Service was not particularly good that night
Someone’s dinner not served until all others finished
Coffees were offered but we have preferred a better
All enjoyed our meals. Although service was good server was hard to fing a few times. Of course restaurant was crowded.
Valentine luncheon , great food. Will e back
Could not have a decent conversation and we were only at a table for 4.
Our ears were ringing when we left.
None of us Will not go back until after "season" ... or maybe not ever unless they get the noise level under control.
too busy and service slow. We mostly enjoy it there. However, the outdoors is too noisy, and the place was a zoo.
Love the food, absolutely delicious fabulous service tonight .
Now if they can lower the noise level it would be perfect
Had a 7:30 Reservation and got seated at 7:45.
Had a horrible table right next to the hostess stand and the noise was horrible and I was jostled repeatedly. That said, the server was good and the food was excellent. Had a great Martini and so overall it was fine and fun to see many people enjoying themselves.
We were excited to eat here after all the reviews we made an open table reservation and they seated us immediately which on a very busy Saturday evening was not expected however the table was very wet. But they were too busy to clean the table. The food was not good. I ordered clams and mussels in red sauce. I was so amazed by the paucity of any thing but primarily red sauce not clams and mussels . I called the manager to tell him about the food and the fact that bread was not served. He did not apologize he said:”I can’t believe it”. And ran away with out explaining.
We ordered beet salads and either they ran out of food because it was mainly grass and very few beets. The eggplant parmigiana was served late and cold. Despite asking for bread it wasn’t served. We paid full price not an early bird. We were tempted to not tip the waiter but it wasn’t his fault. They over booked and there was an overcrowded restaurant. Not a pleasant experience I cannot believe that there were so many better reviews if you are a masochist come here on a Saturday night. We will never go back
Andres our server was excellent! Food was outstanding as always!
Good go to restaurant. Consistent and great value.
Overall a great evening and meal for the four of us. Non-valet parking is very limited so if you want to park yourself, need to drive around and walk a short ways to restaurant. Great ambiance, bar scene, food. My lasagna was not very "hot" but I decided not to send it back and it was very good. The prices are a bit on the higher side but then the total experience is worth the few extra dollars per entree. Definitely a good alternative to downtown Delray
The spicy olive oil is great. In fact, I think it’s the best thing there.
Great food from start to finish.
Ordered branzino cooked to order. Eggplant tapas and desserts were special
This was the third time in 8 days that I had dinner @ Angelo Elia and once again it was terrific. For my friends it was their first visit and they really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We all loved the Veal Meatballs and various other appetizers. Our server did an excellent job and all four of us look forward to returning in the next few weeks. The restaurant is truly a Neighborhood Gem.
Service and food were good except for the bread which was stale and tasteless
Seafood and chicken hard and inedible
Great food, too loud! You can’t communicate without shouting.
One of our favorite eateries in South Florida. Food is always good, service exceptional, great bar.
Consistently great food prepared to diner specifications. My only objection is the television.....why???
Very good pizza and dinner. Noise level is an issue for inside dining.
Food was good. Portions were nice sized. Service was good. Noise level way too loud. Chairs uncomfortable. In all I enjoyed and would come back and recommend to a friend
Very noisy with the plastic chairs on outside area
good food and service, useful valet service, accommodating
Waitress named Sue was terrible. She was rude and we waited over 30 minutes for her to bring our drink order (only one drink).
She was confrontational. If we ever go back there, we will request a different server
We really enjoyed our evening here. Monday night offers half price wine...a big deal. We both had pizzas...rustica , a pepperoni choice, and Cremona, with figs and pears. The size was perfect.. 4 slices there and two for lunch the next day.
One of our go to restaurants. Loved outdoor area seating.
The service and the food is outstanding. We had the pizza and lasagna. Deliciousm
Always enjoy the tapas gd bread & nice wine list
Service and food were very good. Good value, too. Love the eggplant parm.
Pasta with vongole was too al dente
Great service but the food was just average for the price.
Always consistent, food and service. fabulous pizza and salads. Try the Angelo pizza!
Excellent food. Waiter needed a bit more training.
Very good, 6 people all pleased. Only small issue Caeser Salad dressing very weak and on the verge of tasteless. Certainly back we come.
we would visit this restaurant almost every ten to fifteen days but this was the worst experience I’ve had in years. The waiter did not know how to take the orders from drinks to coffee, The bartender did not know how to mix the drinks and came to ask, It was a total disgrace and it will be a long time before we return,
We have been to Angelo Elia many times and have a very good experiences but last Friday night the service was terrible from start to finish. First we waited about twenty minutes for a waiter, then they brought three waters for four people then we had to ask for someone to take our orders. Our first course was fine but our plates were not cleaned up for our pizza. Pizza came and we had to ask for plates which took too long to get. Our pizzas were not hot by the time we were able to eat them. We were given a dessert platter on the house because of all the problems but that does not take away from the incredibly bad service. We then had to go looking for someone to get our check. Unfortunately I think it will be a while before we return and recently I told someone this was one of my favorite local restaurants !🙁
First off, the hostess sat another family at out outdoor table, so she had to put us inside. Our waitress was nice but confused the order a few times. Everyone’s food was good, especially the gnocchi and chicken. But one of the pizzas, while tasty, looked thrown together. There were halved cherry tomatoes thrown on the pizza but clumped all in one area of the pizza. Good local place, but not terrific.
even though the service was not good the last time we ate there I know that they can do better...it seems they were boughed down with reservations and the wait staff was just running back and forth to the kitchen. I always enjoy the pasta and tomato sauce...this time the pasta needed an additional hot sauce which I asked for and did get
Been there a number of times. Service seemed overwhelmed and was slow. The food is good, but not up to the level of a Tramonti .
