Best service I've had in 30 years. Jason is excellent. Filet was excellent. Dessert was excellent. Not cheap, but worth it.
We enjoy ourselves here. The wait staff is great. The food is good and our children are comfortable here.
Went for Easter dinner and everything was excellent from the food to the service. Steak and salmon perfectly cooked and the children's menu was suitable to our needs.
We love coming to this restaurant when we are in the area. They serve a delicious raw bar, and the burger was just right. Our server was attentive and cheerful. We enjoyed the evening. The lighting was a little dim where we were sitting, which we didn't notice until we had to take care of the check. I had a mini-flashlight though....
Service was exceptional. Our jackets were taken when we arrived, by a think was a manager. Waiter was great, not on top of us every minute, but attentive to know when to clear plates and top off our drinks. Delmonico steaks were cooked as we ordered. Best brussel sprouts I ever had. This place reminds me of Morton's Steak House, but 1/2 the price.
We had a very nice dinner there for Valentines day. The waiter was excellent, attentive without being rushed. Anticipated our needs, and altogether outstanding.
We love the Monday night Burger & a Beer, so enjoyed that, and burger was done just as ordered, fries always good; the fish & chips was also great, nice & hot, so good. Nice place to go after a busy work day to just kick back & relax.
Went for birthday dinner. The food and service was very good, but no matter how you slice it the restaurant is in the center of the lobby. You can see people passing by and hear people checking into the hotel. We have always enjoyed all of the food created by the Mazzone chefs, but the ambiance was lacking. Next time we will make the drive into Albany and go to 677 Prime.
Our waitress was excellent. The food was not as good as we expected.
Our food was excellent and our server was wonderful! We loved it here
I met my wife 5 years ago on New Year’s Eve and it totally changed my life forever. we are now married and have the Brady bunch with 8 grandchildren. I wanted a nice cozy relaxing casual meal to celebrate our 5th year together without the new year's noise of the New Year's Eve parties. This was the perfect spot. waiter was spectacular and the atmosphere and food were remarkable.
The food and service were very good, but the overall atmosphere feels like your sitting in a hotel lobby. If you going to spend the money go someplace else.
Steaks were done perfectly, side order was wrong. Tried to tell waitress this as she put the plate down, but she denied. Called her back and reiterated that it was wrong. By the time the kitchen replaced it, we were done eating dessert. Waitress was giving a good effort but was comparable to any chain restaurant waitstaff. With a half empty restaurant, not sure why we needed to be seated at a cramped table for 2. Oversized plates, while elegant, made tabletop very crowded. Add 2 bread plates, a bread container, 2 water glasses, 2 teacups, a plastic hot water pitcher, and the salt/pepper and it was challenging to pick up/replace anything.
My favorite place to dine for special occasions, happy hour or delicious plates in the bar. The service is well-timed, and the staff is warmly attentive. The food is heightened with several amazing layers of flavor to the palate. Whether its a burger or filet mignon, your first delightful bite tells it all. So good!
We had cocktails and dinner served at the bar. Our servers at the bar were awesome and their cocktails were perfectly made. Happy hour snacks delicious and great bargain. Steaks were delicious. Great bar ambience made even better by bar staff. Awesome bourbon old fashions and dirty martinis.
This was the perfect place for dinner with a colleague. It was quiet, the pacing of the food / drinks was excellent, and the service was impeccable.
Our waiter, Jason, was first rate! He’s always helpful in deciding what to order & is friendly, attentive & efficient. Food is always delicious, steaks are done just right, desserts are wonderful, wines are great, & mixed drinks were perfectly done. Prime never disappoints!
Server was slow and forgetful! Food was just ok. Cocktails, beer, wine were good.
We were there on a Monday night and had the Burger Special. It was wonderful and their coleslaw is delicious.
Another Angelo Mazzone hit... our meals were very very good - I ordered the salmon which was delicious. My husband enjoyed his filet and my sister had the smoked chicken which she said was excellent. Our server was friendly and efficient. The only downside to the dining experience is that the restaurant is in a Hilton Garden Inn, so the vibe is pedestrian and not upscale like its sister restaurants in Albany and Saratoga. There were scruffy looking teens lounging around at the entrance / lobby area, and it was a bit of a turn off for me. If you're looking for great food at a fair price you can find it here - but keep in mind the ambiance is similar to a shopping mall restaurant. Prices are half of what you'd see at Prime Albany or Saratoga, so good value.
