This place was a very nice last-minute find prior to attending a show at Carnegie Hall.
I would definitely go back :-)
Business travel takes me to NYC monthly and I always find myself coming back almost every trip. The food really tastes great, and when I compare to other high end Italian restaurants in the area, I think the food tastes better and the price is slightly less overall. If you haven't tried it, I would definitely recommend it, as I really don't think you can go wrong. I am a native Italian New Yorker and I know it's always tough to find good Italian food when compared to all the great homemade meals by family.... Angelo's is a winner in my book!!
Attentive staff, good quality food with large portions, and needs of children are accommodated.
Very well impressed. Nice and friendly place
Very good italian food.
Raviolis and tiramisú great
The food was good, tasted good, service good, but nothing with the wow factor and didn't leave with a feeling must go back, but good for a late night snack/pizza.
Waitress suggested a very nice wine.
White pizza was very good and filling.
Restaurant is cozy and I would return to try more dishes.
Food was great, however they got my fathers food wrong. It was also quite noisy and expensive.
Very loud. Would only recommend for families with kids. Not for a date night or girls get together. The noise was very annoying and distracting.
It's my favorite pizza in the midtown area! Great coal oven pizza.
Cool place gor informal dinner. Loved the salad. Pizza was great. I will be back.
Prices are acceptable and the food was delicious. Seafood spagetti and fried zucchini and eggplants were awesome
A bit load
Great service and amazing food!
I always go to Angelos when in New York. I have tried several Italian restaurants but none have ever come close!
Good pizza, prices, location. Service was a little brusque.
We were in NY for a few days break and we found this italian restaurant right around the corner from our hotel. Good food, quick service and friendly staff. I would highly recommend.
The loudest server driven noise of any restaurant I have ever been in. Servers taking plates and silverware out of the dishwasher were relentless and could care less how badly they were ruining the dining experience. Management did nothing to quiet it down. The food was nothing special and I liken it to a Sbarro experience only more expensive.
Lovely welcome, nice viby restaurant....great pizzas and good value considering size...we could have had one between two so a family of four could have eaten all in for around $80 which for Manhattan off 7th Ave and Central Park is very good....pleasant staff and quick service....would come back
Great food, good service, will probably be back! Not the place for special occasions, and they had a little difficulty making sure the order for our large group came out right. The food, at the end of the day, was really good so just keep that in mind when you're there.
Great spot for family; we brought our 1-year old and staff was very accommodating!
Very good pizza and friendly service.
Excellent food with OK service. We had two different pizzas and had no complaints with the quality of the food. The dinner salads were large enough for two people to share without moving up to the family style portion.
Location was great. Prices were moderate, service was spotty. Tad more casual than what we had anticipated. But overall decent value.
Great pizza - but otherwise food was average. Easy to grab a quick bite before the theatre.
I absolutely love this restaurant and have been coming here ever since I was a kid. The pizza is certainly the best in the city, in my opinion! They have so many options to personalize the pizza along with the delicious thin crust! Altogether, this is a very nice classic Italian pizza restaurant and I would recommend it any time you are around the area, especially before or after a concert at Carnegie!
Great pizza, friendly staff and great location.
Food was exceptional. Had a pizza, calamari, salad
Awesome! Had a birthday party here with 15 kids between 4-9 ages. Kids and adults loved the food! Thanks!!
Unfortunately the service was terrible. The waitress showed no accountability for making a mistake with our order and she was rude.
The server was oustanding.
The pizza was soggy. I had asked for crisp. I sent the first one back. The second pizza was also soggy. Pizzas are expensive. The glass of Chianti was the worst I have ever had.
Atmosphere was perfectly New York..small and quaint! The food was outstanding!!!
Food was excellent except that bread was really hard. Server was awesome but delays because she was covering our table upstairs and tables downstairs. Wish they had a better beer selection.
Love love love the pizza!!!! We also loved the garlic steamed broccoli. I will come back here on my next visit!!!!!
Great place. Great food. Servers were fun.
Outstanding pie, friendly staff
Waitress was very nice to suggest what to order and was on point to our palate, very attentive and fast. It just too noisy. Food is excellent.
I wasn't expecting much, but the grilled octopus salad was truly excellent! The pizza smelled and looked delicious, but I didn't have that. Our waiter was attentive.
Great pizza, pasta and salad at reasonable cost in a relaxed and friendly neighbourhood restaurant. Recommended.
My son said it was the best pizza he has ever had..... I can't argue.
