AnQi’s food is amazing. Filet Mignon pot stickers - yum! The new set up in the parking lot is surprisingly intimate and lively!
great food, always a treat. Ive been there a few times!
Absolutely fantastic! We arrived to tables set up nicely outside. It was cold but there were heaters, and the best part was when they brought us blankets!! The service was spot-on, and the food...so amazing! The salt block ribeye was phenomenal, as were the garlic noodles, tuna tacos and pastrami egg rolls! For dessert the banana fritters and tres leches cake were perfection! This was our second visit and we will for sure go back! Such an amazing night!!
The food and service were outstanding! They went above and beyond to ensure our menus, table, place ware and water bottle were clean and provided sanitizer.
It was so nice to be out with friends in these unprecedented times. Great atmosphere great vibe great food!!
Overall everything was delicious on the prefixed menu accept for the steak. It was a bit chewy so not what I would have expected but then again maybe Anqi just isn’t a place for steak. I think tender piece of steak such as filet, ribeye or New York would have take it up a notch and would have made it amazing. Our waitress was nice but did not come as often as she should have but other then it it was ok.
OK, this review is for the Valentines prix fixe menu $150 experience only. I've dined here many times and for the most part really enjoy this place. I also recognize that we're still struggling through the pandemic and dining experiences have been severely compromised due to alternative seating requirements outside in this case. However, the service was very poor and inattentive, except for the steak (tough), the food was mediocre, and the portions were ridiculously small and anemic, and because of that the value was extremely bad. The scallop soup was fishy - not just my opinion - but also the other 3 guests at our table. The ravioli, although an appetizer, was something out of a comedy - literally 3 tiny pieces, the size and shape of a woman's thumb. The snapper was so thin and couldn't even fill a quarter of the size of the small plate it was served on, but did taste OK. My steak was ordered medium and served rare. I tried it anyway, but it was too bloody. I sent it back after trying for 15 minutes to flag down my waiter - I even asked a busboy to ask him to come to our table. He never did. Eventually a manager came over and I asked him to please give me what I had ordered. Then the waiter showed up, at least 25 minutes after we received our food, without any clue as to what was happening. When everyone else was done, I received a new steak, that was now overcooked. On top of that it was devoid of flavor. Really disappointing as I love the salt block steak on their regular menu and was told this was similar to the ribeye they use for that steak. It was tough and nothing like that. As it was February and after the sun went down, we assumed there would be plenty of heat lamps, but found out we needed to share with the table next to ours - which due to Covid guidelines was 15 feet away. So the heat lamp was sitting in between the 2 tables, heating the immediate area beneath it, for which there was no one. No effort was made to appease us when the check came either.
we went to AnQi for our Valentine dinner which offered fixed menu. Given the theme of this restaurant is asian/vietname/french fusion, I expected the menu adheres to asian food related. It turned out to be western/california type of food. however, the food was still tasty.
Good menu for vday! Having warm blankets and heaters kept it cozy. Table side ice cream was always a hit.
So disappointing! My husband and I always loved the food here. We haven’t been out to dinner for a while due to the pandemic. We looked forward to our upcoming reservation. When we arrived we were greeted and sat in the outdoor seating area near a heat lamp that was not turned on at the time. The restaurant was not very busy as we came after lunch and before the dinner rush at 3pm. Everything seemed fine until we noticed that people arriving after us were receiving their drink orders and being served while we hadn’t even been asked if we’d like some water. We waited for about 15 mins before I went inside and advised the manager that we were being neglected. A female took our drink order and when we proceeded to provide our appetizer order as well, she stated she’d have to send our server over then came back 5 mins later to tell us that she was our server. We requested the heat lamp be turned on as it was windy and getting chilly but no one came. We ordered and when the food was served we were told my husband’s noodles were on the way. He had ordered the crab and I the lobster. He must have eaten half the crab and it had gotten cold before the noodles arrived which ruined the meal. Then the manager came by and asked how we liked the noodles. We were never asked how was everything from anyone in the restaurant. Same was true when we paid our bill. We didn’t feel like valued customers. The service was awful. We’ve never experienced anything like this at Anqi in the past. There were times pre-pandemic when we dined here and a couple of the servers were a bit chilly, but service was great and the manager then was always on top of it. We truly love the food but not sure we’ll be returning in the future.