Excellant food. Ambiance and location are excellant.
Overall, Angelo's Prime delivers a good meal. It is just not a great value. The dishes are pricey. The delmonico steak was great. The fried green beans with the pork were not exceptional. For the price of the meal I was expecting more.
The atmosphere was a bit dark and hotel looking.. Service was slow.. and the waitress forgot to bring out my leftovers which was almost the whole dinner!!
Needs more people. If the restaurant closes at 10pm do not start cleaning at 8pm.
We had planned to eat in Saratoga before a SPAC concert, but because we were running late, decided to eat at Prime in our hotel. Ordered an appetizer of Korean BBQ wings. They took over a half hour to arrive. The waitress was very nice and apologetic and offered us a complimentary dessert. The wings were very good. I had the grilled half chicken which was well flavored but quite dry. Didn't eat much of it. My husband said his burger was very good. As we were eating the manager sent over a huge plate of nachos. Nice gesture but we were short on time and no longer hungry. Never got the free dessert, but no time to eat it anyway. Not impressed with the place, but maybe we got them on a bad night. Must stress, though, that they were very nice and totally owned the unfortunate delay. PS: Sting concert was great!
Dinner for four after a day at the track. Restaurant is located just off the lobby of a Hilton Garden Inn. The ambiance is about what you'd expect at a hotel restaurant. Nothing special. The service and the food on the other hand, was excellent. Main courses were cooked perfectly and our server, Alex, was attentive but not overbearing. Would recommend, even if not staying at the hotel.
Angelo's provides very good food and excellent service in an unexpected location. One doesn't often think of a Hilton Garden Inn, or most hotels for that matter, as a good dining spot. Angelo's is one of the exceptions. You can get anything from a burger to diver scallops, and everything is always very good. If you like meatloaf, try theirs, but bring a large appetite. It is enough for three meals, seriously, and some of the best I've ever had at a restaurant. This is truly one of Clifton Park's hidden gems. I'm almost afraid that it will get so popular that we locals will not be able to get in.
Excellent service, and food. Very enjoyable.
The Not-Your-Mom's-Meatloaf is the best meatloaf! Service was very good, food delicious. We'll be back.
Food was cooked to order. We had appetizers, soup, entrees all perfect it was 200$ with tip but worth it. Special occasion
Our experience was great! Great place to bring the family!
Had a great time with my girlfriend at Angelo's prime. The food was fantastic, we both had the Filet Mignon. Drink choices were good and ambience was very nice. Definitely welcome back!
We took advantage of the Monday Burger n' a Beer special, which was just what we had a taste for. Burgers were cooked as ordered, the fries were great, and the draft beers which are different every time, were very good too. Server was very attentive to our needs. Thank you.
Surprisingly good food given that it's tucked into a hotel within a mall.
Great service all the time. Offering change with the season including food and drink. Connoisseur of whatever you need is a guy named Ryan. He knows his stuff and is very personable and professional. One of my favs to eat at-
Very good food and service. Interesting menu choices. We arrived a little late, but still no problem in getting our food quickly, so that we could get to SPAC on time for a concert. Always enjoy Angelo Mazzone's creative menu and superb preparation, no matter which of his restaurants we visit!
The service and ambiance was wonderful. The food was very good. great selection of wines, beer, and drinks. The Maplewood salad was excellent, The coconut creme pie was just out of this world the best dessert I have ever tasted. That is saying something because I have had a ton of desserts in my lifetime. The pie is nothing like your average coconut creme pie. I am not a coconut fan but this was fantastic . Drinks were perfect. Only con was it was a little expensive .
The waiter did not tell us that there was an upcharge for substituting Brussels sprouts for mashed potatoes and Visa versa. It was only $2.00 each for a total of $4.00, but he should have told us. My friend asked for a house Cabernet and he gave her a more expensive one.
I invite the manager to call me. I have been at this restaurant many times and had great experiences. This was not a good experience at all.
