The seating was not comfortable. For 6 people there was no breathing room even for 5. The server was not friendly, did not deserve the tip.
Great food and great service. We went there for our anniversary and were not disappointed! Will definitely be back
Thank you for celebrating w/ us. We look forward to serving you again soon. Eat Well, Love Life~ Anoosh
It was our 15th anniversary and I wanted to treat my wife to a very special and quality dinner. Fortunately, we were very pleased and will certainly revisit this awesome dining experience. The shank lamb was the very best I have ever witnessed and tasted. My wife was equally impressed with the salmon she enjoyed. The services as top notch👍🏾
Anoosh is always good. We had the Italian Seafood Soup and it was amazing.
Friendly attentive staff and good food. The cocktails were very good too
We are glad you enjoyed your visit. Eat Well, Love Life~Anoosh
First time at Anoosh was a very good experience. Took my wife on a midweek date. Friendly staff, courteous, and helpful with suggestions. My wife loves lobster bisque; she claimed this to be the best she has tasted. Duck breast and Cioppino were excellent. The restaurant has a clean crisp feel with smooth jazz in the background. We will return.
The Lobster Bisque is a crowd favorite, and so glad your wife enjoyed. We look forward to serving you again soon. Eat Well, Love Life~Anoosh
Overpriced bland food ...
No Air Conditioning
Must be a new owner ....
I am sorry that your experience was not up to our standards, and would like opportunity for you to have dinner as my guest soon. Please send an email to me at chefanoosh@gmail Kind Regards, Anoosh
Anoosh knows how to please! His lobster bisque is sinful, beet salad is outstanding , and his lamb shank melts in your mouth. And that’s just a sampling! Service is second to none. Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.
We appreciate your kind words. Thank you. Eat Well, Love Life~Anoosh
Our first visit and won't be our last! It was nice to see casual dress as well as coats and ties. Nice jazz in the background and an all over nice atmosphere. The owner wasn't there but had a gentlemen substituting and ever so pleasant. He went to every table. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing. The food was delish! I did have an issue with part of my entrée and it was addressed immediately and with a smile. Couldn't resist sharing a dessert which was served on a Happy Anniversary plate (that's what we were celebrating). Expensive but worth every penny. Highly recommend for special occasions or to take special guests.
I have never tasted anything as good as the salmon appetizer. The dab of a white sauce they concocted on top of the potato latke blended with the salmon was so special. Touche!
First, this is a small place probably seating 60-70 max. We had a 6:15 reservation and were seated at the last table beside the kitchen which is open. We split the arugula watermelon salad special which was average at best (I told my wife the arugula and watermelon got into a fight and the arugula won in a first round knock out). My wife had the halibut special which she like and I had the chili-lime short ribs which was good but not memorable. The presentation of the food was very good. The server was average for an establishment such as this.
The biggest issue for us was the temperature of the restaurant which was stifling hot. Again we were seated next to the kitchen and it was a 95 degree day outside but that’s what air conditioning is for. Either the air conditioning has serious HVAC problems or they intentionally leave it warm for restaurant patrons since the average age of the diners I would guess was 75. It was the same 95 degrees outside at our home 15 minutes away and a cool 71 inside. My wife had to leave the restaurant with her face crimson red sweating and her glasses fogging up even before we received the check.
Total bill including 1 drink, one salad and two entrees before gratuity was $102.
Service and food was excellent, although, it was difficult to hear and have a conversation.
We wanted an upscale casual dinner early on a Saturday. Great food and service confirmed that Anoosh is still one of the top chef/owners in Louisville. The menu is diverse and likely to pleased just about anyone. The staff is welcoming and perform their duties very well. After sharing a piece of the classic White Chocolate Banana Creme Pie, we couldn’t ask for anything more.
Outstanding from top to bottom. Truly sublime food and service.
The owner is amazing! So gracious! Food amazing! Love that they always have thoughtful vegetarian options as well, highly recommend!
