Anis Cafe and Bistro
The menu is deeply rooted in the ingredients and aromas that give dishes from the French Mediterranean region their unique flavors.
Anis is comprised of an inside dining room and an outside patio area that is available for seating year round, and a charming little bar where you may enjoy a meal if you wish.
Widely known as one of the most romantic dining spots in the city, Anis is a great place to meet up with friends and can cater to large parties with ease.
Reservations are accepted and encouraged.
Join us for live Brazilian jazz on Thursday evenings.
Nice Sunday Brunch!
Food was good but when did they start allowing dogs? We had to listen to 3 little dogs, sitting in chairs at a nearby table, yapping through dinner.
Charming place. French menu with moules frites and steak frites. Nice wine selection. Great for date or lunch with friends
The food and service were fantastic! The tables are very close together, so it was pretty loud and a bit difficult to make our way to the exit after our dinner. We'll definitely go back though as everyone in our group really enjoyed their meal.
Good quality food. A bit noisey. Great service I would recommend and return to Anise.
We had friends visiting from abroad so it was a great place to catch up. We were also lucky to witness an opera singer serenade his wife by singing happy birthday in opera tone. It was sweet
Food was great as usual! However, the service was nothing like the many other times we have dined at Anis which is one of our favorite restaurants. There was private party on the patio, where we really wanted to sit, and there were on two waiters taking care of the inside dining room plus helping with the party as well. Three tables came and left while we watched.
However, this is one of our favorite spots where we take visiting friends, including this visit with colleagues from Germany. So, we will back and hope that the service improves on our next visit. The food was awesome as usual!
The food was AWESOME! Our waitress was just ok, but the rest of the team picked up the slack. We will DEFINITELY be back for Sunday Family Brunch. Great value for the food and beverages you receive
Our waiter took such good care of us! We spent the evening talking and enjoying our drinks, dinner and desert.
The music was too loud in one area, but the noise level where I had lunch was acceptable despite a few relatively loud customers. The food was interesting and good, and the service was fine.
Friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive waitstaff. Tuna was perfect. Bread pudding dessert was delicious.
GREAT‼️‼️‼️delicious trout. Nice waiter.
Always an amazing experience at Anis! Best restaurant in Atlanta!
Always one of our faves!!!
Very good food and wine list
Cute place and friendly service. We were there for brunch and it was lovely sitting there, food is OK.
Our food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect for a nice dinner out. Will definitely be going back.
Food was delicious. The trout was amazing as well as the duck. Atmosphere was very chill. Not too loud and service was excellent.
Anis is always great. We had the duck and the chicken. both very well prepared and tasty!
Really good food. Our dishes were not fancy but they were fresh and cooked perfectly.
Butternut squash soup was thin and tasted like lemon, totally unlike any butternut squash soup anyone would recognize. Pribably best to ask for a description b4 ordering. Removed from bill after taxed. Was never asked if i would like anything else so a shared mussel apperizer which was good and a house salad was all I ate which was also good and luckily the bread was good too. Maybe an off night??
We keep coming back because it's so consistent: great food, personal service, wonderful atmosphere. It's a favorite go-to place and it never disappoints.
Everything about Anis Cafe and Bistro was wonderful, our experience was beyond what we expected! The food was amazing, we had the Scallops, Escargot, Mussels and Pork Chop. Our server, Luis, was great and treated us to a Dessert Trio. The setting was quaint and fun. I would highly recommend Anis for any occasion!
Very good French food in a casual atmosphere. Self-parking is scarce, so use the valet parking on the driveway on the right side of the restaurant (that looks like a driveway for a different business, but isn't).
Delicious Sunday Brunch on the beautiful patio, with our two beagles. Great, friendly, accommodating service. Best dining experience ever with our dogs with us. Highly recommend!
Rustic atmosphere and great food! The service was good - could be a bit friendlier.
This is a very eclectic restaurant. Tables are close to others. Servers were very attentive. The inside dining is quieter than the closed in patio. The bread was very good, but it would have been nice if the butter was soft. The food was very good; the salmon was delicious. However, salads and vegetables are an additional charge. The restaurant only has valet parking.
I have always enjoyed going to Amis although it can quite noisy. This past Sunday I thought the food had gone down and the price had gone up.
Octopus appetizers, trout, tortellini and braised beef and the fish special were all excellent. Very nice experience
Great neighborhood french bistro. Outstanding food and service. Dali is the best server!! The smoked salmon and octopus appetizers are excellent. Daily specials never disappoint but the steak frites is a sure thing.
Since moving into the neighborhood, people have been raving about this gem. Went for lunch with the husband. This is a great spot for the mature crowd who want to converse & linger. The decor is "eclectic" french bistro . We shared the signature mussels which were plentiful & tasty! I had 4, nicely sized seared scallops over a sauteed rice pilaf affair. Husband had the sausage Maquez which are made of spicy lamb & served with mashed potatoes & a small salad. Everything was very good as was the service. Oh! And the bloody marys were perfect! Will definitely be putting this into heavy rotation.
I hadnt been in for a while, and quite frankly, i was a bit disappointed. Seemed to be a bit "off" ie not as charming or delicious. Still pretty good but I think it needs some refresh of menu and the space.
Anis is one of my absolute favorites. They never disappoint; always enjoyable!
We loved the patio and the ambience. Great date night.
We chose a beautiful autumn evening to dine in their outside dining area with perfect weather. Our waiter Jeremy was extremely knowledgeable and gave us his recommendations, along with tastes of a couple of different wines before we chose one bottle of white wine. My husband and I shared the scallops, which were melt-in-your-mouth delicious! I picked for my entree the fish special "Wreckfish" on shaved apple/celery slaw, and it was very tasty. My husband picked duck leg confit that he liked very much. We shared the brioche bread pudding, since I am a bread pudding lover. It was a perfect evening, and we are very pleased we dined here and had Jeremy as our attentive wait person.
The food and service here has always been supreme. I do believe it's time to update the look. I have been going there since 1996 and they have not renovated anything. It's tired and musty.
Food choices and quality were excellent. Nice outdoor seating area with plenty of room between tables. Service was top notch. Server was pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional.
One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta, have been coming back for almost 10 years. Great, authentic French food, only had one bad meal ever, a batch of bad mussels. LOVE their mussels and highly recommend them however, I consider them the best in Atlanta.
Love this place. One of the best patios in the city, feels like you're in Paris. Desserts and cocktails are outstanding. Last time I went I was disappointed with my service but I will definitely come back.
