order. When we ordered simple sandwiches, his smile faded and he said "OH. You are ordering from the BISTRO menu" as if it was something distasteful. We received our order, ate quickly, as we were now short of time for an event, and asked for the bill. "OH. Chicken and wine. Nice date" he said. While I have been to the restaurant a number of times, this was the worst service experience I have had. I'm hopeful it was just an unusual deviation from their standards as I hope to go back again one day.

We ate in the lower Bistro part of the restaurant. The fine dining area on the 2d floor is closed on Sundays. Cocktails were first rate and reasonable. Salad was fresh and delicious. Crab cake soup was very tasty but arrived almost cold. We had grilled salmon and braised lamb shank with polenta and roasted vegetables. Delicious. There's a public parking lot across the street. $4 to park. Service was first class and attentive. One of El Paso's top 5 restaurants no doubt.

We ordered the Mussels appetizers and many of them did not open. We told our server and she brought us a whole new order.

The Arugala Salad (I get it with Shrimp) is always amazing.

I don't know that I would recommend anymore. The shishito peppers were burnt. They ran out of the wine we were drinking the soup that was supposed to be from fine dining was too runny and inconsistent accross the table. The jalapeño margarita was on point. I'll go again to see if they treat the commoners better next time. Then will recommend or stop going altogether

The service is incredible and the food is even better. My first time here was taking my mother and grandmother to dine on the 2nd floor. The food was heavenly, the music was amazing, the wine choices were superb, and the service top notch. The most notable part, was requesting the best spot for us, and the staff diligently pointing out several options and adjusting for us to be comfortable and happy. This has not changed with the number of times I've gone back, excellent service.

My favorite restaurant by far and the best experience.

Thank You!

Although we had a reservation, the hostess was not pleasant and barely spoke to us (both times we were seated, since we had to ask to move tables due to the noise level at the first table). It seemed like she was having an argument with another hostess and we bore the brunt of it. When we met our waiter and got our menus, we were very disappointed: we had specifically scouted out the menu due to dietary restrictions and there was ONE dish that met our needs (vegan). However, the menu was different than the online version and the only change was that the gnocchi dish was no longer available. When we then asked the waiter if there were other vegetarian or vegan options, he said, "The salads?" Poor customer service; every restaurant I've been to in this price range will offer to have the chef make a vegan entree. Very disappointing as we were looking forward to a great meal.

Should have gone to Tabla! We went to anson 11 to the bistro and had a TERRIBLE experience. So unfortunate after all the good reviews. Appetizer was super salty to the point of being inedible (and I like salt), my husband ordered a NY strip that was maybe 1/2 inch thick (and that's being generous) - ordered med rare and it came well done with under cooked potatoes and 2 pieces of asparagus. The molten lava cake came out chalky and overcooked. Our drinks were decent & service was terrible. Only plus was the music and decor