Had the beet salad was perfect and had the grilled romaine salad had too much dressing on it would ask for it lite on it but still had great flavors. Mushrooms and pasta had great flavor.
Wonderful evening. Choose Anoosh based on a friend's recommendation to be my splurge meal while in Louisville for the weekend. Friendly staff, exceptional food, lovely evening.
Wonderful as always! Food was delicious!
Simply the best in dining!
Wonderful place to celebrate an occasion. Everything is spotless but the ambiance is warm. The food presentation was fancy but there were lots of American classic favorites to chose from. Great drink menu, professional wait staff, and the tables were classy with white linen and candles. I went for a business dinner but will definitely return with my family soon. It was pleasantly busy for a Tuesday night. Popular place so make reservations.
Anoosh Bistro never disappoints. Everything is top notch, the ambience, the service and, of course, the food and drink. Anoosh and his well informed and attentive staff leave no detail unattended. Anoosh makes all feel like a valued friend as he visits table by table. Our group of 4 were celebrating an anniversary, we started with ravioli and a charcuterie board, salad and soup, entrees of sole, lamb and trout. We finished with a delectable chocolate mousse and cappuccino. We enjoyed creative cocktails and a lovely bottle of wine throughout the evening. A beautiful destination for everyday dining, business entertaining and to celebrate special moments with family and friends.
It was so wonderful we came 2 nights in a row. The special attention from Anoosh and Paula made us feel like VIPs. Wonderful food and atmosphere. Our friends came with their 7 year old and she tried everything from escargot to Roquefort sauce. I asked Anoosh what he had for kids and he said for her to tell him her favorite foods and he would make something up for her. How special!!Thanks for a great evening!
Fantastic food, ambience, and service. One of the best restaurants in Louisville. Must go. Everything is tasty. The owner Mr. Anoosh comes by your table making sure everything is perfect. Just amazing.
Our exp was wonderful! Creative and exciting menu topped off by personal visit by Anoosh. We will be back!
The food was amazing, great recommendations from the staff and a kind visit from the owner. A wonderful choice when you are looking for a nice experience and food!
Always great food. Atmosphere is calm and quiet for a nice dinner.
We were there for birthday dinner. Outstanding food. Exquisite service. Warm & welcoming staff. But again, best meal in Louisville!!
Great dinner as always! Went to celebrate my mom's birthday and a late mother's day. Anoosh's food is always delicious.
Great selection, our server (Jenn) was great and made fantastic suggestions.
Fantastic food. Great service. Good place for an occasion
We had another great experience at Anoosh Bistro! Anoosh is an amazing Chef! We love to come and see what he has added to the menu! This time the surprise was the Amaro flight on the dessert menu...what a great addition. Part of the wonderful charm of the experience was Anoosh and Paula both stopping by our table to make sure everything was perfect. It was! I would recommend Anoosh Bistro to everyone!
We were at the restaurant at an early hour (just after 5:00) so perhaps it was quieter than usual, but at any rate it was a lovely atmosphere. The waiter was attentive, and other staff (including Anoosh) stopped by our table to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. In our party of six, all were impressed with the quality and presentation of the meal. It was expensive, but no one complained!
Excellent Food. Great Service. Pretty good value. I would definitely go again. The halibut special was excellent. The Arancini outstanding.
Food, service and ambiance were excellent! All three of us enjoyed everything, especially the White Chocolate Banana Cream Pie. We do hope that you would put the duck and dumplings back on the menu.
Great Dinner! Everything was top notch!
Absolutely loved every single course! Starting with the incredible bread and appetizer, we knew it would be an incredible meal. My ahi tuna was seared perfectly. The white chocolate banana cream pie ended the meal on a perfect note. Cocktails were delicious as well!
Excellent food and wonderful service. Full but not overly loud, just people talking, laughing and enjoying themselves.
Excellent meals and great service! Very enjoyable evening.
Oaks night dinner with out of town guests. It was absolutely fantastic-one of my best meals ever!