You need more heaters. Cocktails need more alcohol. I can hear the freeway while dining. Food was great.
It was great considering the circumstances of eating outside. We were between heater so it was nice and comfortable. Drinks and food were great and expected. I would dine here again for sure.
First time here and it was amazing! Came to celebrate CNY with the family. They have several selection and hot teas and unique cocktails. We ordered the lobster ravioli (creamy), garlic noodle prawns (must-have), and Hainan chicken which was perfectly juicy.
Can't wait to come back and try out some of their brunch selections!
It was good, we went there at lunar new year Eve but there wasn’t anything going on like last year. The food was very delicious!
It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.
I brought a client here for dinner. Most Asian restaurants have ample vegetarian and vegan options, but only rice and vegetables here. No plant-based protein at all. We were a little disappointed to say the least. We won’t be back anytime soon.
This place is fantastic, from the food to the service it’s undeniably exceptional. My husband and I go here for business meetings, birthdays and anniversaries. It’s a special place, and we love it.
Great food and great service
Absolutely love the food here! Service is impeccable and it is one of my favorite places to dine at
Great ambiance and good food! Love their pork belly bun, that's
my favorite.
Food was cold. Service was spotty
Outdoor seating chilly evening great touch they had
Blanket sanitized and wrapped airtight! Soft touches with patio heaters made it quite comfy.
We booked an online reservation. Called to make sure the restaurant would be open because we live a hour and a half away. It was an automated system that confirmed they were open. As we arrive for my husbands birthday dinner, the restaurant was CLOSED. Total disappointment
Server was MIA horrible, took forever to put in an order and server was not good with giving keto options
We ate outside, and there heaters did not work, it got cold.
Two of the Three (Managers) were outstanding. The third one
was older heaver asian with a graying beard was rued, serly, and
not a pleasure to be around. He needs to work on his people skills.
Amazing job concerning Covid restrictions!
service was great and food was even better, try the bulgolgi nachos!
In short: incredibly attentive service, winter-festive ambiance, great food (don’t miss the bulgogi nachos and beignets especially). The River Blossom cocktail was a huge hit too! This was a great place for a nice relaxing date with that special occasion feel. Will definitely be coming back.
I called ahead to confirm my reservation and the person who picked up was very kind and reassured me that the indoor dining room was closed but the outdoor seating was lovely. She also mentioned all the measures they were taking for Covid safety—and my goodness did they really put care into it! I’ve never seen a restaurant with more thorough precautions and we both really appreciated it.
Great Ambience and food
Everything was amazing from the food, service, ambiance, and general experience! Perfect spot for a special occasion or even a casual night out! Highly recommend and will be going back very soon!
If you haven’t done the outdoor dining experience at Anqi, it’s a must!! They are currently playing holiday music and dining under the
Wonderful food served with a flair. On the expensive side but well worth it.
I must start by saying that we LOVE ANQI. We come for date nights, with our kids, birthdays, etc. This last Sunday when we came, everything was fine except the food was pretty cold. Our server was great. The music was awesome. I just wish the food would've been warm.
Food is outstanding, plus their service is world-class. The only thing holding back the extra stars on ambiance is their choice of music being played in the restaurant. Hip-Hop and R&B just don't seem to fit. A bit too "clubby" for us. Was waiting for the "bottle service" menu to appear at any moment. And people do dtress up for the occasion. That's another plus.
Lastly, it's pricey. We shared the salt block rib eye steak described as 16 ounces. Best we've ever tasted but sure didn't look like 16 ounces.
they changed the menu but didnt say that. so items were still labeled the same although they are now different. very misleading. we expressed dislike for the updated dish and waiter didnt try to make it a better experience. while he was very friendly, they didnt comp the dish that was misleading on the menu or try to recreate the dish we thought we were getting.
Amazing food and cocktails! Always top rate service. Many precautions in place during pandemic.
Noise level was quite energetic for the time of night we were there (9pm), but it was a seven person birthday celebration so we understood the enthusiasm. Next time I will ask to be seated away from the festivities. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience.
I wish Anqi was warmer. It was TOOOO cold and ambience was not like old days.
Very clean and sterile
Chris and the wait staff were amazing as well as Vivian. Food was delicious, drinks were incredible. We were celebrating my sis 40th and we couldn't have been more pleased with the service. Definitely will be back again.
