Great food and atmosphere.
Very good, we love this restaurant
Such a beautiful place and wonderful service, horrible salmon.
50th Wedding Anniversary.
Does not disappoint, classy place, great food and service.
I had made a reservation over a week ago for the dinner however, it felt as though they just added a small patio table in what seemed to be the waiting area, as there were people standing next to us watching us eat, when we got there. HORRIBLE! I would not recommend the Bistro seating for a couple as it seems that they place the small tables in very obscure areas; waiting area, next to alarm wall, etc).
Everything was perfect for the dinning experience.
This trip was to the fine dining and it was an absolutely delicious meal. The main meals (fillet and sea bass) were amazing, but the artisan cheese appetizer and side of cauliflower were the highlights of the meal. The food was served in a very timely manner, and to top it all off the service was fantastic. Had mentioned the meal was for an anniversary when made the reservation days in advance, and when the main course ended an unbelievable chocolate dessert was served on the house.
Have also ate in the bistro which is delicious in its own right, but the mood and attention to details in the fine dining area are great. Can't wait to return.
It was my wife's birthday and I had flowers delivered to the resturant with specific instruction on when to bring them to the table it was exactly how I had planned it. Beautiful hostess and great service staff. We will be back again Valinetines day
Food was great. The server was a little rude.
server was very slow with everything. Didn’t come and check on us often enough. Messed up the order. Food was so so, nothing to write home about . Overall disappointing
Outstanding, comparable to any 5-star restaurant in L.A., S.F. etc. but more friendly!
New Years Eve celebration with friends. Fabulous evening. Wish they were in SF. I’d go back anytime!
Sat in the first floor Bistro. Good variety on the menu, and the food was excellent. Had the housemade pappardelle and the A11 burger. Highly recommend.
The Fine Dining was not offered on the day we made our reservation. Bistro was noisy, wait staff was not up to par. All streets around restaurant were closed to traffic when we arrived after an hour's drive. When I called restaurant for help they didn't know or understand where we were or how to get us to the restaurant. It was "okay if we were late".
Very good food with a wide variety of drinks available. Perfect spot in downtown El Paso. Outstanding service.
The servers are always top notch. Beyond great. No issue here ever. The high top table that 6 of us were seated at was terrible. Too small, too squeezy, and the chairs are beneath the overall quality of Anson11. They make the dining miserable. If we are ever seated there we will walk out. Food: normally incredibly delicious. This time, the pastas were tasteless and boring. Everything else we had was the usual high quality standard. We vibe here very often and that night was certainly off. Thank you as we will be back.
Had a great time, food was amazing! Enjoy the atmosphere and service.
IT IS ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO GO TO ANSON 11. GOOD SERVICE, DELICIOUS FOOD AND A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO SPEND WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
I made reservations and had requested a certain area and we were accommodated as requested which was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and the server was friendly and professional. Had a very nice time.
I was quite disappointed by my recent visit to this restaurant. My boyfriend and I have been coming here since it opened and I'm sad to see another great restaurant starting to go downhill. In the beginning, the quality of their food was really at their highest. With this visit, my braised short rib dish came out cold almost like it had been sitting out for a while and it just had cooled down completely. I had to ask if it could be reheated. Other than my dish being cold I couldn't help but notice that in comparison to other visits my portion was much much smaller than what I remember it being. My boyfriend had ordered the Anson meatloaf and upon tasting we both found this dish a bit odd. I'm not sure if they changed the sauce or something but it wasn't as delicious as it once was I'm sad to say. Not to mention the presentation of the dish itself was in need of work. It looked as if it could have come out of a tv dinner package. So in overall our meal ended up being cold with a much smaller portion than what we remember and the meatloaf being less than desired. What made up our meal however was our dessert of lemon entremet. We really love this dish so much that we ordered one for each of us instead of sharing like we usually do. I really do hope that our problems with our meal were a one-time thing.
We've enjoyed the Anson 11 fining dining experience before, thus our decision to return for a special occasion. The menu was the same, and we made the same choices as before, but the presentation and preparation has changed. Possibly due to a new chef or chef's staff? It just wasn't quite at the quality of our first visit a few months ago. And the upstairs fine dining restaurant was very noticeably louder than our previous visit. We also noticed that while waiting downstairs in the hosting area to be seated among many other people standing there, servers with food and other staff were having to meander and pick their way through the crowd from the kitchen to their customers. It's a very odd configuration for hosting and serving in a combined area; kind of like waiting for a table at a your favorite breakfast restaurant.
Nonetheless, the Anson 11 experience is one of the best in El Paso, and we will return soon. Service was outstanding.
A bit dark, couldnt see menu. Initial bread was hard. Appetizer was GREAT.
We had a little trouble with our reservation but the manager on duty made up for it. She was the star of the night for us as the staff was a bit slow but she stepped in more than once to make our evening better. I've been here before and I do enjoy myself so I won't write this place off. Sorry I don't remember her name but thank you to the manager for making the night very nice.
Perfect, my date and I really loved it. Waiter (Chris) was awesome and really took care of me. Tony
When dining at restaurants such as Anson 11 (fine dining section)exceptional service is expected. On this occasion service was good, certainly lacking.
My breast duck entre was just under medium and barely warm. Overall rating would be good, nothing more.
The chair I was seated in had several stains noticeable even in the reduced light. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we felt like we were seated on top of another couple, so private conversation was impossible. The wine list and menu on the website are out of date. A beverage we ordered never came. The food was great, but for a three-figure dinner for two, I expected better. Next time, I'll go down another block to Cafe Central.
Had a nice dinner. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly even with the large crowd. We always enjoy Anson11 Grill.
We had a late dinner. We were all starving so we just ate the food that came out cold
Really enjoyed the live music that was playing that evening, service was amazing and made it the perfect anniversary dinner!
Excellent service Server Johnathon was impeccable. We never had to ask for anything
Food was great and so was our server. The hostess seemed a little bothered when we asked her if we could have another table since the one she gave us was right by the door. Every time somebody came in or left the restaurant a cold air draft was felt and it was really uncomfortable. She told us that every table in the restaurant was reserved and she couldn’t move us anywhere. I did not know that you could choose a table when you made a reservation, you just get the indoor or outdoor seating choice, not the exact table. After asking for the third time, she finally moved us to a booth that had been empty since we arrived. As I stated at the beginning, the food was very good and our waitress was very friendly.
Good location in downtown El Paso - easy to find and easy to park. We enjoy the location and the menu. The food is always prepared well and is delicious.
First date as a engaged man and it did not disappoint by coming here!
Pésimo, solo el servicio de la mesera fue muy bueno de lo demás de lo peor que lo que me ha pasado !!!
Very very nice...quiet, encourages conversation, very attentive and discrete staff, knowledgeable and helpful with menu choices ... loved the "surprise" desert presentation. Thanks.
We always have nice dinners at Ansons, but this particular one was excellent because our server was so good. We had a show to go to and he was quick and attentive. The is my favorite preshow dinner place.
Courteous and thoughtful servers. Very nice setting and presentation. First class across the board.
Another very good meal and service. Adding the extra tables for a busy night made it somewhat uncomfortable.
Dinner with family before a symphony.
