One of New Orleans restaurants that still gives out bread at no charge. Best oysters Rockefeller and godchaux salads around. A must try. Great service and cocktails. Just go and experience it.
We had the pleasure of being served by Renee. He was great stayed in top of wine and water. Food was also great and made to my specifications due to allergies. Highly recommend!
Annunciation is a great dining experience, excellent food and attentive service. The appetizers are especially interesting with many unique choices.
Horrible service. Our waiter played on her phone the entire time. We had to pour our own wine and send my filet back. Not sure how you over season and burn a filet. Our appetizers were cold and bland. Bad start and even worse finish. After speaking to the manager he did nothing to correct the situation. We will never be back!
Excellent dish options, nice ambience.
First dinner out since the city reopened, service was beyond exceptional. Everyone made us feel very comfortable. The cocktails were outstanding, Tom Collins and Sidecars. I do think the roasted oysters had too much boudin and cayenne pepper. The fried oysters with Brie and spinach were perfect! The soft shell crab Monica was one of the best we every had. The Pompano and crab in brown butter is one of the best dishes in the city. We will be back!
Top notch dining experience! Wasn’t sure what to expect as it was my first time in a restaurant since lockdown but Annunciation did not disappoint! Highlights were the gumbo and drum dish and my old fashioned was on point. Full menu was being offered too. Looking forward to a return trip!
Our first dinner after the lockdown. Celebrated our anniversary at this special place!
Happy Anniversary and thank you for choosing us to celebrate such a special event! Please keep us in mind for any future dining experiences!
AMAZING! What a great place to celebrate the city’s (phase one) reopening! Cocktails were great - entree’s were generous. Carlos was gracious and attentive. What an amazing dinner!
We had a party of 9 everyone tried something different and loved it we had great waiter Rene kept the drinks flowing and with this group that was a challenge we will be back
The food was amazing but we were unimpressed with the service and with our table location. We were seated in the middle of the walkway and right by the door so the server was frustrated every time he had to come to our table and he and other customers bumped us constantly while walking around our table. There could have been some reconfiguration to avoid this issue. The server was also pretty snippy with us the entire night, which is not something I have experienced before.
The place was ok but nothing special. We enjoy the Chicken and dumpling appetizer very much, but the main courses were quite disappointed. Stuffed Eggplant was recommended as their signature dish and it was just ordinary. My colleague had shrimp pasta which was not that good. Then the bill came my old fashion was $18 because the waiter asked what bourbon I would like and I said please have the bartender recommend for me. Any the food was so disappointing and overall, i would never go back!
20 people and was fantastic
Great food and friendly staff, will definitely come back.
Excellent restaurant in the Warehouse district. The food was outstanding, drink options were diverse and the service was excellent. Highly recommend the Boudin Balls.
Fantastic! Will definitely be back, many things left to try
René always provides excellent service. The fish, the drum, was way too salty. I would have sent it back but that ruins everyone's meal. Otherwise, everyone else enjoyed their meal.
It was a little quiet. Apparently a lot of no-shows due to the parades. Nevertheless, the food was outstanding.
Meal was really delicious. The managers visited our table. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. They have a Ramos Gin Fizz! Very unassuming place, understated decor, great ambience, a hidden gem.
Great service - personal attention! One of the best drums I’ve have eaten. Glad to see this restaurant still serves hot French bread with dinner- at NO extra charge.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We changed our numbers 3 times and they were very accommodating. The menu was traditional New Orleans with a modern twist. Everything was delicious.
Great food, excellent service. A hidden gem n the Warehouse District!
Food was very traditional and not exciting or modern in any way. Good for the blue haired crowd and those new to Creole.
Great service. No oyster dishes were available due to bridge/delivery issues.
Server phenomenal, recommended duck and it was good.
Upstairs is quiet if you went that or if you want action stay downstairs. Great wine list, terrific cuisine, terrific service (Kevin was our waiter and he is great). Going back again tonight two days later.
Its our first time and it was great, food was delicious. We love it
Food was delicious. Friendly waiter. Cozy space. Loved it!
Wonderful food and good waiter - will be back
Wonderful food and service! Best food and dining in New Orleans!
Great food and service.
This place is amazing. The soft shell crab was perfect. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal.
The service is excellent.
Food and service were excellent for a group of 12.
Very cool ambiance and great service to boot! Started with the oyster artichoke soup and it just got better from there. My dining partner ordered the Trout and I had the Drum dish. Both were outstanding. Great wine selection too! Definitely a hit and we will be back.
Great time. Service was excellent. Great food.
Bathrooms are horrific. Table was a metal saucer that the plates felt like they would slide off as we had 7. All they had to do was put two tables together instead of this makeshift joke. Waiter acted drunk. Appetizers were not impressive. Only thing good here was the entree’s
Props to the host that night who made sure we were seated comfortably, complimented our first round of drinks, and even called a cab for us to go back to the hotel. He went above and beyond! The food was amazing. The oyster and artichoke soup was delicious, the Veal Anunciation was perfect, and the blue cheese dressing on our salad was the best I’ve ever had. I could not give this restaurant a more ringing endorsement!!
Food and service was fantastic noise level is a little much after the restaurant started to fill up
This was not our first visit to Annunciation. It is always a pleasure to go there and we very much enjoy it. Classic dishes mixed with innovative new ones. Worth the trip every time!
I had the steak and pomme frites. The steak was overdone and poorly seasoned. The pomme frites were soggy and dripping with cooking oil. I expected better food.
