Food was excellent!! Our server was on point, great personality. Highly recommend 😊
Anjelica’s is consistently good. We took friends from out of town and they loved it.
I have been to Anjelica’s 4 times.
This last Wednesday I dined with 6 friends. We brought several bottles of rather pricey wine and at the end of the evening we were missing 1 bottle along with the canvas bag it was brought in.
Towards the end of our meal, we had wine spill which was promptly attended to. I suppose during the clean-up, the other bottle and bag went missing. Management did not offer to comp me for a future appetizer or dessert or anything. They did call me the next day as they assumed I had found the missing bottle and bag which I certainly did not. Would have been more professional to offer a complimentary something.
Service is a bit rushed st Anjelica’s. They bring the pasta course with the main entree which I really don’t like.
Food is always lovely, but the pacing is definitely off. I also feel that the bussing is rushed.
Slow down Anjelica’s!!
Let people enjoy a dining experience with separate courses.
The food was great . Even tho we had a reservation we had to wait about a half hour so that wasn’t ideal ... but after we finally got seated everything else was amazing !
Has a great evening. Minimal wait for seating. Server Josh was spot on! Only flaw was kitchen got backed up and our enter was brought to table 20 minutes later than it should have been served. Josh recognized the issue, kept us informed and made amends!
Portions are much smaller than previous visits. Ordered the special and ended up being $78 but the waitress never told us the price before ordering. Wouldn’t return
Always a great dinner, excellent service I highly recommend
The air conditioning was not working. Other than that great.
Very slow service. Sat for 15 minutes with no refills on drinks. Took 20 mins to receive the check when prompted for it. Waitress failed to acknowledge table when walking past a few times.
Food is great, however.
This was our second time here! It's hard to even get a reservation, they are always packed! The food, ambiance and service are impeccable..we shared the fritto misto and the meatballs..the food is seriously delicious!! I had the branzino ...absolute perfection! I can't wait to go back:)
We always try to stop here when we are visiting my sister-in-law. I would say we go here every time but always popular and difficult to get reservation so highly recommend going and, more importantly, highly recommend to book in advance.
BYOB so that is great money saver. Though they have outdoor "Vienna" side alley outdoor seating, we prefer inside actually. Always so many specials we end up asking to repeat. Go with fun people so you can try a few apps and entrees.
We venture up and down NJ shore for years and years and Angelica is our favorite, period.
I love Carlos. I love the gluten free pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe. I love the vibe, the staff, the attention to detail. I love everything about Anjelica's. The love of doing what is right is evident in every dish and encounter.
Always great food and wonderful service. I especially loved your toasted bread with ricotta and salsa of mango, tomatoes and prosciutto.
The food is exceptional and always consistent I have been to all the so called best Italian restaurants in no this is by a far the best in nj also the service is always great
Angelica's menu is always a treat. The specials are creative and fabulous. Only comment is that you cannot go for a late dinner ( after8) and find all the specials still available. That is the only disappointment.
Outstanding every time we go! No matter who waits on us, they all know the details of every dish that comes out of that kitchen full of really good chefs. Wish I lived closer!
Love this restaurant, but unfortunately we had poor service on this particular night. The server excused himself three times for extended periods while telling us the specials- we were confused and annoyed. Asked for lemon/lime for our sparkling water multiple times and finally asked the host who promptly brought a plate full. Our entrees were so late we would have preferred to cancel them. A shame because the food is consistently good here.
it's our second visit and it became a disappointment, we made reservation two weeks earlier and after arriving we waited 20 minutes. Finally a table, many items on the menu not available and we ordered something from the daily specials. While we were waiting a lot of tables around were unsatisfied, food was not good prepared and waiting time was long, We were still positive but after two hours waiting and still no dinner, we understand why people were unsatisfied. It is a sign of too many reservations and a bad organized kitchen. It is helpfull when waiters can explain but if nobody explains or come with a very stupid explaination the irritation will increase. This restaurant is not worth to be on the open table list!!
Al fresco lunch did not disappoint! Many of the same dinner entrees but also a few sandwiches. Casio pepe is always a favorite and the strawberry fennel salad was light and refreshing. Frito misto is an amazing starter and the marinara sauce is amazing! Carlos is an amazing waiter and the staff as always is friendly and welcoming.
Not as expected
Great. Always consistent
Anjelica’s 10/10. Amazing food and service. Thank you!
My family and I went to Anjelica's for my mom's birthday over this past weekend. The service was outstanding. We went for lunch, but our server let us know that Anjelica's was happy to have us use the dinner menu if we preferred something to eat there. We had the cheese/meat plate and fried calamari for an appetizer which was exquisite! The ricotta was so fresh. For dinner, I had the risotto stuffed chicken and several people in our party had the pork chop, veal and linguini with shrimp. We all ate every last bite of food. I would absolutely come back here for dinner with girlfriends, a date night, or with my family again. Thank-you for a fantastic meal!
Fantastic food with great service. From out of town and chose this restaurant based upon comments from other diners on open table.
Fantastic as usual!
Five Stars !!! This was my 3rd time at Angelica’s and once again they out did themselves. The service was incredible and the food was so delicious I didnt want the meal to end. We had stuffed figs, artichokes, carpaccio and charcuterie to start amazing, amazing, amazing. Then we had the bone in strip with truffle fries and after tiramisu. This by far is my favorite place to eat !!!!
8th wedding anniversary
The atmosphere was lovely. We had a nice large table for two. The attention from the servers was excellent. It was a Wednesday early evening and even though it was busy the noise level was descent so we could carry on a conversation.
Excellent food and service. Have dined here several times and it never disappoints.
Always good food and nice time at Angelicas. Hard to get reservation in summer so you really need top plan ahead.
The food was good, however, it was loud and crowded. Our waiter could not get to the other side of the table, we had to hand food over each other. I would have been totally ok with doing that except this was not an inexpensive restaurant, $8.00 for a scoop of vanilla ice cream is ridiculous. For the amount of money we spent on dinner I would have expected better atmosphere. In general, the food was well prepared, and we all enjoyed our meals, but I do not think it was worth the price.
Everything was outstanding - and the outdoor dining was a nice change of pace!
Angelica’s , as always, is a perfect dining destination. Food quality and preparation is always top notch. Seasonal offerings and specials are plentiful and enticing. Service is wonderful, friendly and informative. We enjoyed ricotta cheese stuffed fried zucchini flowers- amazing and light. Branzino filet and veal saltimbocca were perfectly cooked. Desserts light orange pound cake- scrumptious. And we met Angelica who came out to greet her guests before getting back to her kitchen. Thank you Angelica, again, for another wonderful meal. PS it’s BYOB ! Then take a stroll on Sea Bright’s new boardwalk!
Anniversary. Great everything.
Just started coming to Anjelica's and it has immediately become a favorite. All of the food is incredible, homemade and authentic Italian. The eggplant appetizer is amazing. Cacio e pepe is favorite. It is always bustling so try and make a reservation. The wait staff are knowledgeable and flexible. Will be returning time and time again.
Birthday celebration 🎂 service very attentive and did not rush you! Food excellent
The food was very good and while it was a bit noisy, the worst part was the service. The waiter was "lost" most of the time and we had to run him down to get things. He needs another profession.
Top notch Italian food
As always, amazing food, terrific service and great energy!
