This is our third time visiting a new-ish bistro and every time we have been there the food has been excellent great service and a nice atmosphere and a great location!
Wonderful experience & it benefited the Louisville Orchestra. Thank you Anoosh!
Good food. High prices, Small portions. The service is always good. I did request a booth in advance, wasn’t provided one. I can roll with that. The prices vs. portions is kind of insulting.
Anoosh has the most flavorful food of any restaurant! I had the salmon and not only did it taste great but had a beautiful presentation! The only issue was the waiter took away the appetizer dish before we "I" was finished. You always get a greeting at your table from Anoosh, personally!
Our experience was awesome. The food and service were great!
Perfect setting for a romantic dinner. We had cheese and charcuterie for an appetizer. It came with orange marmalade, Apple jam, stone ground mustard and onion jam. The cheeses were Brie, white cheddar and Parmesan mix. There was a beef option in it as well. It all paired deliciously. I had a caprese salad that was Devine! For dinner I had the special which was Ono fish, broccoli rabe and risotto. The sauce on it was very complimentary, not over powering. My husband had the rack of lamb. I was surprised he didn't lick the plate. We ordered two desserts, bourbon bread pudding and the white chocolate banana cream pie! Both were beyond fantastic! Highly recommend!!
We love Anoosh! His food is exceptional. The service and atmosphere at the Bistro are always wonderful.
Special evening out celebrating husband's retirement and daughter's birthday. Service and food was outstanding. The wait staff were very attentive to assure we had a great time. The food courses were timed well so we didn't feel rushed. Was a great evening!
I said it was a special occasion Anniversary when making reservations and there was no mention of it at the restaurant. The food was very good but a little on the pricey side.
Whoever was in the kitchen tonight was on point, everything was cooked perfectly. The execution of each dish was there minus the pre-sliced 16 oz steak. It was cooked to perfection but once you slice a steak off the grill or cooking service the temperature drops unless done table side. I think it warrants at least a prompt. The waiter was accommodating and courteous in addition to An who swung by the table for quality assurance. Overall, well done, cheers!
We were greeted by multiple people. Service was fantastic!
We had a wonderful time at Anoosh Bistro. The food was wonderful and the service was outstanding. We will definitely go back.
Had another great meal at Anoosh Bistro. Everything was wonderful when we arrived, but noise level increased to an uncomfortable level as the restaurant filled up. I really had to almost yell to my friend across a two top! The good part is, it was happy, excited noise! The salad special was spectacular ( and the kitchen split it for us). I had the sole rollatini and it was wonderful. My companion had lobster risotto. It looked great but she said it was quite salty. Our server was good, but very low spoken. Neither of us could hear him even when the restaurant wasn’t yet crowded. I suspect he might have been new. Anoosh Bistro always has fresh, local and seasonable products when they are available. The seafood was also fresh. Original preparations, servings that are beautiful and plentiful, in a locally owned and cheffed restaurant. It really doesn’t get much better than that!
I brought a friend from out of town to Anoosh Bistro for dinner. She is very particular about restaurants. She was extremely happy with our Anoosh experience and was impressed when Anoosh himself (I think) came to our table and asked how everything was. Franklin was an excellent waiter.
The food is consistently one of the, if not THE best in Louisville. Service is excellent and friendly, great atmosphere and acoustics. Yum, can't wait until my next dinner there!
Great flavors, good service...we will be back 😃😄
Great-top notch, wonderful food and ambiance. Noise was a bit loud for our taste, and server could speak a bit louder. He was great though. We will definitely be back.
Always a great meal, great service, wonderful chefs
Food is always outstanding. I love that Anoosh stops by the table to welcome you. Great dining.
Everything was literally fantastic! We went there for my wife’s birthday we had never been before but I’ve heard good things. The food was spectacular the service was nearly unbelievably perfect.
Excellent food - halibut was wonderful. The Expression Martini was a great dessert. Very happy as were my guests with the experience
Anoosh is one of our favorite restaurants. It never disappoints!!
Very good place with excellent food.
The bread with a cheese dip (Parmesan and blue) was a meal in itself. We followed that with the cheese and meat board that knocked our socks off.
Entrees of duck breast and lobster risotto finished us off, so we had no room for dessert.
Another new favorite place on the East side.
We celebrated the engagement of my son and his fiancé. Anoosh and his team were very attentive and attended to us personally. The food and service was great as usual!
Excellent food and attentive service.
Very enjoyable evening. Anoosh came by a couple of times to ask about our food. Our waitress was Danielle and was great in helping us to decide what to get with food, drinks, and dessert. We will go back!
I was excited to eat here because I am vegetarian and ready all the good reviews. It was off to an awkward start when the waiter had not stopped by our table even once after we had been there for 20 minutes and we had to ask to see a waiter to even get a drink. We were seated next to a very loud table and we were there on date night so we felt uncomfortable even trying to talk based on how close they were. They apologized for being so loud. My husband and i left feeling underwhelmed and the food felt overpriced. The entire night felt overpriced. We will not be back again.
Very nice restaurant with a wide selection of dining options. My only complaint was being at a table for two very close to the front door. Next time I will request a booth or table away from the door. Other than that it was a very nice time. My wife and I plan to dine there again.
Everything, from the arancini to the bread pudding, was fabulous! I did not even need my knife for the beef ribs, so tender!
Always the best!!! On a very crowded Sat night everyone went out of their way to make it a fantastic experience. Food was superb-Jon Dory fish was exquisite!! And 1/2 price wine was the icing on the cake (actually, no! There was some dessert special, 3 different flavors of Pavlova, that really put their always awesome White Chocolate Banana Cream Pie to the test!)
Fantastic meal. My wife’s lobster risotto was amazing. My lamb shank, mashed potatoes and butternut squash were the perfect comfort foods for a rainy winter night. And the charcuterie board and red velvet bomb were the ideal way to start and end the meal. We’ll be back.
Simply exceptional. Comfort food extraordinaire. Service to match.
We had a great experience. The food was fabulous. The charcuterie board was delicious, but I'd order the blue cheese with it rather then the cheddar next time. The cheddar was cut up into so many little chunks it was hard to enjoy ther flavor.. the brite, however, was spot on. The wedge salad was a little disappointing. I love a typical wedge salad that has crunchy iceberg lettuce, this salad used bibb lettuce that I found a little lacking in crispness and crunch. The flavor was great. My favorite part was the flight of liqueurs that I sampled at the end, accompanied by the vanilla bean ice creamfor my dessert. I'd go back just for that!
Another great meal at Anoosh. Great Service & Great Food will keep us coming back. Thank you for making Anoosh special.
Beautiful place and great service and food. Atmosphere was great as well.
Wow! How has this restaurant never been on our radar for the last 7 years we have lived in Louisville??? Everything was beautifully executed, presented, and delicious. The owner was in the house all night, talking to guests, checking food as it came out of the kitchen. His hands-on approach is evident in the consistent, well-executed food. Charcuterie board, both soups, Wedge salad, Grilled Romaine salad, Lamb Rack, Halibut, Ciopinno, Trout, and Caramel Nut Tart were exceptional. Yes, we ate A LOT and loved every bite! Manhattan and Kentucky Buck cocktails were also good.
