Anis Cafe and Bistro
The menu is deeply rooted in the ingredients and aromas that give dishes from the French Mediterranean region their unique flavors.
Anis is comprised of an inside dining room and an outside patio area that is available for seating year round, and a charming little bar where you may enjoy a meal if you wish.
Widely known as one of the most romantic dining spots in the city, Anis is a great place to meet up with friends and can cater to large parties with ease.
Reservations are accepted and encouraged.
Join us for live Brazilian jazz on Thursday evenings.
A friend and I celebrated our birthdays at Anis. We had been there before and felt it would be the ideal location for a birthday lunch. We were right!
Lovely celebration with family.
We had an excellent server who worked very hard to satisfy our group.
Wife and I had dinner with friends from NYC and Anis did not disappoint. They loved everything and was a great experience. This was also our first time and we equally enjoyed. Looking forward to going back.
Everything was absolutely perfect. Food was out to us really fast and it was delicious.
Great food but there was plastic in my food however they took my meal off the ticket and also gave my table free dessert
Great atmosphere and a perfect place for a date night in Buckhead
Very dog friendly.
Other than issues with valet parking we had a lovely time.
I have been going to Anis Café for years - Very good as usual - Great Mussels . First time ever I had a Bloody Mary - Wonderful - nice and spicy.
We have been dining at Anis since it opened, many years ago. The quality of the food has remained the same. Always a great meal!
Great food, great ambiance,
Anis is one of the few one of a kind dining establishments in Buckhead so it makes going there unique! Tasty and reliable menu including a decent and diverse selection of wines. Love that it has a "menu du jour" which I think all restaurants should have! The atmosphere is fun and the service is always excellent! The owner should be commended for creating a very special restaurant!
Duck confit is one of my favorite dishes , and I am always searching for the perfect one. I believe I have found it at Anis
Great food. Started with French Pinot Grigio. Had halibut with eggplant, squash, and calamata olives. Dessert was walnut breading pudding with honey topped with ice cream. Friendly staff; excellent service.
Great service and attention for a lingering night out with a friend. Great food!!!
One of my favorite places in Atlanta. When the weather is in that in between winter and summer stage, the Anis Patio is an excellent option. Staff is always friendly, great wine selection, and their menu is scrumptious.
It feels like you have been transported to France for the evening. What a wonderful restaurant!
I have been going to Anis since it opened and love the restaurant. I discovered a magnetic stick-on "Anis" sign affixed to the back of my vehicle the next day. While harmless, I think it's a bit of a tacky marketing ploy on the part of the restaurant mgmt to increase business.
We celebrated my Birthday and it was perfect form the Martinis to dessert. The music was on the patio was the perfect background to the best duck I've had since we were in France. The evening ended only when we consumed every bite of the beautiful and delicious dessert sampler. Chocolate lovers take note. Do not miss this.
The food was really good as usual. We like Anis because it is consistently good and we like the atmosphere, albeit a little noisy.
You can never go wrong with Anis! Great food and staff!
Very enjoyable meal, excellent service.
Randomly found this place as we were looking for a dinner spot on a Saturday evening. OpenTable took us to Anis - and oh my! I am so thankful we tried this restaurant. Just perfect and delicious.
Especially perfect for the day good wine Boulanger and salads Nicoise
Anis is always consistently great! We had a wonderful "date nite", sat at a table in the bar (which is our favorite), and had beautiful food and drink. Love this restaurant!
We had a wonderful evening as always at this quaint French Bistro. The food was exceptional as expected. And the charming setting never gets old. It was the perfect setting to celebrate our 10th anniversary.
Been here 5-6 times; took a party of 8 out last Saturday; great service and food; waiter was outstanding as most are; a bit stuffy on the parking but it always works out.
Service was perfunctory at best. Waitress seemed put off by the fact that we didn’t want to order until we received our appetizer. The soda water in a Campari and soda was flat. My wife’s salmon was fine but my Ribeye was over cooked — asked for medium rare not even pink anywhere. For a ribeye it much flavor. Would not go there again.
We had absolutely terrible table service from a server named Ty. She was rude and inattentive. It took 15 minutes to get hot water for tea, and another 15 minutes for her to remember to bring the cream for coffee I ordered after lunch, by which point my coffee was already cold.
Wonderful experience as usual - Anis always pleases with excellent wine, food and service.
the services was incredibly slow. waited for 45 min for the check and the waiter had to ask twice what we all had. kind of left a bad impression and sadly because I love the place.
Wonderful Bistro with ambiance! It can get a little loud but otherwise a really great time with really great food!
Super neighborhood spot. Our “go to”. Mussels won’t disappoint. Patio seating is recommended but it can be loud.
Our party of six had a great birthday celebration dinner at Anis. The food was all so good and our service was excellent.
We started with a lovely dry Rose and the mussels in white wine sauce with fries, the mussels were cooked perfectly and the white wine sauce was so delicious that we wanted to sop it all up with the crusty bread. The fries were amazing as well. My sister had the trout, cooked so well that you could eat the skin and I had the special of a heavenly mushroom risotto topped with mahi mahi. Finally we finished off our feast by sharing the orange strawberry sorbet which came with lovely fresh fruit on top.
The food was great especially the beef filet was amazing. Staff were friendly, had a great time
Our 47th anniversary evening was one of the loveliest we've ever had. As always, our appetizer, entrees, wine, coffee and desserts were well paired and delicious, and our server was efficient, knowledgeable, and one of those superior, attentive waiters who never intrude...a total pleasure in service. The evening music was primarily in French, romantic easy listening and excellent execution.
One of my favorite restaurants.
I love this neighborhood jewell! It's my favorite place to go in Buckhead.
