Excellent long dining experience
Annadele’s Plantation evokes the feeling of a bygone era. Built nearly 200 years ago in the West Indian plantation style, it is a truly beautiful setting and perfect for a romantic dinner. As soon we walked in, we were greeted by the owners, Trisha and Greg, and made to feel right at home. As we sipped our wine, it was almost impossible to decide what to order. I wish I could have ordered one of each!
With Greg’s advice, we ordered the Creole Turtle Soup and Strawberry Salad Ponchatoula to begin with, followed by Gulf Fish Pontchartrain and Ossobuco. It was all so good; I couldn’t help sampling my date’s dinner as well! To top it off, we shared an amazing Bread Pudding. There was so much food that we brought home more than we could eat there.
Annadele’s Plantation is special. Not only is it a beautiful setting and the food fantastic, but it’s a comfortable place to make wonderful memories.
Food was good. It’s clear given the current situation that Annadelle’s is using family members of the owner rather than a professional wait staff so the service was off and slow. Otherwise, a pleasant experience.
Food & Service was very very good, we especially like the Boar pasta dish as well as the appetizers
Perfect dinning experience !! The food and perfectly cooked and very tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, can't wail to go back!!
Reserved table. Great wine great food. And a 5 star fine dining experience.
The drum with capers and mash potatoes was outstanding. Great atmosphere wait staff and ambiance.
Thanks to Greg for great service and being my grandson-in-law's Best Man! The service and food was fabulous!
Annadele never disappoints. The food and service are excellent and we are always made to feel welcomed. My favorite Northshore restaurant.
I consider myself a fastidious diner. I'm not difficult to please, but I do notice minor deficiencies. This place knocked it out of the park. Not only was the food delicious, but every component of it was as good as it could be. I got the crab Benedict. The crab cakes were possibly the best I've had and perfectly cooked. The hollandaise was divine. The eggs were perfectly poached (not easy to find this). The haricots vert were even flawless. The Pain Perdu was the best my son ever had, and it was accompanied by top quality andouille. The mimosas were on point, too. Of course, the service and ambience were perfect 10s, as well. We'll be back very soon.
My husband and I have loved dining at Annadele's for years and always remark how lovely the atmosphere is and how consistently good the food has been.
Food and drink was excellent. Very personable waiter and host. Even though we were not in a hurry, the over 20 minute wait for drink order, another 20 minutes for appetizers, then 30 more minutes for entrees was annoying. Really torpedoed the experience.
Don’t know what the problem was. Maybe understaffed that night.
Food was excellent but the service needs improvement
My grandson and I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere at Annadele's My husband and I have been going for years. He passed away a few years ago. Now I bring my grandchildren.
It took me back to 1989 in a bad way the menu was dated dishes that should not be served anymore. The one waiter was all over the place juggling 4 tables and who knows what else . The food we ordered came out cold and not really worth the price . Please update the menu and tell nicely to the chef to change it or you should get a new chef .
If you're interested in exceptional food, and wonderful service in a very pleasant atmosphere, this is it. Dining at Annadele's Plantation is always a great total dining experience whether it's a special occasion, or just a nice evening out. We dine out a lot, both locally, and in New Orleans. I'd give this delightful restaurant my highest recommendation. They really care.

The choices of food were great, the selections we made were prepared very well and the host was most accomodating. The wait staff was very polite, courteous and spot on. We enjoy going there anytime and have always enjoyed our dining experience and the ambiance of the setting. Feels like home but not having to prepare the food or do the dishes.
Service was great, and food was delicious! Proper social distancing measures were in place, and the staff wore masks. Will definitely go back!
Celebrating a friends birthday. The staff and food were amazing.
All was wonderful!!!
Everything was perfect! Food , drinks, and service were perfect!
Great food and staff
This is a wonderful place to dine. The food is excellent, the ambience is wonderful, it's never too loud, and the staff could not be nicer. Annadele's Plantation gets an A+ from us for a total dining experience.
Truly perfect for any of the above...date special occasion business meal....friends get together...
Great food always. One of our preferred destinations for a great meal and ambiance. Highly recommend it
Annadele's never fails. Whenever we want a special meal, we go there.
Every aspect of our dining experience was excellent. We're looking forward to our next visit.
Post Covid19 fine dining experience, no complaints here
Loved the atmosphere. The Eggplant Alexander was amazing.
We booked Annadele's for our 49th anniversary. When the staff found out we were celebrating, they went above and beyond their usual excellence. It is my absolute favorite restaurant.
Outstanding experience. The owners were very grateful host and love what they do! Can't wait to return!
Extremely romantic. We got served by the owner, the owners daughter, and the wife. It was so so pleasant and the service was outstanding the food was presented immaculately. Outstanding flavor portion size was perfect we were seated perfectly. It was quaint. Highly recommended.
Outstanding service and the food was delicious. The blueberry cobbler with homemade vanilla ice cream was so good!!
Celebrated our anniversary last weekend. Great service and food was delicious. We were surprised to see their full menu and specials of the day. The restaurant followed social distancing and sharing guidelines. We felt very safe eating there with just a sew other couples in the restaurant. We ate at 6:30 which helped, they got busier around 7-7:30 when we were leaving.
We could not wait for Annadele's to re-open. We celebrate everything at this restaurant. The food, the ambiance and the service cannot be beat.
We sent back the gumbo...not done right. My salmon was very good. My friend's steak was more done than she would have liked it but ate it all anyway.
The setting was nice and pleasant to be around and was able to receive pictures of our trip to Louisiana. However, the air was directly hitting us and made us cold through out the night.
Mid-week break. Very good food and drinks, always. Less busy and quieter, enjoyed the coziness. Definitely will return on a Wednesday.
Great Food! the Wait staff was very attentive, the Chef came out to check on everyone’s meals.
After a rather bad experience on Valentines day, we decided, once again, to try Annadele for some of their specials last Friday night. Since we had been there many times and had previously experienced very good food, we were looking forward to dining. We decided to order the seafood platter, which is on the Lenten specials list. We ordered this dish before and found it to be quite good.
When we were served, I asked for Tartar sauce and was told there was none. The shrimp were obviously the frozen/ bag type, battered and fried. Oysters and fish were NOT fresh! A much better meal could have been had at a "Long John Silver's" for less than half the price!
I don't know what is going on at Annadele, but this trend can only cause the restaurant to lose business. It's a shame that this establishment, in my opinion, is on a downward trend.
