Great experience. More people should book. Excellent print service.
Excellent seafood with friendly staff. A marvelous wine list with some hidden gems
I ordered the seafood gumbo as an appetizer and I only saw one piece of seafood, an oyster the size of a dime. The remainder of the meal tasted good, but it came out so quickly, I wonder if it was prepared beforehand.
Unique & quaint atmosphere. Food was excellent as was service. Highly recommend!
The restaurant was busy, we were next to a table of 8. Therefore the noise level was very high. There always seems to be one person at a large table who thinks that everyone in the restaurant needs to know that they are there. Our waitress did a very good job.
The food was very good. My wife had Shrimp Etoufee and loved the spice level. I had the Pork shoulder with Smokey Jalapeño sauce and it was also very good.
It was my boyfriend’s birthday and he enjoyed everything. They even brought him out a dessert.
I’m a foodie , and was told to go eat here ... what a waste ... service from the moment we walked in , until we left , where no one was at front of house to even say goodbye... oyster Rockefeller had a mixture on them that was consistent to cat food ... beet salad was nit at all as described on menu ... and the pasta crawfish / soft shell crab , was pasta , 6 small crawfish tails and one fried soft shell crab on top of entire bowl ... overall very disappointing, and we felt “rushed “, our reservation was at 8:30 , and we were in a can leaving by 9:15 ...not NOLA !!!
The food was absolutely delicious. The best meal we had during our stay in NOLA. The service could have been better. Our server was new and while she was attentive, she wasn't managing her tables well. The kitchen was exceptionally slow.
Food was creative and well prepared, the service was way too fast. Our entrees came out just as they were picking up our salads. Wait staff needs to be more friends engaging and helpful.
The server was not knowledgeable about gluten and tried to sell me on pasta, but did t think they had a gluten free pasta. I got a wedge salad that had a couple of bacon crumbles and about as much blue cheese for $12. Three people at our table ordered the same meal, all three came out differently.
Best dining experience I had while in NOLA - bar staff is outstanding !
Mackenzie was knowledgeable, pleasant, Attentive. Food was excellent esp the shrimp etouffe. The moutarde salad was strong. Could not finish, but that was what I ordered. Oyster appetizers were here excellent. We would return
I wouldn’t go back.
Very nice restaurant in the Warehouse District. Sam did a great job as our waiter. This was not our first visit and it won't be our last.
Me and 7 friends shared a delicious meal. Annunciation is one of my favorite spots in New Orleans and I will definitely be back.
Good meal. Good hospitality .
Wonderful! My husband had the softshell crab and he inhaled it! I did get a couple of bites! I had the shrimp etouffee and it was amazing. Just the right amount of spice.
Food was just ok. Cool spot. Good drinks but the food was not that great
Adorable restaurant. My boyfriend says it's the best filet he's eaten in a long time! Brought our 7 year old and, although nothing on the menu for kids, the kitchen was very accommodating. Would definitely visit again....even with all the options New Orleans has to offer!
Always a great experience. Garroway goes above and beyond every time.
Food was simply delicious. Quiet dinner and very relaxing
Again ,,,,Another wonderful experience,,food service, drinks,,,we will be returning
Rémoulade is a European cold sauce based on mayonnaise. The shrimp remoulade here is not made this way. It’s more of a cocktail sauce tomato based. The rest of our food was wonderful. My 82 year old aunt who we brought here for her birthday was very disappointed. We brought this problem up to the server, but he offered no remedy. She ended up picking at it and didn’t eat.
After sitting for 30 minutes waiting on appetizers- and no one checking on us- had to flag down hostess to put our food orders in and ask about the appetizers. After another 15 minutes were told someone dropped them and they were reworking on them. Fried green tomato appetizer had no taste or seasoning. Oysters Rockefeller were meh. The entrees were a little better -shrimp ettoufe and pasta dish- but still not enough to make up for the rest. They tried to offer a free drink or dessert to make up for the 45 min screw up but we were really done at that point. Surprised to see that nothing was taken off the bill. I would pass until they figure out service - so many food options on NOLA with great food and attentive service.
Great food but the restaurant was very cold and they were unable to adjust the temperature.
Food took forever and so did the server. Food was also very bland.
Great seafood and service was excellent.
I had a horrible experience here. My waiter was very impatient when asking questions about the spice levels. The meal I ordered was very spicy despite him saying it was not. The portions are very small. The final straw was the bug in my creame brûlée. No manager came over and no one bothered to apologize. The waiter snatched if from the table and walked away so fast I couldn’t even tell him to not bring another.
I would NOT recommend. A disgusting waste of money. It truly ruined my Mother’s Day.
The server (Rene) was rude and acted irritated that we brought our own wine (though the restaurant allows it and we were perfectly happy paying the $25 corkage fee per bottle). He was irritated when we asked for a bucket to put the white wine in and left us to pour all our own wine all night, though he poured for all the other guests. Three of the four dishes were very good (Shrimp Étouffée, Short Ribs and Drum fish). I ordered the Pasta Primavera dish with crab on top. It was very bland. I asked for crushed red pepper flakes and the server told me their kitchen doesn't use them and does not even keep them in the kitchen. Huh????? I was afraid to ask for salt and parmesan, which it also needed badly. Anything to give the sauceless pasta some flavor! I always enjoy pasta primavera but the only good thing in this dish was the carrots. The server was also obviously irritated that I asked for the additional spice for my dish. He was very attentive to other tables around us but outright ignored us. Also, the appetizer came out after the salads and soups were served.
Trout Almandine was spectacular. As was the Godchaux salad.
All 4 of us raved about the food. We've been many times before, and have even hosted a large party there; food has always been excellent, and is getting better.
Appetizer Oysters en Brochette were good, I enjoyed my dish Shrimp Ettouffe. My wife had the Seared New York Strip which was over cooked and tasteless. I tried it as well. Waste of $34.
Overall, food was not what I would expect. Service and ambiance were great though.
Excellent meal and service.
Good food with their new chef and service was excellent. We enjoyed creative cocktails. Shared three different oyster dishes. Best of group were the Oyster Rockefeller but others were good. Paneed gulf fish had a marvelous seasoning.
Worst service I have ever had. The waiter was out of his mind. He was so rude and made me feel bad for asking for season free fish. He took forever to bring drinks so much so we had to go to the bar and get them ourselves. He would mumble passive aggressive things under his breath when we asked for something. He slammed the burnt bread upside down wrapped in a linen where the bread touched the table and didn’t say a word and walked away. It was very odd behavior. There was a table that came in about 1.5 hours after we were sat and we still didn’t have our dinner.
If you want great food,, great drinks and a wonderful experience ,,This is definitely the place to go.we have now been there 4times and it is the same results Wonderful.
Never a rush atmosphere, treat yourself go
Great food, service and drinks!!
Aleays a treat eating here!
Our first time here. We had superb cocktails at the bar before sitting down to a wonderful meal. Great wine list and an array of dishes that satisfy all. Cannot wait to come back!
Great spot that went above and beyond to serve us. We just got into town, they were closing (10pm) and still insisted that we could make reservations and order. Also the food was great. Highly recommended
Fantastic from start to finish! Terrific service, great food, and perfect date night ambiance. Already planning our return!
