Great birthday dinner, Ahi tuna, Seafood Sampler and Scallops...plus Lou's world class BBQ shrimp!
My wife, son and I really enjoyed our meal and the staff. Unfortunately we were unlucky enough to have eaten there on St. Patrick's Day evening. There was very drunk raucous gathering on the other end of the room (which was fine - they were celebrating), but several in the party were extremely obnoxious. Lost count of all the F***'s that were flying around. Not quite the ambiance I was expecting. Another couple with their junior-high age son were not very impressed either.
As always, the food and service was excellent.
We just happens to sit close to a very LOUD group. We could not carry a conversation becuase of them.
Even on an incredibly busy holiday, both the food and service were outstanding!
Great corned beef dinner for St. Pat's day. Fun place to eat.
Celebrated the opening of a friend's new business here and had a fantastic time. The half roasted chicken and filets mignon were excellent and the service was excellent too. The server even asked what we were celebrating and brought us a complementary dessert to make it special. We all left happy and will definitely be back again.
Another great seafood special Berry-glazed swordfish and Louisiana dirty-rice was exquisite.

We went for lunch. We dine here whenever we are in the vicinity. It has always been excellent in the past and this visit was no exception. We both ordered daily specials and they were excellent. The scallops over polenta just melted in your mouth. If you haven't been here you must go.
Went for lunch around 11:30 on a Friday. I ordered the "special" Fish & Chips (fries) and a side of slaw. He ordered the Chicken Fried Steak platter (MP, Gravy, Veg & Biscuit). Both were very good, however, I noticed some black stuff under my fish breadding in various places. The manager came around to all tables inquiring on the food. I mentioned to him about the black stuff and he said I will run to the kitchen and find out. He returned promptly and said it was just from the removal of the skin (kinda like trout has) and it was harmless. I told him I thought that was the case. I just ate around the black stuff. Fish was very good and not greasy at all. Fries were well-seasoned and the creamy coleslaw was outstanding!! The manager came over to us again and said "I am sorry about the fish and I am having them bring you a Bread Pudding- - do you want it for here or to go?" How sweet was that! That totally wasn't necessary but we took it! ha ! We had it later that evening and it was OUTSTANDING... they even included bananas and caramel sauce. Now that is how customers should be treated! That manager was outstanding in his customer service skills & not just because he comped us dessert but because he came around and cared what we thought about the food and dining experience. He should be commended on his superb managerial skills! We will be back for sure!!! PS-Try their chicken wings !!! They are the best in STL !
In my top five in St. Louis area. Wednesday evening we sat next to a group of ten men and one woman who were having na great time but quite loud. Lamb chops, salmon, tuna all fabulous. The potatoes are Unbelieble...

The food was outstanding to say the least, well presented and tasted amazing.
From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, it was a prefect night. We will be back again.

Annie Gunn’s is a dining experience. Expect outstanding food and service
First time getting a chance to dine here after multiple attempts but each time something coming up keeping us from making it in. Upon arriving, our table and reservation were ready so we were seated before our actual reservation time. Our server Andy was fantastic and have us the rundown on the menus and discourage for the day and had a wonderful personality. Food was wonderful as well. VERY large portions. Had the wedge salad and glad we split it as there were more than enough for the two of us. Wife had the meatloaf which was great and I had the the 10oz filet with asparagus, mashed potatoes and butternut squash. Have zero complaints. For our anniversary dessert, we were given two scoops of vanilla ice cream and a slice of fresh Apple pie with all of it sprinkled with cinnamon. Luckily we still had a little room left from our meal (lots of leftovers) that we enjoyed what my wife said was the best apple pie she's had since her mom's. Just an overall wonderful experience and look forward to coming back soon.

Excellent service. Food was delicious as usual. Had indicated was celebrating a special birthday and was treated accordingly. Perfect place for a celebration or anytime!

It took about 15 minutes to get a table. The hostess said they were waiting on the table to leave but the outside dining area was wide open. Once seated, We ordered the beet salad and wedge salad for starters along with the crab cakes. The beets in the salad were tasteless. The wedge salad was good but could have had more blue cheese pieces and dressing.
We ordered the classic hamburger with gluten free bun for upcharge of $2 and the chef somebody burger. The classic burger came out on two pieces of gluten free bread that had been toasted. It was a cheesy presentation without the cheese. The chef burger, with its special mixtures of meat was kinda tasteless with a lingering wisp of smoke taste. The hand cut fries were a bit greasy and over done. The server Tina was very nice and attentive.

I was not happy that my reservation was on on file. It took 20 minutes to sit down due to not having a table ready. The restaurant blamed open table. Was a big mess and almost ruined to night

Service was impeccable. Food is always amazing. Pricey, but worth it. We had some issues with the temperature but management was very responsive.
We love Annie Gunn’s, but would like some vegetation dishes on the menu. The food is superb!
